pocket based on my usage. He was honest in saying that after taking out those extras, there was probably not a better hospital basics that my current policy. A quick check later and Shannon got me on a basics hospital plan with the same coverage which included a dental extras to cover the full treatment costs rather than a % rebate job. Better package than I had at a cheaper rate per fortnight. Super friendly and couldn't recommend enough.

choose? How to choose? Googling, I came across Compare Health Insurance. Impressed with what I read, I left my contact details and received a call from Health Insurance Advisor Nathan Webb. Through the entire call, one that lasted almost 30 minutes, Nathan was very helpful, giving me detailed information about their services, searching and finding a provider that would provide the same cover I already had but at a cheaper premium (and the new provider also offered more than my original), organising the transfer of my insurance to the new provider. Nathan was both friendly and efficient when assisting me during the call. I value service most of all, and it's great service that I got from Nathan. So if you're looking for comparisons in health insurance providers and feel a little lost (easy to feel that way when it comes to insurance), I recommend Compare Health Insurance. And ask to speak to Nathan.

Unsolicited phone calls after "online" quote request – Terrible website! promises quick online quote, then instead I get unsolicited phone calls. I don't want to talk, I just want the quote. They kept trying to call despite me telling them via email not to call. Awful service. Just show me the quote online or email it to me. No need at all to keep calling.

Misleading – Was given misleading information about NIB health insurance policy by [Name Removed]. He said the policy included both emergency & non emergency ambulance when in fact it only covered emergency. Despite me giving him a credit card for payments, the quote he gave me was if payment was made from a bank account, not a credit card. He failed to pass on the bank account to NIB for receiving claim payments. He started the new policy on the wrong date

Matt was so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Not pushy at all but navigated a much better deal that suited exactly what our family needed. Wasn't aware there was even such a service like this, so very impressed!
