I can’t even contact them to ask a question on my claim – Travel insurance is absolutely useless if you can’t contact the company to ask questions or get help. I will never use this company again and I’ve bought insurance, now I need to use it but I can’t get in touch, just hours on hold playing an advertisement about how great their customer service is. What a joke. Show details
Terrible. Horrible. A scam – Terrible.
Terrible Customer Service is underrated – From the very start of the purchase transaction, it was a failure. I never received my policy coverage and had to call customer service to request it and was advised to email. No coordination. Then few weeks before my flight, I had to extend my travel, so I had to notify them, and initially, it took them a week to respond to my email query. But… Read more
they just replied that a team member would call me to process the changes cause I had to cancel the original insurance and then refund me and purchase a new one, but this never happened. I had to purchase new coverage from different travel insurance. I am now waiting for the refund.
Do anything not to pay out - DO NOT PAY CHUBB for pretend insurance – Our rip was cancelled by the provider Telo Island Lodge. $10,500 AUD. We had to scramble to find more accommodation to suit our flights (already paid of course). Nothing to do with COVID, the supplies could not be delivered to the island for some reason (food, water, fuel). Chubb just said bad luck you're not covered. This is the worst insurance company in the world and RECOMMENDED BY AMEX. Simply do not use. Show details
Worst travel insurance ever – Phone lines busy. You can claim only if you stuck in roits or war. All claim will be rejected. They have think tank sitting in office to reject claims. Strongly recommend not to buy insurance from this company Show details
Don't use this company - they are complete grubs – Make sure you steer away from this company. They are complete grubs and don't pay out. Quick to take your money though. They try to bamboozle you with all their clauses. A load of nonsense. I have just opened a case against them with the AFCA Show details
Buyer Beware!! Absolutely Useless Coverage! Total Waste of Money!! – Purchased a travel insurance for a family of 5 totaling $950. Chubb was most expensive of the three quotes but chose them from a friend's recommendation. Three hours before our departure we were robbed of our luggage. The thieves smashed through the rear window of our rental car, stealing over $7,740 worth of goods - the most expensive being my… Read more
husband's CPAP machine and 3 laptop computers. Chubb refuses to cover because apparently, we need to be mugged before they will cover because our luggage was considered "unattended" as it was left in the car for 30 min while we got a sandwich for lunch. Seriously?? Why bother having insurance? Imagine if it was a medical claim? Save your money and get travel insurance that truly covers you, like Allianz or QBE. Chubb is a disgraceful insurance company. As Natasha, a previous reviewer posted, they did not even cover her for flight cancellations/issues. Shame on you Chubb! I feel like I've been robbed all over again. Stay away from this insurer and learn from my mistake purchasing coverage from them. A total sham company.
