would cost to also steam clean a rug I had that I wanted to utilise in my new home, he advised it would be an additional $30 cash which I thought was a great deal.

Boy was I wrong.

I laid out the rug in my new home to find it had not been steam cleaned at all. Still exactly the same as two years ago, same discolouration and stains, did not feel or smell fresh, no dampness, no evidence it was ever steam cleaned. Gary and his steam cleaner looked me in the eye and lied to my face when I asked them on the day of cleaning if the rug had been cleaned and they said yes.

Contacted Gary the business owner via Facebook Messenger only to be told they had definitely steam cleaned the rug and that he had taken a loss on my clean. How is his poor business acumen my responsibility? Would not come to rectify the issue by cleaning the rug, and will not refund the extra money he took for a service he did not provide. He literally argued with me, accused me of making up falsehoods to get $30 back even though I sent him photos of a very dirty rug in my new home. And then subsequently blocked me so I can’t even chase him up. Going to be reporting him to the ATO for cash payments and Consumer Affairs.

Don’t waste your time engaging Gary and his team, he takes no accountability for not completing the work he has quoted, then accuses you falsely when you call him out on it and has no problem lying to your face and taking your hard earned money as if he did.

UPDATE: His end of lease clean is a sham as well. Didn’t clean the kitchen or the bathroom at all according to the agent condition report, and when I called him to see when he would return, said he wasn’t going to come and complete the job he was supposed to do and I could go and leave my “one star review” all I like.

Literally claims Bond Back Guarantee but the only thing guaranteed is Gary doing a runner with your money.

Great job cleaning our small flat – Gary did a great job cleaning our flat - he was on time and ensured no areas were missed. The carpet was left clean which was our main worry for an end of lease clean.

Unprofessional and very inadequate job – We were disappointed with some of the finer detail of the work completed. We will be getting a quote to have the carpet cleaned again. And I will be returning to complete jobs 1/3. Your overall quality of work and lack of professionalism were not appreciated. I suggest you take some time to consider that you are working with people during a very stressful time in their life and consider making some changes to your work standards.
