does with a bit of adjusting of original wiring harness. Went about connecting everything to check the unit works. It does however radio signal is very weak. NOW for the worst bit. Because of the change the unit hits the plastic moulding of the car in behind and you cannot secure/fit correctly. I reached out to them with photos. They came back to me 48 hours ( had to follow them up with second email) with the following response "that's the newest correct frame - if you would prefer a different one for a different fitment, let me know and we can get it sent." CJ Industries - guess what if it was the correct frame it would fit.

arrive. They blamed the courier and took NO responsibility. We have asked for a refund and/or new unit but as of today they are still trying to avoid doing either of those. While they have at least communicated with us - this is appalling. I feel like they are waiting until the warranty has expired BUT it has NEVER worked. If things are rectified I am prepared to change my review but at this point I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Follow-up · James tried to help but the unnamed responder was rude, dismissive not helpful. The replacement product still has defects/problems but the company had become impossible to deal with. After nearly 5 months of problems, we got a partial refund. Won't be buying from them again and don't recommend them.

the steering controls and volume knob. After spending 1 hour trying different CAN settings in the chinglish advanced settings, I finally found one that kinda works. Steering controls work. But all the buttons above the AC controls are incorrectly mapped, basically backwards. Add to this the volume knob glitches and takes a few seconds to change up/down. A flick of the knob doesn't work, it just increases by 2 numbers. Sometimes a flick upwards glitches it and it decreases the volume, continually, until it's off, lol. It's definitely not 20w RMS per channel. It can barely power the stock door speakers. Max volume, albeit no distortion, I can talk over no problems. Android auto barley works. The EQ and DSP is good. The USB output for connecting phone outputs barely enough current to actually charge your phone. Their manual and QR codes are helpful, but its all a bit rushed together as they fix issues with the units.
Follow-up · I am quite a technical person and I have spent days trying every setting under the sun, cluding the secret menu behind the pin code. Screen visibility is OK. In full sun don't expect to see images and videos but you can make out text from a radio station. Customer support is decent but it's clearly just an Australian re-seller just re-selling generic/OEM units and writing a proper manual for it all.

Previously using an iPhone 14 pro with previous iOS and had some connectivity issues when swapping between 5G for maps and going back to carplay connection very occasionally required a reboot. Unit is ok but not great quality. Purchased the $40 camera retention cable, and my dad who is a qualified electrician confirmed it did not work upon multiple attempts. Used the same cable from a different provider and it worked perfectly straight away. Customer service refused to accept the cable back or refund because they “can’t resell it”.
We placed an order on 18/6/2026 and are still waiting. Meanwhile I’ve ordered a coffee machine 2 days ago and it’s arriving today. The updates are poor. Received email on 24/6 that it was ready to be shipped 6 days later and no idea how much longer
Bought a unit to replace a faulty one in my vehicle. Unit was delivered reasonably quickly even though I requested and paid for express delivery which was supposed to be within 5 days it took 8 days. The control buttons in the unit lit up but nothing on the screen at all. I contacted their support teams and was requested to send a heap of photos of connections on the back of the unit and a number of other things until they notified me that they would be sending out a replacement unit. It has now been 4 weeks, and I still haven't seen the replacement unit, and they can't tell me when the unit will arrive.
If I was looking for a replacement head unit, I would steer well clear of CJ industries as their service is terrible and they can only be contacted via email as they have no phone number.
If I could rate them less then 1 star i would.
