The Older Models Used to be Good – The older models are amazing, but the newer ones are a waste of money. My older fan had a serial number within 50,000 while the newer ones I got was within 100,000. The old one pushed air like a champion, I could feel the breeze from at least 4 metres away. The newer fan that I've placed in my bedroom was horrible. You literally had to stand… Read more
less than a metre to feel a mild breeze, even if it is on max speed (i.e. 3).
Pictures for comparison. First 2 pictures is the older model, which also have a different plug (in white). The last 2 pictures is the newer model, stand looks different and the design is more simplistic. I think the build is relatively the same though, it wouldn't topple or break down on you.
TLDR:; the fan quality is not as good as how it used to be. You're better off investing in a better fan that costs more.
Durable as anything – - Cost me 11 $ , used uninterrupted for 5 yrs now - Easy to clean and de assemble and re assemble -Works fine as basic - Oscillation function is good too - Satisfied overall considering Such low price Show details
Wow! Great fan! – This is a great replacement for the ducted air con when not too hot but stuffy. Had I known I would have bought it earlier. $12 click fan from Bunnings. Easy to assemble. Quiet. Clean look. I adjust the motor to face up and let it oscillate. I can't believe how much air it's moving and cooling. This is what I needed in summer to take the edge… Read more
off the heat rather than the air con giving me a huge electricity bill. It works for my room 6m x 4m. Love love love it!
Great Value – This 40cm fan has done over a year and still working fine. For a cheap fan it has lasted well. Its on today still working well. Easy clean ensures longer life Im sure. Show details
Somwhat troublesome – After almost a year of having it, the motor is beginning to get sluggish diring startup. Other than that, it's a great product. Does a fantastic job at pushing air around when oscilating. A bit tricky to put together (had to call on dad to do it). I was surprised at the $9 pricetag when I saw it in Bunnings, but a fan is a fan if it does the job, and this fan does do the job. Show details
Not the best but how much can you expect from a $9 fan – Bought this fan for $9 at Bunnings. It's surprisingly powerful but there isn't much difference between the three speed settings. Ours is on a hard floor and it makes a bit of vibration noise when on, though it's only a problem if background hum/noise is irritating. For less than $10 it's easily worthwhile getting one for the summer. Show details
Does the job good – Brought from bunnings for $10 on sale. Assembly required takes about 5 minutes. Very adjustable to however you want. Quality seems decent and cant complain for $10 so its worth it. About as loud as any fan but that is to be expected as with any fan. Overrall impressed and would reccomend. Show details
Easy to put together, reliable & great value – Surprisingly powerful for such a cheap fan, easy to put together, feels well madeand doesn't feel like it's about to fall apart! On the loud side at full bore - but really only a problem if you're a light sleeper/easily annoyed. The speeds are easy to adjust and different enough for users wanting to change the power of the fan. Show details
Cheap and reliable – Excellent power and airflow and doesn’t make an annoying rattle like some of the other fans I’ve bought. This only costed me $9 so I was floored by the quality of it. The power lead is long enough to connect to a nearby outlet but keep an eye out cause it doesn’t reach particularly far if you’re planning to plug it in from across the room. Other than that, an affordable necessity for the sweltering heat. Show details
You get what you pay for – Adjustable height and angle give you options on how and where you can use the fan. Angling the fan head allows you to create an indirect breeze, which can be useful if the fan speed is too powerful for a direct breeze. On the noisier side for its price however that does not bother me. Show details
cheap fan that works well for a while – a cheap fan which it does work but sometimes can have some minor issues such as making a buzzing sound which was fixed when i cleaned the blades. Don't know what else to say expect that if you want a phone that last better look elsewhere due to the fact that my first click phone died and my current one is starting to have issues. Show details
Its a fan that is cheap – For the price you pay for the fan it doesnt matter if it falls apart or stops working. Its realitivy easy to assemble, turns on and blows air. End of story. If you want something that is going to give artic hurricanes then spend more then $14. But too be fair, I bought the same one last year and it lasted the hot season. Show details

DONT BUY – I bought this because it was cheap but it was an awful decision. The fan is horrible, it barely produces any kind of wind strength. The stand is not at all sturdy. If anything, I'm so relieved this product was discontinued. I wasted so much money and time just to get this fan, I've bought a $60 fan and invested and it was the best decision. Show details
For the price best product you can have – Bought this for 14.95 from Bunnings yesterday, fan blades looks cheaper and the plastic feels cheaper but still it does the job pretty darn good, easy installation and comes with guidance booklet, and the 3 speed works well, got the black color one and it looks pretty nice for the price, cant see this is really cheap when you see it at the first time out of the box. Cheap, does the job – Big fan of this fan. Does the job and for $9 you can't complain. Easy to set up, a few of the joints didn't align but with the help of a hammer they came right through. Would recommend to anyone on a budget. Had mine for a year and a half with no problems Show details
Cheap price but cheap product – This fan is good interns of power and output. It is a bit noisy but not too bad. The stand is awkward to get right and it seems flimsy when put together. We bought 2 of them and one has already started ‘creaking’ when it’s on oscillate which is annoying at night. Show details
Basic fan but it's quiet – Bought from Bunnings in summer 2017 after my last fan started making too much noise. This one is easy to assemble & clean. Even after almost a year of using every night, it's still quiet with none of the annoying clicks that so many other cheap fans make after a few uses. Very basic with no frills. Simply 3 speeds, adjustable height and tilt, and oscillation. Show details
Best value for $11.98 – Best value for money. Robust design. Have been buying fan from Kmart and all but click from Bunnings is far stronger than others. 13 months warranty for peace of mind. The base is strong. Speed settings satisfactory. Easy to assemble from box. Can’t expect anything else for more at this value. Show details
Far too noisy – This pedestal fan is not very tall. It is so noisy I can't hear the television when it's on. It certainly keeps us cool and was so cheap I had to give it 3 stars but probably is only worth 2 stars. I had a lot of trouble putting it together and had to take it back to Bunnings to be fixed. I do not recommend it. Show details
Rubbish : Doesn't work – Hi, I just bought it today on 22 Nov 2017. Bought it from bunnings for 28.98. Can you believe it that unit doesn't work. It's a simple installation. I tried everything. The fan doesn't work!! No more words i can say against this product. So please don't waste time on this product. Show details
Possibly dangerous – I bought my first Click fan at $11.30 ish at Bunnings Narrabeen a fortnight ago and then went back for a second last week. Last night our second one was overheating under the cowling that covers the motor, so badly that a burning plastic smell became overpowering and within about 2 hours we had to turn it off. We had intended to leave it on… Read more
all night and had planned to use in our granddaughter's bedroom overnight.
Just as well we tested it first.
I think the product should be recalled before a tragedy occurs.
I will return the fan to Bunnings asap .... possibly both fans!!
Take care everyone

Amazing Value, Good Fan – I was in my local Bunnings when I saw this fan on offer for $11-00 and I thought at this price it will make an excellent spare. It is now in use. It is quiet and does a most satisfactory job of cooling in our main bedroom. It is quiet, looks good and the switches feel positive. It was easy to assemble and it was good to see that the base is… Read more
secured by 4 cross-head screws. Likewise the very safe looking front grill is secured by way of a a small cross head screw.
The handbook is adequate. Has OK assembly details and warranty instructions.
But overall, at $11 dollars it won't matter if it only lasts one season. $11 is less than the cost of us going out for a coffee!
Worked well for 10 months – Bought this from Bunnings for $11 in February 2015. It worked well given it was only $11 but then it suddenly died last week. It lasted a total of 10 months. Bunnings provided a refund without hesitation. I opted not to get a replacement product as I wouldn't trust anything electrical that just stops working out of the blue. Normally it's the… Read more
pedestal of the fan that goes first in these cheap options but in this case it was the motor or at least something electrical. You indeed get what you pay for.
