little disappointed to see them discounted even further a couple of weeks later. As for the new unit, I’m not a fan of the “Revive Mode”; it feels gimmicky and unnecessary. I turn it off every time. The iron itself feels lighter and less solid than my original, and the moulding seam is visible, which makes it look a bit cheaper. I use it mainly for curling, but I find it drags slightly, so I’m still using my old one for now. This one is more of a backup for when the original finally gives up.

I bought the straightener on Amazon from Cloud Nine (they are the sellers) and they don't provide something as basic as an invoice on purchase. Amazon customer rep contacted them 3 times and 6 days later they still haven't sent an invoice. Will be returning the product if an invoice isn't shared soon as I cant register the product for the extended warranty (I can only imagine how nasty the customer service would be if you needed help)

minutes for perfect straight hair. I've had the muster, ghd but none compare to the Cloud 9. I use no serum product, just towel dry my hair the night before after I wash it and the next morning I start straightening. If I wash and want to straighten same day just a quick blow dry (usually 10min) first. I don't need to blow wave. My own hairdresser can't straighten my hair the way I do it after I get a cut and colour but then again she does use a GHD maybe that's why. Get it on special but it's worth every single dollar.

Almost a 5! – Was so excited waiting for my cloud nine to arrive.. On arrival couldn't wait to use it, I have to say it has fulfilled all my expectations. Glides through my hair and unlike most hair straightener I only had to have the temperature on 170 instead of normal 200 degrees.. Carrie’s on with the new one I purchased. And lo and behold it blew up and started to continuously beep. I’ve just sent that one back after two years of owning it. Just received an email stating that another replacement is on its way BUT will only hold the current warranty period. So 1 year!! I’m not impressed with this at all. I won’t be buying another once this one dies. I’m not one to make reviews but I’m disappointed in this outcome.

Amazing straightener for thick hair – I have long, thick, curly and frizzy hair so bought the Cloud Nine Wide Iron hoping to tame my hair. It it honestly amazing and produces such a sleek finish which I am definitely not used to. With this product your hair will be dead straight and shiny rather than a bit straight with frizz like others I have tried in the past. This flat iron by far is my favourite and I would recommend any day of the year!

Works like a charm – Super satisfied with how long it takes for the straightening, only about 20 mins for perfect hair, where it used to be around 1 hr. The heat it reaches is quite high, but its is controllable unlike GHD. You can control how much you want to burn your hair. It is easy to use, positive effects on my hair because I don't have to keep going over and over it again. If you have dark thick hair it is perfect for you.

Great Straightener – I have owned the Cloud Nine wide iron for a while now and am very happy with the product. I have very long hair that is quite volumous and I find the product easy to use. It heats up very quickly and is relatively quick in straightening the hair. I rarely have to go over the same area more than once. Would definitely recommend for those with long or thick hair.

so incredible! – with any other hair straightener it took me about 30-40 minutes to straighten my hair but with the wide cloud 9 it only takes me 5-10 minutes. saves me so much time and works so well!

Perfect for thick curly frizzy hair – Switched from ghd to cloud 9 about 5 years ago now and I will never go back!! The adjustable heat settings mean the user has more control and the wide paddle helps cut down on straightening time.

Amazing straightness but iron could last longer – The irons heat up super fast and the highest setting helps to keep my hair very straight in all conditions, including humidity and misty rain. I straighten my hair about twice a week (with touch ups in between) and my hairdresser always comments on how healthy it looks. Downsides are the price and longevity. I've only had mine for 2.5 years and they're already broken.

Alright – Almost instantly this straightener heats up and the settings make selecting the temp easy. I can straighten my sisters excessively thick hair in less than 15 minutes which is crazy ! However when i straighten my hair because it’s a wide iron it can be hard to reach the root\top of my hair. Honestly a good brand, straightener and design

Just perfect – This product takes no time to heat up, which means i can plug it in and get started without wasting anytime. I don't spend long making my hair straight compared to the thinner version, the thinner version is better at making waves. I find other straighteners to pull my hair or dry my hair out too much this glides through smooth and with ease and leaves a soft smooth finish that last for a few days.

Great for thick hair! – I love this straightener! I have really long thick hair and only takes me 20 minutes to do my hair, preciously with any other iron it would be 1 hour. Heats up super quick and never leaver your hair feeling burnt or dry.
