Blockout curtains turn to dust.
After six months in a bit of sunlight, theses expensive blockout curtains look wonderful from the inside but makes your house look like a meth lab from the outside, not to mention the white dust which can't be good for your health. No warranty offered, they are aware of the problem they just sell it anyway. Purchased 10 curtains for the windows, spent weeks getting the plastic smell out of the house which the backing creates in the beginning as it bakes in the sun, getting the creases out initially, and of course the waste of money.

I ordered ‘white’ curtains from ‘catch’. When received it was not white, they admitted to making a mistake but would not refund! The worst customer service
Last year I bought two white linen curtains from Curtain Wonderland in Rockhampton. I have just taken them down to wash and the heading stiffening material has disintegrated into thousands of little plastic pieces. They were not exposed to sun or weather.
Very upsetting given they were expensive.
Terrible customer service
I bought a roller blind from Bundall store. I asked staff if this blind will fit in my window(5mm smaller than blind size), she said yes, it will fit. Unfortunately it didn’t fit in. I took it back to the store, and I mentioned it. She said she didn’t say that and she doesn’t remember.
Also I didn’t have same credit card I paid, so I asked if I can get refund in cash or different card(I understand that refund to same card is the store policy), and she told me she doesn’t want to loose her job, she has a mortgage etc. This is not a professional at all.
Absolutely disgusting customer service
A contractor consultant came to my home early May to measure and quote on two curtains. When they arrived on 9th July both were made incorrectly due to both consultant and factory error. Curtains are made overseas and take 6-8 weeks from date of order to date of installation. I was asked to check measurements myself for a remake. Sorry but that is not my job as a customer. Then a consultant came out, after cancelling an appointment the previous day at short notice, and refused to check measurements despite being told by Curtain Wonderland that...he would. A few days later a consultant who was organised to arrive at 2pm asked at 11.30 that morning for me to take and to send pictures. My confusion was addressed at 2.45pm when he still hadn't shown up. I had rearranged business meetings to accommodate this appointment. I was told that he was stuck in traffic, despite having my phone number, I wasn't advised. I had to attend meetings at 3pm so couldn't wait. However, another employee of Curtain Wonderland head office told me later in the day that this consultant told them it wasn't his responsibility to do the measures and that Curtain Wonderland needed to get someone from their company to do it. That told me he never intended to attend the scheduled appointment, hence him wanting me to send photos. I have requested a refund in accordance with the ACCC guidelines but that is being met with extreme opposition. Once this Company has your money all decency and customer services goes out the door. I am a business owner and never would I treat a customer so badly. I will progress this matter through the legal channels and I am quite happy to see them in court if they don't refund my money.
After only one year one set of curtains have a disintegrating heading and two sets are developing numerous holes.
On 17 May I emailed Curtain Wonderland expressing dissatisfaction, with photos of the problems - no response. On 7 June I used the ‘Feedback’ option on the website to repeat my dissatisfaction and to ask for replacement/ compensation - again no response.

Lovely displays and Friendly Staff
Went in to the Casula branch with my mother to buy some curtains for her to replace the old ones with. Staff were incredibly helpful and patient when it came to helping us with fabric and size. Store had a great range of curtains on display and were very accommodating with showing us the range they offered. Would definitely recommend for shoppers to purchase at the Casula branch specifically after my great interaction with them.
Poor instruction, terrible customer service.
Installed 1 of 4 curtains no thanks to curtain wonderland. The instructions are poor with pictures that are too small to see. When blown up the pictures a a pixelated blur. I made a special trip to the store for help and received condescending misinformation.
Uninterested service rep, poor professional service, lack of follow up
I had a very similar negative experience than Jenny from Brisbane, but mine was in Cairns. I bought wrong sized curtains (250cm drop instead of 220cm) and wanted to exchange them for same priced shorter curtains. I even offered to pay the difference or service fee, if any applies. All is original packed (untouched) but the rep refused with the excuse that she can't enter it in the system. Funnily she could return a faulty packed curtain without system entry. I had very much the impression she is avoiding any additional work as she is leaving th...e store. I contacted the head office with several emails and calls to nicely and professionally ask for customer service but nobody ever replied. They simply ignore customer requests as a company strategy. The worst customer service in store and from a head office I have ever experienced. Just not right!

We ordered curtains 11 months ago. They were wrong size and length when arrived.
They have been and replaced curtains 2 times and been 3 times to try and get creases out of curtains, these curtains were over $1500 for 1 window and 1 sliding door, so not cheap. But the fabric is shocking, the creases just won’t come out and they think this is acceptable.

Good curtains but Shocking Customer service in maroochydore !! Would not recomend.
Issues with customer servise. We baught curtains and they forgot 3 brackets. All good so we went back in to get them and had to argue with her as they had none for another 2 months and was up to us to order online else where . She said " i have been working here for 4 years " as i explained what brackets we needed. Very Fustrating. In the end she had different brackets in the back of the shop we could of used in the first place.
Head Office doesn't return my calls
I bought a faulty product, returned to store, given credit to use when I wanted a full refund, told to contact head office and have left 3 messages and no call back. Local store was friendly however I believe when a product is clearly faulty I deserve a full refund.

A Sales Consultant came to our home to quote for sheer vertical blinds. We asked for pure white blinds and was shown a sample but it was not held up to the window. When the blinds were installed and the light filtered through them they were pink/cream. I asked for them to be changed or refunded and they refused saying I was shown a sample. so hard luck. Not their problem, even though I was mislead.
Their customer service is disgraceful, it took two months to respond to my complaint and they do not care about customer satisfaction. They t...ake your money, give you a product you did not ask for and are not willing to refund when they should do. They have breached the consumer law on so many levels. I have reported them to the Office of Fair Trading and they still do not care. The next step is Queensland Civil and Administrative Commission to try and get our money back. Avoid the hassle and shop with an Australian company who care.
Extremely aggressive staff member
I bought some pinch pleat curtains from the Jindalee store and within approx 8 months the lining behind the pleats started to crumble and fall off every time I opened the curtains.
I went back to the Jindalee store to discuss this problem with them and the woman that works there instantly became on the defensive and aggressive,raising her voice at me and asking where was my receipt and sprouting about the ACC... Why say 3 to 4 weeks on orders when you can not fill the orders in that time. Be up front and say 2 to 3 months
I want to know how you can get away with not refunding customers money. I purchased a quilt cover online and what was delivered was completely different to the picture on your website, and then you refuse a refund because you don't refund bedding due to "health reasons"! It's still in the original packaging. Your store policies are illegal in Australia. I want my money back.

This is all lip service to make your company look good. I've already spoken to the manager at head office who has all my details and has already refused my refund. If you want them speak to her.Clearly your management don't communicate with each other. Or maybe.. Just refund my money without all this PR nonsense!!
