there, very loose so when you lift the trolley up, the tyres "running" away as well. The clothes hanger are dinted. it might be just a small few dents but I don't think it is fair that I paid over $50 for something like this, so I sent them an email. It has been over 1.5 weeks and no reply. I am pretty disappointed. I should have browsed more before I get it online. I found that I can get similar things at a cheaper price elsewhere but this isn't the main reason for my review here. It is the after-sale service that is very disappointing.

UPDATE (13.12.2021) The business had contacted me and had offered me a replacement without return as it was too much a hassle. Appreciated their understanding. My email was sorta loss as it hit the junk/ spam mail for their email. They had been very helpful and called me and explained and organize a new one out. Thanks to the Classic Homeware & Gifts customer service for the prompt service.

my purchase). Reading the reviews made me slightly worried, while the majority were positive, there were some negative reviews and that started to play on my mind. Postage was very quick (which was a great start) and then yesterday came delivery. Guess what? I HAD NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. The box my 3 sets of coffee cups/saucers came in was huge. At first it made me think it was a mistake but then I realised the sets were wrapped I so much bubble wrap that even if it had been dropped from a plane they would survive the fall. What’s more, the store even filled the coffee set box with foam beads to stop the cups moving and possibly chipping. Thank you so much for making sure the sets were well wrapped, they were gifts and I’m so grateful they arrived in great condition. I will be buying again because these cups are great and the perfect size for our coffees. I couldn’t recommend this store more.

Disappointed - Received a cracked glass jar and they refused to send a replacement – EDIT – Changed from 2* to 3*. Reason for review change: After writing my review and insisting on having a replacement jar, the company has sent me a new jar which was in good condition upon arrival on the 29/03/2021. Feedback on final customer service: It would be great if they had listened to the customers request for a replacement jar in the beginning as it would have avoided 4.5weeks of chasing them up and having to leave online reviews to obtain a replacement (we didn’t even ask for a full refund to begin with).

Purchased 2 Glass jars on their website from overseas for my mum in QLD to store homemade rice wine on 18/02/2021. When it arrived 26/02/2021, 1 of the jars was chipped/cracked and therefore unsafe to store any food content. Contacted Classic Homewares & Gifts to advise and included photos and videos and asked to have a replacement on 28/02/2021. They replied on 01/03/2021 saying "Would you like to have a 50% partial refund and still keep the item. Since this is a fragile item it has high chances for breakage if you sent us back and requires commercial packing.".

I replied saying that whilst I appreciate the offer, I would like a replacement as I have no use of a chipped/cracked jar and we can send the chipped/cracked jar back in the packaging of the replacement jar immediately. What would we do with a chipped/cracked jar that can't be used for its intended purpose, i.e.: to store food? With time, the chip/crack will get deeper and longer and we just can't risk it falling in the food that would be stored in the jar. They never replied despite me sending 3 additional emails.

I commented on one of their facebook posts on 22/03/2021 and asked if someone could get back to me asap as I haven't heard back from anyone since the 01/03/2021. They immediately messaged me on Facebook saying someone would contact me the next day. The next day, they advised that they had refunded 50% off the cracked jar, deleted my Facebook comment and stopped replying to my messages requesting for a replacement. Very disappointed in this service.

2 stars because 1 jar arrived fine, the other was chipped/cracked and they refused to replace the jar. Both were wrapped in the same way so it seems very unlikely that the jar was damaged on the way.

I have been buying from Classic Homewares and Gifts for the last few years. They have been very easy to deal with and helpful with any querries. I also found Asim to be extremely good with customer service. Show reply

Totally satisfied – Crystal cut glass bowl is of excellent quality. The price was excellent and delivery on time. I was impressed with the secure packaging to protect the item. Superior seller.

Avoid this store, the staff rude , the the items not good quality. I had store credit and want to use it in mt druitt store and he refused. With the reason new management. Thisnis not fair because the store use the brand classic homewares. This is ridiculous. If you use the franchise you shouldn't refuse. When I take the store credit from blacktown they said I can use with everywhere classic homewares stand. :(.

Reliable – I've being buying a few things now and then. A set of drinking glasses, a container to drain and keep oil, a rug for my front door........ what a great item, fits perfectly in my shower – The telescopic pole on the shower caddy fit just as you said it would. Having a large shower allows space for the caddy to sit in the corner. The shelves are easy to clean and the bathing products fit neatly.

I don't buy a lot of items but I most certainly will be going to Classic Homeware and Gifts first as they deserve my business and I recommend them to all buyers.

Beware this company – Item not received. The ones I did were clearly drop shipped and when received I searched and found the same item elsewhere from China- cheaply made, poor quality. When I contacted I got a short email with no customer service saying “refund shortly”. NOT AUSTRALIAN!! Drop ship! Cheap! Beware.
