Thank you heaps for the head unit. It was a present for my son & he loved it. All fitted in perfectly, wires were all good & nothing had to be altered. Definitely will be using you guys again in future if needed.
Everything was as straight forward as it gets, right from the start to the installation, I am not very technically minded but managed to install into my 2007 BT50 no problems at all, I even managed to navigate through the settings to change the theme.
As somebody with no background with cars I was surprised how easy it was to install my new head unit. It only took me a few hours and have not had a problem with it since the install

while it keeps trying to connect. The 1 thing that is a big let down is the screen is not scratch resistant, mine has already got significant scratching just from normal everyday use, and i've only had it 6 months. If they fixed the scratching issue it would be a solid purchase.

Brought the 12gb+ 256gb ram/rom and surround for a 2019 triton. Very happy with the unit and even more impressed with after sale service and help. Install was easy enough if you have basic knowledge of installing car stereos. Had a few hiccups trying to sort out tuning the unit with my sound system but James helped sort it out. the steering controls and volume knob. After spending 1 hour trying different CAN settings in the chinglish advanced settings, I finally found one that kinda works. Steering controls work. But all the buttons above the AC controls are incorrectly mapped, basically backwards. Add to this the volume knob glitches and takes a few seconds to change up/down. A flick of the knob doesn't work, it just increases by 2 numbers. Sometimes a flick upwards glitches it and it decreases the volume, continually, until it's off, lol. It's definitely not 20w RMS per channel. It can barely power the stock door speakers. Max volume, albeit no distortion, I can talk over no problems. Android auto barley works. The EQ and DSP is good. The USB output for connecting phone outputs barely enough current to actually charge your phone. Their manual and QR codes are helpful, but its all a bit rushed together as they fix issues with the units.
Follow-up · I am quite a technical person and I have spent days trying every setting under the sun, cluding the secret menu behind the pin code. Screen visibility is OK. In full sun don't expect to see images and videos but you can make out text from a radio station. Customer support is decent but it's clearly just an Australian re-seller just re-selling generic/OEM units and writing a proper manual for it all.

Follow-up · Some weeks since install and set up. Previously using an iPhone 14 pro with previous iOS and had some connectivity issues when swapping between 5G for maps and going back to carplay connection very occasionally required a reboot. Now using iPhone 17 pro max on ios26.1 and this "bug" seems to be fixed.

The control buttons in the unit lit up but nothing on the screen at all. I contacted their support teams and was requested to send a heap of photos of connections on the back of the unit and a number of other things until they notified me that they would be sending out a replacement unit. It has now been 4 weeks, and I still haven't seen the replacement unit, and they can't tell me when the unit will arrive.
If I was looking for a replacement head unit, I would steer well clear of CJ industries as their service is terrible and they can only be contacted via email as they have no phone number.
If I could rate them less then 1 star i would.

working properly. New wiring loom, try this, try that. Poor radio reception. Randomly won’t re auto connect to phones (iPhone 17 pro / iPhone 17). The hardware buttons don’t light up at night. The screen auto brightness is terrible (way too bright at night)… list goes on.
In the end I got it working but wasn’t without a huge investment of time and trial and error, and then living with the quirks.
These head units look good, but the reality is they are hardly consumer grade.
Wish I’d bought an OEM replacement at double the price.
Received first unit for my 2016 Navara, it didn’t work. Tech support is all over email.
