Awful chemical smell and taste makes this unusable for me – I find these dishwasher tabs are practically unusable due to an incredibly strong chemical smell (and taste) that follows everything that comes out of the dishwasher. Never again - the smell burnt my nostrils !!!! – First time purchase. Upon opening the bag, I almost fainted. The strong smell is unbearable. A full $33 bag of tablets its now sitting on the porch outside. I will give them a few days to breathe outside. Otherwise straight in the bin. Dreadful – Besides the fact that these tablets don't wash your dishes properly (you'll be rinsing everything by hand without fail), they coat all your dishes with their sickening, nausea-inducing perfume. product two-months ago, and still my wooden spoons contain the revolting, toxic cologne. I have a keep-cup I can't drink from anymore. I keep hoping the smell will eventually fade away, but every morning there it is in the lid of my cup, directly under my nose when I have the first sip of the day. That's really why I'm bothering to write this: Fairy Dishwasher tablets have ruined my morning coffee. I have to spring for another keep-cup. Think about that for a second: some dishwashing liquid ruined my dishes, made them stink.

The worst part is, so few people will bother to look up reviews of this product, instead they'll buy it because it's priced five-dollars cheaper than the other tablets at the supermarket.

marks just terrible, we thought the dishwasher was faulty , we tried finish quantum which were slightly better and then finish powder which actually worked ok but the dishes still weren't that clean and we had to rewash most of the time. We were seriously considering buying a new dishwasher and in a Last ditch hope after reading some positive reviews on fairy in particular the platinum , we gave them a go, my wife and I are blown away on how good they are,

the glasses sparkle like new, plates shinning and the cutlery is like new and the dishwasher is very clean with a nice smell , heavily stained pots sometimes still need hand washing as expected. We have recommended them to all our family and friends and they have been equally impressed, not sure why some give negative reviews about the Platinum they are fantastic I guess not everyone can be pleases , We have not tried the cheaper ones in the green packet and we don't intend on using them , we will stick to the platinum variety and stocked up on them we figured if you're on a winner don't change. Perfect clean every time Buy on special can be expensive when not on a sale as expensive as 75c per tab.

putting them in the machine...all to no avail. I read online that Finish had changed their formula to be kinder to the environment....but to the detriment of my dishes!!! So a change of brand was needed hence trying Fairy. I am totally over the moon with the performance of this product. It is just awesome. I have used an entire pack and am on the second. I use the same cycle most times on my Bosch dishwasher - Auto with hygiene activated and unlike the Finish comparable, Fairy does the job perfectly every time. And just as if that wasn't enough, the dishwasher is left smelling fresh and clean too. Hooray for Fairy!!! Absolutely reliable Not a thing

The best dishwasher tablet! – After having tried most dishwasher tablets and products alike, i was overjoyed when i used the Fairy original tablets and saw the results. This was the first time i’d not had to rewash dishes or that my glassware wasn’t left with any water marks at all. Fairy Tablets are now my go to product, I can’t fault it at all.

These Fairy Platinum tablets even clean the inside of the dishwasher – Having used a well known tablet (Finish) for years I was recommended Fairy Platinum tablets and have been very happy to continue to use same. Dishes are clean and glasses are sparkling and even the filter and inside the dishwasher don't seem to need cleaning as often as using the previous tablets. Purchased from Woolworths - I don't think the label reads Coles brand.

Awful – The smell is so strong from the unopened bag that it permeates the whole kitchen when the cupboard is opened. Dreadful chemical smell from the dishwasher..both during and after the cycle has finished. Dishes and glasses are tainted with the smell. Have used one tablet from the bag of 41. Horrible – Normally get finish tablets. Got these because they were on special. Ever since more than half the dishes are left dirty and a weird residue on all glasses. We have tried cleaning the dishwasher by taking our filters and cleaning them and running a dishwasher cleaner through it but still suing fairy our dishes are not being cleaned we are having… Read more

to either put them through several times or hand wash 60-80% of the dishes in each cycle. Would not recommend these at all. Even cheap supermarket brand tablets do a better job.

Horrible taste left on kitchenware – We have always used Finnish but bought this one because it was on sale and we got sucked in by the marketing. All of a sudden I can taste this soapy flavour in all our food because it’s ingrained itself on all the cutlery and crockery. Do not use this product.

Awful, permeating odor – The smell is just the worst; on china and cutlery it's bad enough but at least can be washed off - on anything plastic e.g. cutting boards, silicone cooking implements however it penetrates and renders them unusable. Would rate zero if I could. Show details

Often find the tablets stuck to various parts of the dishwasher undissolved – We have a Miele dishwasher that we generally use Finish Quantum tablets in. On occasion when the Fairy tabs are on special, we have given them a go. Each Time we have, there have been instances where we have found undissolved tablets in the dishwasher. Left horrible taste on cups and cutlery – I couldn’t work out why I had suddenly had this soapy taste in my food. It was the change in dishwasher tablets. DO NOT BUY Smell and taste are disgusting – These tablets leave a disgusting smell and taste on your dishes. I put parts from my coffee machine in the dishwasher and am unable to get the smell out of the milk frother part. jars and silicone items are now permeated with the worst chemical smell ever. I don’t even want to use the jars anymore because I don’t think it’s food safe. I can’t believe they still sell this, it can’t be good for you! Retuned it to Woolies and exchanged it for the Finish ones. More expensive but worth it.
