Honest and helpful staff – Had my Nissan serviced at a dealership.They noted I Ineeded 2 new tyres and had an unrepairable puncture. Cost $588. Made a booking with City discount tyres Wangarra and they ordered in tyres. On arrival for booking they stated tyres were not worn and easily had another 10000 Ks left in them. They fixed puncture. No good won't go back – I had 2 new tyres fitted to the front of my Toyota camry and a wheel alignment done..the next week in the rain I had a car cut me off I had to hit the brakes quite hard and the car spun around on me..absolute crap tyres and paid $120 each..have since put bob jane all rounders on and they are great..also hate to say but need my wheel alignment done again as it is no good..still pulls to the left quite badly.. Show details

Dodgy – Claimed they can do mechanical repairs but really have very little idea, would've damaged my car while attempting to diagnose the problem if I hadn't have been watching, referred me to another business and they completely ripped me off for ? Dishonest with poor customer service – I had 2 tyres stripped and fitted and swapped to another set of rims. Ian diffen Myaree wanted to charge me $400. Break down was $200 to unscrew 2 tyre pressure monitors and $200 to fit the tyres. They said it takes around 1 hour to fit the tpms. I was watching and it took 5 minutes. I called Tyrepower and they quoted $200 total with the tpms swapped for free. Half the price. Shop around as $200 premium for a simple job is a lot of money for most people these days.

included snapping the handle off the dipstick, which I only discovered after the cabin filled up with burning oil fumes and I checked the oil level. Having checked the oil a couple of days earlier and it being just below the high line, it was now 2cm above the high line on the dipstick, and oil was leaking out a pipe at the top and dripping down the engine, burning, forcing fumes into the car. So chucking in a whole lot of unneeded oil is part of the "inspection" too I guess. I was wrong in what I thought the problem was and take responsibility for that, and appreciate them not charging me but ffs all the rest is just taking the [Content Removed]. I would have given them a few hundred just so they wouldn't break the dipstick, spread grease everywhere, flood the thing with oil, give me days of headaches from the fumes, and of course just for the time they spent looking at it. The dipstick - accidents happen, but just be honest about it. Too much oil - if a clueless idiot like me can tell there's enough, surely a mechanic can right? Grease everywhere - maybe it was just the one mechanic there that has no respect and I was unlucky. Least they didn't charge me, because now I still have money to sort out all their "inspection" stuff. Regret everything from the moment I contacted them. and the next day I tested them out and they didn't skid off into the median strip while I was coming off the Leach Highway off-ramp, despite the wet conditions. Outstanding service, free tyre rotation at 5000 kms, finished on time, called me when the car was ready to collect, I'll be going back next week for another set on my second car.

They had absolutely no intention of providing good service or helping me. In the end, I took their advice and went to the other tire shop. Returned vehicle on the Monday. Explained situation to Sales Manager again. Was told nothing he can do as owner had done job and wouldn't be back until Wednesday. Didn't even come out and look at the vehicle to assess how DANGEROUS it really was. Sales Manager [name removed] (surname withheld) didn't like being told that we would be leaving the vehicle there. His repeated use of the words, I don't know, I don't care was deplorable. Sales Manager [name removed] (surname withheld) then decided it was a great idea to start Screaming at us to stop yelling at him in his store and to get the hell out while running full speed from behind the counter, across the salesroom floor as if he was going to assault us. He stopped a couple of inches from my face and continued to scream. Obviously Social Distancing also not in his Forte of Customer Service skills. My Son and I were Dumbfounded by his actions as both of us hadn't yelled at him at all, at that stage.

Left with vehicle as no other option and took to another Mechanical repairer in the area who was appalled that [name removed] even let the vehicle leave the workshop in that condition. Extremely Dangerous. Forgot to add that Sales Manager [name removed] (surname withheld) stood at the workshop door and taunted my Son and I yelling (I thought it was too Dangerous to drive) over and over. YES it was too Dangerous to drive as the Independent Mechanical report will show that I am lodging with Consumer Protection.

just standard, nothing special, 2005 Mitsubishi Outlander. He quoted over $690 as a “special”. I said bobjane quoted me $420 & they saw my car. He said oh you’re after bottom of the barrel budget tyres, don’t know what kind of rubbish they’d put on your car if that what’s you want. ANYONE WHO PAYS OUT ANOTHER COMPETITOR IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS.
