I would never purchase this product again. Technical issues, even when the product is under warranty, are incredibly difficult to sort out. You can't talk to anyone directly when there is a technical issue. You can only send emails to the technical support and await responses. These responses can take minutes to hours. and often much longer. It is almost impossible to trouble shoot a technical problem with small children when you have to deal with technical issues in such a manner. You send an email, then a considerable time later they respond and ask you a little question, and you respond again. This goes on and on. Sometimes their questions don't make any sense leaving you wondering what you are supposed to do. It generally takes countless emails to sort out a simple issue. It has taken me hours, often days, to get the monitor working again after it has stopped working for some minor reason. For that time baby is un monitored !!! My monitor currently isn't working again and hasn't worked for weeks now, which started after changing our home internet. It's likely something simple but the process of sorting it out is so time consuming and clumsy it is preventing me from sorting it out in a timely fashion.

TERRIBLE product back and fourth to customer service for MONTHS with no fix, keeps dropping out during the night have to reboot the whole thing it defeats the purpose of a safety camera when it just stops working therefore no alerts to any dangers which is the literal reason for it. alerts when the camera detects a child. With AI mode off (which is the only option without paying for a subscription) all the alerts fire independently, even when there is no child in the camera view.
Hours since my subscription lapsed and I've gotten hundreds of critical alerts from the sleep sensor, and temperature and humidity alerts too. The alert spam makes the product essentially unusable without a subscription.
It's not exactly a scam, but it is terrible value. The subscription model is annoying but it makes sense if it gives you more cloud storage, or features that require additional ongoing costs. But this AI mode is an integration of local on device features and sensors... There's no additional cost to the vendor to run it, and that means this is a money grabbing ploy to ensure the expensive hardware you bought remains useful only with a subscription.
We're probably just going to turn the sleep pad sensor off now. What a waste of money.

detection were moved behind a subscription paywall. These are not premium add-ons. These are fundamental monitoring features.
Once the subscription model was introduced, the product essentially became a very basic baby monitor unless you continue paying monthly fees. Without the subscription, there is honestly no meaningful difference between this device and a basic $60 monitor. That is extremely disappointing considering the original purchase price.
As for the subscription itself, it is not worth the value. The added cost does not justify what you receive in return.
To make matters worse, the app system now frequently goes down. For a baby monitor, reliability is critical. Parents rely on these systems for peace of mind. Constant app instability completely undermines that trust.
Instead of focusing on monetising previously free features, the company should prioritise product quality, system stability, and meaningful innovation. When a product is genuinely good and clearly differentiated, customers will stay. Removing features and pushing subscriptions only drives customers away.
Very disappointing overall. I would not recommend it.

will revert to tell me she’s breathing fine in the following seconds.. just in time for me to recover from the shock of waking up to a false critical alarm. Other times it continues to tell me she is not breathing while I’m watching her take deep breaths on the camera. This has caused us so much unnecessary stress and if anything has made me unperturbed when it comes to critical alerts.
I also have to close and reopen the app several times a day because it freezes. This could be our wifi (although I don’t think so), however I would definitely lean towards something that is not so reliant on a good internet connection.
Customer service is quick to respond but not helpful. They really just send you a list of troubleshooting ideas that you’ve probably already tried.
On top of everything, it’s one of the most expensive monitors on the market and the. You have to pay for a subscription to get the full experience.
The worst part is that they boast 4.4 star reviews on their website from 2,500+ people. I was led to believe that this was a recommended and trusted product whereas the reviews on this website would confirm otherwise.

easy having the app on your phone and we also love the features including in particular the crying notifications and sleep reports. We also love that you can really easily share the app with family members or other carers so they can view the monitor if they're looking after him (and we can check in too while we're out). Now we're back to using Cubo again, and every morning and night we can watch our child wake up and see when he sleeps, etc. I don't understand the negative reviews because the Cubo AI Plus is the most advanced and user-friendly baby monitor, with excellent customer service. a new mum, not having a baby monitor is frightening! - the AI components don’t work: my son measured at 10 meters in height. - The lullaby schedule function doesn’t work at all. - The app will occasionally not work and freezing.
The only got thing is the temperature part and monitoring your baby which you can save so much money on with another product on the market.

Would not recommend this product, continually drops out of wi fi. Then broke after two years, so I paid over $100 for Cubo Ai to fix it, and then 8 months later it breaks again and the new warranty was only 6 months! Untrustworthy company. I bought it for my first son because it tracked sleep and detected rollovers, however since then, the company has made those features premium, so they’re only accessible with a paid subscription to the app. I don’t know how they have gotten away with taking away the features of a product that people have already paid for.

This product has exceeded my expectations. It alerts me when she cry’s , room temp , blanket on face feature . I have can play her music and sounds through the camera . The camera also has a light great in the middle of the night .

Contacting their customer service team, is an absolute joke! They beat around the bush and don’t provide troubleshooting tips. They only advise customers are required to pay for the repairs or return the faulty monitor and they will send a “refurbed” one out which you again have to pay for. So they pretty much take your $400 monitor for free, refurb it and sell it off to desperate families that need a working monitor.

Waste of money/unreliable/unsafe – Monitor is completely unreliable. Time taken to connect to see image is unacceptable. In single storey house, good internet. It shouldn’t take as long as it does. Image quality and audio is fine. Absolute waste of money for the price we paid. It’s unsafe when you want to be able to view child immediately.
