Credit Savvy has been accessing my credit report EVERY MONTH FOR YEARS - HOW IS THIS LEGAL? – There is something very DODGY about this company. I just discovered, due to a flag raised by the ATO, and at their behest that I check my credit and see if someone is trying to do something with my data. To my surprise, for literally years: CREDIT SAVVY HAS BEEN ACCESSING MY CREDIT REPORT CONTINUOUSLY EVERY MONTH. It started with an identity… Read more

verification and has continued by some unknown which shows up on my credit report as 'OTHER' - 'Industry' over 50 times.

It sounds like they are selling my data to someone, or someone is trying to do something with my information, when I have never used them as far as I know. What sort of business is this, and what actual business is it of theirs to be giving my information to someone without my knowledge?

I think someone should investigate them and pull their license if it can be shown that they are trading data without knowledge or consent. Consumers are entitled to get a free credit report every three months, so who then is paying to access mine every month on month?

I would like to see a representative from Credit Savvy come on here and explain the reasoning behind this, and whether or not it's standard practice by their Company or the industry at large?

Beware of Credit Savvy – It's not bad to get your credit score. Then they inundate you with emails daily. Plus it's hard to unsubscribe. I have tried 3 times and I am still getting emails even though it told me I was unsubscribed. People beware Show details

Invalid Information – These guys are not upto date or accurate, my credit rating has changed significantly and they show it as extremely low. Fact is it is average or above average due to finance being negotiated and paid out and time healing the record. Don't be scammed but incorrect information. Do your own research, go to the official credit reporting agencies for an accurate report. Show details

Peace of mind is so important – I put a stop on credit savy website as I had an incident that I thought was suspect. I contacted Credit Savy and with great speed a block was put on my Credit file. It was a tremendous relief to know that nobody can take out a loan in my name. Show details ·  1

Awesome service Credit Savvy is the best in the Business – Credit Savvy app is easy to navigate and gives UpToDate details of credit score. Everything is at your finger tips, unlike some agencies which charge money to give this information, they give you only one credit report free per year. Wit h Credit Savvy I could access it as much as I like. Keep up your good work. All the best in the future. Show details ·  2

Dishonest and devious. I will be reporting to the Financial Industry Ombudsman's Office – My credit score has gone from very well (786) to very poor (469) within one day? According to Credit Savvy, I have defaulted on repayments? What repayments? I don't even own a credit card, have no mortgage, no rent, no car payments, no Zippay or after pay NOTHING!! All I have is one personal loan payment, which I pay off each fortnight through… Read more

salary sacrificing and that is definitely NOT in arrears (I pay this off fortnightly/not monthly so it's actually ahead in payments) I want this fixed ASAP!!! As for Credit Savvy, the website is nothing but ads/clickbait encouraging you to take out loans.........NOT GOOD ENOUGH. If my credit score has dropped, I would like to know WHY??? GRRR!

Good safety net, but flawed ratings – My wife and I have had joint financials for the past 10 years. As former Optus customers, we decided it was prudent to follow Scott Papes advice, and use the Credit Savvy block & monitor. So how is it that my wife's rating has gone up from 895, and mine has stayed at 895? We share joint everything, and I pay $4000 per month off the house. Wife gets the rating upgrade, and I get nothing!! Really?? Show details

Very poor service – Very poor service. Couldn't remember password so went through the steps and created a new one.Returned to log in only to be advised that password was incorrect and I could not log in. I initially thought I may have done something incorrectly so proceeded to create another password only to achieve the same outcome. At this point in time I cannot log in and am very disappointed with the poor service provided. Show details

Keep tabs of credit applications – I’d rate Credit Savvy highly. With the high number of data breaches, it’s best to keep on the front foot when it comes to ensuring your credit rating. Let’s face it, a credit provider will never ask you if you’ve applied for credit, so Credit Savvy keeps tabs on your file. It’s not overkill to check your file weekly - saves a lot of stress! Show details ·  1

Hopeless - if you want you’re credit ban to stay indefinitely you’re in the right place – Messaged the support team about issues with releasing the credit ban. Bit of back and forth then radio silence. The two other bureaus released the credit ban within the day. Still haven’t heard anything back from Credit Savvy. Very hopeless! Show details

Credit savvy enquiry reduced credit score! – Made some simple credit loan enquiries to compare rates only. I found out a month later, my two enquiries have been lodged reduced my credit score ! This is despite credit savvy saying it doesn’t effect credit scores. Complete lies and a scam. Don’t even waste your time with them. The rates are pretty pathetic too.  Show details
