Excellent Service and Support – I have worked with Callum McDonald of CSW-IT with the upgrade of our Core switch and provided excellent service and support. We had a surprise during the installation and had to frantically identify and fix the issue. Terrible – Prices are the same everywhere these days anyway. It is easy to find better service elsewhere! I can't see the point of indicating "availability" on the website if it is just fake or plain lies! Nothing really Delivery delays promises are pure lies. They claim next day or same day availability on the website, up to the checkout payment stage. Three days later the goods haven't even been dispatched at all yet!

Bad – Webpage promised shipping within 24hours. Reality was in excess of 60hours. The item wasn't cheap and I would have expected better service than what was provided. Prices for electronic items are within 1-3% of the same price everywhere, my advice would be not to use City Software (eStore) and chose a shop / webpage that is more service friendly… Read more

and reliable. Free delivery for items over $200. Claimed stock was on hand and fast dispatch from warehouse. Got neither. I was told that my order could be tracked via their webpage. Checked the following day and saw a note saying that credit card authorisation was required. I called and was told that I would be sent an email that day to authorise credit card payment, the following day I called again and finally recieved the email. Filled out the form and then received an email stating that it wasn't required and that dispatch would occur later that day. Guess what, it didn't!

What a joke – After many years of purchasing on line with my visa I was asked to provide copies of drivers licence, electricity bills, etc. to confirm my identity...isn't this how identity theft occurs. Good – My Billion VNPX was delivered withing two days of order at the cheapest price found anywhere. The unit arrived and was working well until I stuffed it upgrading firmware over wireless. call I had my replacement unit which is working well. Quick delivery interstate 2 days. Cheap specials. Refunded product no worries after approval from manufacturer. Might have to follow them up with your order if it is non standard or on back order

Excellent – Bought toner cartridges for my laser printers, 8 GB SD memory cards for camera and Microsoft Office Home edition. Prices were cheaper than three other stores that I checked. All items received in good condition next day by courier. Would recommend them. Price, easy to use website and fast delivery.

Basically price I ordered the item for on Monday is still the same today, Wednesday - is this false advertising to encourage people to buy - I think so.

I am truly amazed these guys are still in business. Be extremely careful and take time to read the reviews that give 5 stars - I wouldnt be suprised at all if their employees wrote the reviews themselves.

Terrible – have read the last 10 reviews, and pretty much agree with all of them. Found them on shopbot.com.au; obviously this website is unable to screen its users. Again, very keen to take the credit card details and charge it, then promise next day delivery, and the delivery never happens despite repeated phone calls a bunch of deceiving crooks - should be shut down, and/ or sent to jail

Terrible – Quick service for delivery and charge, but thats it. If the item goes up in price they hold off replacing until you finally have to ask for a refund (still waiting). company. Keep records of all contact with them ready for your court case. Item did arrive reasonably quick, iten cheapest on market at the time. DOA (Dead on Arrival) item. They told me that it was my responsibility to organise replacement through Billion. Then they said that they would do it eventually. Took 2 weeks to pick up and still waiting return. Many calls so finally asked for refund.

Terrible – City Software have nothing going for them, their prices are high, their MegaDeals are crap and the staff are stupid. It seems real management is non-existent at City Software, and staff are quick to get you off the phone. Also, twice I had to wait nearly 2 weeks on two separate occasions for stock to come in, told "we are experiencing difficulties from our supplier" Come on guys, do you really think we are that stupid, bloody salesguys trying to cover up a credit hold situation, the public can see through your cashflow problems like a laser through smoke!

the item was still back-ordered and customer service did not seem to concerned or offer an eta. They cancelled my order and informed me that I would receive a refund via paypal - which I have yet to receive.

Terrible – Ordered a piece of Deluxe software and got the standard edition instead, plus it was late and I had to waste a day at home. Contacted them. Three weeks later no refund credited.Had to chase it up. Someone would call me back. Didn't. Similar next day. Eventually sent email to them complaining of poor service and got response that I would receive a credit back withing 24 hours. I did get it - though it was late. Promised they'd give me a discount on my next purchase but if you contact them to get it they ignore you.

Stay Clear. Some specials are good value. If your item is delivered correctly you'll probably be happy. If something goes wrong with your order be prepared for a fight

Software, which costs me over $12. There were no news from them for about two weeks, so i rang 1300 658 600 to find if they had received the faulty item. They said they were waiting for shipment for the item in a week time. I checked their website that still showed the item to be shipped next day. This is very misleading. Anyway, I waited, waited, waited and then lost my patience. I send my email to them who informed that the money paid for the item was credited to my account. I had to contact them if I want my money to be refunded. I want my money and the postage back.

However, according to the reviews here, it looks like I have to go through another terrible experience with them to get my money back. Wish me a luck. Prices on some items are attractive and cheaper than other places, but don't forget the pain you have to go through if you have a problem with your ordered items. very dishonest, misleading website showing items that can be delivered next day. This is a big lie.

Excellent – Order placed online on 9th Nov. 2008 - 2 items. I'm on the south coast of WA. !st item arrived on 12th Nov, the 2nd on 17th Nov. Either something changed at City Software in this window or only those with a bad experience are driven to provide a review. I can only repeat that my experience is 100% positive. It's all good.

Terrible – Same as other poster, when I called them on it it is all promises but no action, very arrogant to tell me it is their suppliers fault not theirs, still after 3 months of promises and excuses they have failed to collect the TV and issue a credit it is still sitting here. have filed a dispute with the credit card company so I have some hope of getting my money back. Shipped TV quickly but thats all. TV was not new but either a demo or warranty return badly packaged and filthy.

it was a logistics problem on their end)

* lie to me about the status of my delivery (they said they had shipped another parcel, although they had not)

* assure me they would call me back to sort out the mix up, but never called

* lie to me about call records stating they called me and spoke with me, even though I was out of the state.

By this time, I just wanted a refund. I was assured that my refund would be processed and that my money would be back within a week. Another month and many phone calls later and I did not have my money, but City software had managed to:

* Lie to me and tell me that they had already issued the refund

* Tell me they would call me back, and they never did.

I ended up calling my bank to arrange for the transaction to be reversed.

Never, ever again will I order from City Software. Ever.
