DO NOT USE CURTAIN CLEANERS CANBERRA I contacted Curtain Cleaners Canberra in mid-January 2025 - I asked that they collect my curtains and steam clean them whilst my house was being decorated. The curtains were collected as planned, and I was advised that they would be returned in approximately two weeks (but that it might take a bit longer). Full payment was taken up-front. Two months later - after chasing... my curtains were returned. They were damp and crinkled in black bin-liner bags. It was clear that they had simply been put into a washing machine. One set has shrunk and is ruined, and the other has black staining which was not present when the curtains were collected. (I hung the curtains myself. I was so despondent with the service at this point that I did not want the representative here longer than was needed.) The invoice is from Diana Maintenance. If you are reading this review, please also look at Diana Maintenance reviews - I wish I had done so before I handed over thousands of dollars worth of curtains and $600. There are many negative reviews, commenting on similar experiences from what is clearly a company adept at scamming its customers - providing an unacceptably low level of service. I called Diana Maintenance to seek a refund and was told that they do not provide assurances on the services they provide - that they are not responsible for ruined curtains, or returning curtains considerably less clean than when they left the house. I always look at reviews before choosing a service provider, and did so in this case, but found nothing relevant to CURTAIN CLEANERS CANBERRA. I was unusually rushed when I chose this company - it seems so clear in hindsight... with a very ordinary website and AI generated images that they are not a serious service provider. I also did not see the connection with Diana Maintenance until the curtains were collected and I was left with an invoice. Hopefully this review will save others the frustration and disappointment. My curtains have been ruined, and I have paid $600 for the privilege. Please do not use this company.
