Super uncomfortable cardboard at the back cut through my skin every step destroys my feet and I blister for 1 week after wearing for 5 minutes. Super slippery in wet conditions and too narrow .. never again in my life. Cool shoes made by imbeciles.. Show details
Converse Run Star Hike Platform are extremely slippery. Very hazardous. DO NOT BUY – As the title states, if you buy these shoes you'd better have $50,000 saved for an operation. You will slip. You will fall. These shoes look grippy, but rest assured you may die on wet or dry slippery surfaces such as tiles, vinyl, hardwood floors, concrete and basically any other smooth surface. Honestly, any surface other than dry dirt is… Read more
hazardous and they should be pulled from the shelves immediately and customers fully reimbursed.
If you think I can handle Crocs because they get a little slippery in wet weather, you are seriously underestimating these Converse shoes. The slip hazard rating is 100x that of Crocs.
You have been warned!! Do not buy these shoes!
Also the returns policy with Converse is non-existent. I have 7 pairs of "Cons". I will never buy another pair.
Ordered on 10 January- 21 Days later & no shoes – Ordered shoes in store, as store was out of stock on 10th January. I received a shipping notification, however when I opened it it states that the item was not ready to be collected from converse and thus not shipped. I have sent 3 emails trying to ascertain when/ if the shoes will be shipped. No reply to any email in the past 21 days. No phone… Read more
number to speak to anyone in online Department. No way to seek a refund. This is possibly the worst customer care or service I have ever encountered. I don't think I have ever even written a complaint before- yet here I am. I will never buy from Converse again (not that a large company like Converse has any care about consumers like us). My daughter doesn't get her shoes, I'm out of pocket & all I have is generic email responses of "we will reply shortly".
Definitely not no-slip soles – My converse sneakers look lovely and fit well. However, there’s a lot of hype about the slip resistance and superior grip provided by the diamond tread and special material the soles are manufactured from. As I’m writing this review currently recovering from surgery to plate a broken leg, I’m not too confident of these claims. There was no trip or stumble - straight slip only. The advertised claims are very wrong. Show details
Converse platforms OX… don’t waste your money! – I brought both a black and white pair of converse platform OX and I was so disappointed. They are so uncomfortable, the material around the ankles was so hard it cut into my skin leaving cuts! Avoid these shoes like the plague!!!! Show details
The one or 2 thing`s that are WRONG with Converse – I have now had My Black Hi top Converse for 2 years now, I normally wear my other sneakers but most times Converse, They do have a nice look to themselves, But they tend to make my feet really sweaty and seem to cause them to stink., due to the how the shoes are made of mostly out of rubber for the toe part and the sides, the shoes traps heat in… Read more
in summer. Which they smell like my trash can now. I wash them but not too often I just let them to stink now because I am sick of it Converse are bad. I do not go without socks, I wear socks. so I need some better sneakers that do breath better like my Nike's. The shoe it`s self is nice with the feel.
Insoles have collapsed – The insoles of these shoes have collapsed. They provide no support. Feel like I am walking around in bare feet. Bad quality expected more from this brand. Expensive mistake Show details
Terrible customer service for faulty product – Great staff at Werribee store who tried to fight my corner when I wanted action after a pair of shoes that I brought lasted 4.5 months of not continuous wear before a hole appeared in the sole. Top management insisted nothing can be done even though I only purchased the shoes 4.5 months previously. Terrible customer service. Think again before spending your hard earned money on converse. Shockingly poor quality – We have had three pairs of converse classic trainers in our family now. None have last even 6 months. The trigger for this review is the latest pair, which have lasted six weeks before the sole is part detached from the rest of the shoe. It’s terrible quality, let alone for shoes that cost $120. Flipped off by employee – I drove into the carpark of DFO Canberra and got cut off by another drive who them flipped me off. After parking and making my way around the store, I entered Converse and noticed that the young blonde girl who flipped me off was working, she recognised me and refused to serve me at all. I even asked for help and she scoffed at me instead Poor service Show details

Great service on an Authentic Product – Went to DFO Morrabbin, Victoria, felt very welcome in converse store and ended up buying this pair of converse shoes. The girl in customer service was really patient with good knowledge of the products that helped make a better decision. Very happy about the purchase. You guys rock! Thanks.
