Manpreet did a wonderful job within the time frame allowed. My place is so much nicer now, and I now feel much more comfortable in my home. Thank you Manpreet for all of your help and kindness. Even my Friends were amazed at how well you did. I would also like to mention Taffia who I spoke with on the phone, and who kindly organised and who worked so quickly to find someone, even though I am outside the usual area. Would highly recommend.
Maid to Clean have always been very helpful and willing to offer any advice I needed. They certainly want to keep their customers happy. My cleaner, Mihindu, is the one and only cleaner I have had and asked them to make sure he is always allocated to me

I was allocated an AMAZING cleaner. She lived locally to me and did a fantastic job. She was new to the company and had advised Maid to Clean that due to family commitments she only wanted local jobs. She ended up quitting bc MTC started sending her to jobs more than 50km away… They wouldn’t negotiate with her bc they were too short staffed. Lots of cleaners quit due to MTC treating them really poorly. After my amazing cleaner quit, I was back to the passing parade of terrible cleaners who either didn’t have a clue, showed up late or sometimes not at all. My final clean was the straw that broke the camels back. Young girl, possibly a student, turned up without products and spent two hours doing absolutely nothing. When she said she was ready to go, I came out of my office to walk her out and that is when I noticed that she had not touched the kitchen at all. There were coffee rings and crumbs on the bench and the sinks had not been touched. When I asked her what was going on, she said that she didn’t know that she had to clean the kitchen. [Content Removed]? When you get a cleaning service, the most important things are the bathrooms and the kitchen so how on earth did she think that she did not need to clean the kitchen?? When she left, I called the company. They pretty much said that they didn’t have anybody else in the area and they could not provide me a Cleaner any more. After over four years… I honestly wouldn’t use this company for your cleaning Service and also, if you are a cleaner, I would avoid working for them because they don’t treat you very well. Last I heard is that they were cashing in on NDIS jobs where they would get paid and because the clients weren’t paying them directly, they got away with doing really shoddy work. If you value your home and expect to get a good job done for your money, I would try and find a local Cleaner on Airtasker or similar. You will get a better job and it will be much cheaper.

I was very clearly assigned someone who was untested, nor had ever done cleaning before. Here are just a few examples (didn't wipe down bedside tables when cleaning the room, didn't clean toilet properly) but there were many others. I chose Maid To Clean for someone experienced as they were apparently best, but I got the opposite.

chose to pay more for maid to clean because of their amazing reputation on product reviews and google and I wanted to make sure I could spend the day working, not managing an end of lease clean, but it’s pretty clear they put much more effort into managing their reviews than anything else.
Their booking form is confusing and didn’t work on mobile, but you don’t know until the near the end of the form. Ok, they’re cleaners, not web developers. Tried on desktop and worked eventually.
A day after I submitted the form, I get an auto email that sounded like my booking was confirmed. I reply, they say no, not yet, in a couple days. They get back to me after the weekend, a few days before I needed the clean and confirm. Every other cleaner I’ve dealt with confirms within 24 hours.
On the website they say they have honest pricing, that all you need to do is tell them how to access the property and they’ll pick up the keys. But that is far from the truth.
Their start time was sometime between 8-10am and I had to be there when they arrive, at a property I don’t live in anymore. I had to ask for them to call me 30 mins before arrival.
In morning, I get the call, get to property and one cleaner arrives at 9:40am. I help him find a parking spot. He tells me I have to pay for parking because he’s just a subcontractor and maid to clean don’t pay him properly and won’t reimburse him for the parking fee. I figure out the parking, help him take all his stuff up to the apartment. He gets started at about 10am. I leave and he tells me he’ll call me when he’s finished.
He calls me at midday and says he’ll be done in 30 mins. He started cleaning at 10am and he’ll be done at 12:30. I think maybe someone else showed up. I get there and it’s just been him the whole time. I’m shocked. He says have a look at the place. I have a quick look, but it is not my job to manage their subcontractors and he doesn’t even get that less than three hours cleaning in this situation isn’t going to be good enough.
He says he’ll start mopping the place, and he’ll be done in five minutes. It’s a big one bedroom and only the bedroom is carpet. Once again, shocked.
It’s Friday, I have work to get done and have to get the keys to the agent on Monday. I’ll deal with this when I have a couple hours spare on the weekend. I took some all purpose spray and a few cloths. I spent over an hour spot cleaning the place and probably could have spent another hour or two properly cleaning the place if I had the time and better cleaning products. Zero attention to detail. See the photos for a sample of their ‘premium five star’ cleanness.
I hand the keys over to the agent. The agent sends me about 20 photos of things that weren’t clean enough. Maid to clean were quite responsive in this part. Sent a cleaner to pick up the keys from the agent and mostly did the job. I don’t know how long they spent cleaning the place. Maybe an hour.
The agent gets back to me a couple days later. They’re still not happy with the walls in the entry or the oven and will charge me $170 to get their preferred cleaner to finish it to their standard.
So it’s cost me $535 + $170 and about eight hours of my time so Maid to Clean to do about four hours of cleaning. Moving is stressful and expensive enough without this rubbish.
Last email I got from them was a condescending copy and paste generic customer service email about its ‘important to us that you receive a high-quality service that meets your expectations.’ Which is infuriating when it’s been anything but.
My recommendation is to go direct to a cleaner, not this very expensive middle company that adds no value and can’t manage the standard of work of their subcontractors.

clean done by the team of Stivan and Krunal. So efficient, thorough and pleasant. Plus kudos to the scheduling team -Rose and Mapa - who made the replacement process seamless. Highly recommend!
Follow-up · I'm still very happy. Replacements have been rare but they were handled rapidly and efficiently by the admin team, on the same day as the scheduled service. Once I had 2 cleaners and they did the job in half the time, which minimised disruption from the slight schedule change. Cleaners are always quick, thorough and consistent.

Follow-up · To be fair, the quality was not super high (very surface level clean from multiple people tried) and I felt pressured to do this review as they said they would pay my cleaner more money if i did. We no longer use this company.
Maid to Clean provides a great service. Our former cleaner has now moved on, so we had a new cleaner (Raki). Raki did a brilliant job. He was very enthusiastic, polite and thorough. Our house is "shining".
Follow-up · I continue to be delighted with the service we receive. Cleaners are very thorough, polite and enthusiastic in doing a good job. I pay for 2 hours of cleaning floors and benches, dusting other surfaces - bathrooms, kitchen, dining room etc. etc. They bring their own supplies.

Unfortunately the first cleaner they sent cleaned like a teenager who had better things to do - a quick wipe of everything then grabbed her bags, said she was done and headed out the door despite her not having worked for the two hours I paid for. Terrible! I had a booking and on the day was told it would be delayed 2 hours then at the time when they were due they cancelled the clean. Would not use this company again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Follow-up · The reason given was that they didn't have anyone available at the time. They offered to reschedule but I needed the job done that day. They did contact me and offered me a credit.

This week we had Kerry, who was absolutely brilliant, she went the extra mile to make sure everything was super spotless. It took a little longer than she expected (due to dog hair being annoyingly sticky) but there were no shortcuts, no complaints, she took such good pride in her work and I would love to be assigned her every time, although everyone who had cleaned has been great.

Careese has cleaned our house a few times already now and she has always done a great job, no complaints! She is very polite and takes her time to do whatever has been asked of her and more! She takes initiative to do other little things thats not even asked of her. For e.g, folding clothes lying on the bed. We really appreciate her cleaning our place. A big thank you to her!
