Moved from a 2-bed room apartment in the inner city, to a storage zone and then to another flat in eastern suburbs.
They started 40min late. Then the two boys, who were clearly backbackers from Europe, arrived notably exhausted from the move they had done just earlier that day. They struggled to carry items which you’d expect removalists to do.

Was quoted 3 hours for what ended up being an 11.5 hr job - just a small 2 bedroom unit (no stairs). 10 mins between apartments.
Two incompetent removalists arrived in a dingy truck. No method or strategy to loading to utilise the space or facilitate any sort of efficiency. They ended up needing to do a 2nd trip. Numerous pieces of furniture was scratched and damaged.

I hired City Move based on the information they sent me that they were a professional moving company that is AFRA accredited and plastic wraps all furniture. Instead a rusty old truck showed up with a couple of guys in tracksuits. Was never told they hired third parties, and even their email had a photo of staff and trucks with their loggos on them. Moving a 3 bedroom house 5km distance. They started on time. Finished only with the employment of additional hired Airtasker workers from 3/4 of the way through in double the pervious move time.

The 3 removal men were excellent, hardworking, and careful, ensuring everything went to the right rooms all done with great courtesy and good humour.

Apart from the ACCC fining this mob TWICE for fake reviews, (Google citymove dodgy), they were a disgrace to deal with. They quoted 4hrs for a job that they then took 8 hrs to do, doubling their bill. The "professional" removalists are backpackers, one barely able to speak English. Save yourself the pain and find another company.

My lovely Citymove team moved my mum and I to a three bedroom unit in the Inner West of Sydney. Luckily, the move was not far, but still daunting for my elderly mum. The three team members were extremely friendly, polite and efficient. We were very thankful for their wonderful work and attitude. Definitely service with a smile. On time, fast and efficient. We would definitely recommend them.

I had to move a few items from one location to another. The service from Citymove was prompt, professional and highly competent. The items were accounted properly and transported safely.
