Cyanergy - SLA Heat Pump Hot Water System – I am extremely happy with the service and prompt delivery and installation of the Heat Pump this morning. Cyanergy's hot water consultant, Riaz, has been most helpful in making this installation possible at very short notice. Show details

In January our air conditioning pipe for condensatio running away burst at the join due to faulty workmanship. We called our plumbing company who also did a lot of warranty work for cyanergy to see if he could find the problem as water had seeped through into our lounge room ceiling and also stained the roof. This was reported to cyanergy with… Read more
photos as proof of what had happened. This was a warranty claim and the plumbing bill should have been paid by cyanergy. They have given me the run around and not don anything about this claim. The plumbing company have now handed the account over to a debt collector and as it is in our name has given us a bad credit rating. I paid the bill in full on Friday as had received another email and the bill from plumbing company. I got on to Midea air conditioning and they advised Yassin from cyanergy to get in touch with me and get this sorted out, but all to no avail. I have reported this to VEU and ESS of Victoria who are now dealing with this claim. Cyanergy do not answer my calls or emails so I have been left with no alternative than to start legal proceedings agains them. They were great for a start but customer support is non existant and I would NEVER EVER recommend anyone getting anything done through them. They take your money on the day the job is completed and from there on NOTHING. THIS IS THE WORST COMPAY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. ANYONE THINKING OF USING THEM, PLEASE THINK AGAIN AS ONCE THE JOB IS DONE THAT IS IT, YOU CANNOT GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM AS THEY DO NOT ANSWER YOUR EMAILS OR TELEPHONE CALLS OR MESSAGES. THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED WITH THIS COMPANY AND THEIR AFTER SERVICE AND SUPPORT IS NON EXISTING.
Shame there isn’t a minus star ! Terrible service. Our $40,000, 3 battery system doesn’t do what it’s claimed to do. We’ve had our system for over two years and it’s not switching over to battery if there’s a power failure. We own a small caravan park in the country so if we don’t have power we have no water ie.. no showers toilets etc. We have a… Read more
disabled tenant who needs power constantly. Countless phone calls over this time. I even emailed the CEO and Marketing Manager - neither answered!! No-one cares. They took 6 months to get it working! We’re still waiting !
Paid deposit to do a job on Nov 2025. Job hasn’t even started and they cancelled my job on Feb 2026. Trying to get a refund and the company went into liquidation. What a scam

The heat pump unit is not functioning properly. It is excessively noisy, with a noise level exceeding 60 decibels, and it fails to reach the set temperature of 60°C. Even when the temperature is reset, it drops back down to around 50°C within a couple of days. The compressor runs almost continuously. When the temperature drops to 35–36°C, it… Read more
takes 4–5 hours to recover and reach 50°C. After a shower, the temperature drops to 35–36°C again, making the water cold and unsuitable for a proper shower.
I have notified Afnan about this issue, but there has been no response from her or her team.
Poor experience – I have installed 4 split units from the company in October 24. The installation was not done professionally. I think installers were trainee. The installer removed the evaporative cooler pipes from ducts but forgot to put it back. I have to spend out of pocket $200 to get that fixed (later reimbursed after long debate). Secondly after a week the… Read more
unit in living area started leaking inside called them to fixed. after 2 weeks the second unit started leaking the water as not properly sealed. Third unit i am unable to figure out where the water pipe is connected which is a big concern as they may have forget to drill it out and the water is leaking inside. I have called them to come and fix this. Please spend some reasonable money on different companies or do a review check before going with any of the companies. I hope there is a way i can get system un-installed and have money back and go to some other company

They send kids to do a man's job! – The worst company l have ever had to deal with! They send apprentices that have no idea what they are doing, broken gas lines, big holes in my wall, water leaks, they have been back 3 times and still haven't fixed the problem. I don't know which company that they use to do their plumbing jobs , some guy called Kaleb is the boss but he only… Read more
sends kids to do the work. Cyanergy, if you're really concerned about the quality of your products then find better plumbers!!!
NINE DAYS WITHOUT WATER AND COUNTING – We have now been without hot water for 9 days, and there is still uncertainty about when Cyanergy will be sending out a replacement unit. When I first called to report the problem they wouldn't believe that it was the unit's fault and tried to say it was my fault that the unit was leaking (I only got it last year) and they wouldn't send out… Read more
someone to repair it, but said I needed to get my own plumber out and that if he could prove that it was an issue with the unit then they would send someone out. Well within the same day I had done all that, and though the plumber replaced the valve it didn't fix the problem, and the plumber confirmed the fault is within the unit (and he didn't want to open it up and risk voiding the warranty - not that cyanergy seem interested in the warranty anyway...) I had to call cyanergy several times across the week, always spoke to someone different who seemed to have no idea what was going on, and never once heard any progress update until yesterday (Friday) when they said that they'll hopefully send someone out on Tuesday. That will be 12 days without hot water (we've got 2 toddlers, so no laundry/dishwashing/baths etc. at home is unacceptable for that long) and that's hoping/assuming they actually come! Everyone has told me how ridiculous this is, but Cyanergy obviously holds all the power and doesn't seem too worried about us waiting. There are many companies that offer heat pump schemes - go with one that actually cares about their customers and won't just forget about you the second they've got their money!
Sorry to break this to you but Cyanergy is liquidated. I lost nearly 3 grand.liquidator won't even send me a claim form. Show details
STAY AWAY..☠️..I am facing very bad experiences with this company for my solar battery installation. the CEO [Name Removed] today(06/03) to get some resolution. Still waiting for a reply. If any one had a bad experience with this company, please suggest me how to proceed further. People who are thinking to go with company, first call their customer care no-1300 198 955 first and see if it get answered. For the last one month I was trying to contact in this no, but were not answered not even once, even if we schedule for a call back, they don't call you.
Over a period of months Cyan Energy proposed a Solar Panel and battery solution to reduce electricity costs at our premises. We agreed on an amended proposal. Cyan pressured for payment of the total amount prior to commencement of work. We resisted this and agreed only to pay $4,500 initially and the remainder upon delivery of the materials. The… Read more
materials arrived approximately the same time as the installers, who advised they were unable to install on our roof. (despite several responses from to on the type of roof, and obviously from Google Maps.) Some two weeks went by, and Cyan Energy then advised they were unable to complete their contractual obligations. They also advised that a refund would be forthcoming. It is not possible to talk to anyone at Cyan Energy. All calls go to Voicemail and are rarely returned. I have now made 5 calls seeking their response The only response was an email two weeks ago from someone in their accounting department, who promised to investigate and push it along. There is no need to push anything along, simply return our deposit. In the meantime, we have most of the materials stored in our garage, and these won't be released until payment has been made Our next step will be to VCAT. Use this company at your peril
Signed up with Cyanergy for the Government Rebate Program to replace my old Ducted Gas Heating System with a Rinnai Airconditioning System. Though I had to wait a while for the system, due to out of stock of the system as the demand was high. Eventually the system was installed 2 weeks before Christmas. The team of technicians arrived early and installed the system and cleaned up in less than 6 hours. It is running well, just in time for the hot days.

My first contact from Cyanergy Pty Ltd was Mr Arifur Rehman. I got them to replace my old System with new 7.125kW Panels and 13.3kW Alpha Ess Battery. The installation crew was very professional and worked as a good team. I have no hesitation to recommend this company, specially am pleased with Arifur Rehman's services. They set the time frame and worked accordingly as planned. Show details

Our experience with Cyanergy and the Smart Lifestyle Australia heat pump installation has been extremely poor. The initial installation was structurally unsafe, non-compliant, and caused damage to our property. The installer from Cyanergy installed our Smart Lifestyle Australia heat pump on an area where half the footprint sat on an existing… Read more
concrete pathway and the other half sat directly on bare soil.
To “level” the uneven ground, the installer poured uncompacted crushed rock beside the path and positioned a thin concrete pad across the two substrates. No compaction, preparation, or engineering considerations were applied.
To further compensate for the uneven base, the installer placed timber shims under the unit— an unsuitable, non-compliant method for supporting a load-bearing appliance. As expected, the slab settled unevenly, causing the hot water unit to lean into our new metal cladding, creating pressure dents and damage to the exterior wall.
Despite raising concerns at the time and offering solutions such as cutting the existing concrete path or pouring a new slab, the installer dismissed these options and continued with an improper installation. This later resulted in the unit leaning into our cladding and causing damage.
During the same visit, the installer also discharged approximately 60 litres of water under our house — an action that was unnecessary, unauthorised, and caused avoidable structural impact to the timber stumps. We reported this to Cyanergy and were told the matter would be followed up internally, but we have never been informed of what actions, if any, were taken.
Another warranty reinstallation visit was scheduled to fix the slab issue, but the installer came 7 hours late with no notice, damaged our house cladding due to unauthorised drilling while rerouting drainiage pipe, and incorrect attempts at repair of leveling the slab by replacing timber shims with pieces of cement sheet (which weren't effective, and the slab cracked in half after a week later).
We again had to arrange the third reinstallation visit, with the agreement that we would pour a new, properly supported, reinforced concrete slab, and Cyanergy would reinsall the unit and cover all plumbing rerouting costs under warranty once the slab cured for two weeks. We had to challenge Cyanergy on this point, as they initially insisted over the phone that we should pay for the plumbing rerouting ourselves, despite the fact that the need for this work arose due to their faulty installation. Even after curing the slab and confirming the 9am appointment for today (01/12/2025), no one attended and no communicatino was proivded.
Based on the repeated installation faults, communication failures, and lack of accountability from Cyanergy, we cannot recommend their services.

Cyanergy installed my heat pump on Wednesday. Defence Force members and military veterans like me, be warned, steer clear of this company. General public be warned also. Cyanergy sold me a $20,000 solar-power system (24 x roof panels, 2 x Smart Lifestyle batteries and a Solis inverter) knowing that it wouldn’t work from day one of installation (18 September 2025) because the… Read more
inverter/batteries require a soft-ware update that didn’t come with the installation and they required 100% payment one week before installation. As of 17 October, no technician has arrived to fix the issue. But wait, there’s more! Because I had a good experience with Cyanergy replacing my gas hot-water unit with an Emerald electric one (previous 5/5 stars review), I decided to also hire them to replace my gas-ducted heating unit in my roof (6 ceiling vents) with an electric ducted heating/cooling one, and to install 24 solar-panels/batteries/inverter. The problems I have include: (1) When the Solar inspector turned on the system (11 Oct) and approved compliance, the system registered a fault straight away on the batteries and on the smart-phone app and from day 1, the system hasn't worked (as at 17 Oct). I'm waiting for a technician to arrive to fix the problem; (2) My 6 CCTV security cables in the roof were damaged ($150 repair cost) by the ducted-heating/cooling unit installers; (3) Roof insulation was left exposed to the outside when the installers closed the Colourbond roofing after installing the roof electric hot-water unit; (4) I was told by Cyanergy my roof could take 24 solar-panels and I prepaid 24, but the installers said they could only install 22. I still haven’t received a refund for the 2 un-used panels which were taken away (18 Sept); (5) The installers on 18 Sep said they would take the dozen solar-battery/panels boxes and polystyrene away but they left them behind on both their 18 Sep and 6 Oct visits and declined to take the boxes. It is standard service for tradies/companies to take product boxes away for the customer. The boxes and polystyrene are too many and too large to be taken away by car or normal Council rubbish collection; (6) After the installers installed ducted heating/cooling unit in my roof they left an instruction booklet but it turned out to be the installation-manual for the installers not the operational-manual for operating the thermostat control box on the wall. I had to source this myself calling the manufacturer (Carrier) as Cyanergy could not do this for me. It’s standard service that you are given an operating-manual/instructions to operate a product whether it be a TV or Computer or Heating/Cooling unit; (7) I asked my friend who was using Solargain for their solar installation if their installer could visit my house and advise on installation. Their technician said my roof had enough room for 24 north facing panels, so why could Cyanergy only install 22 after I prepaid for 24? The Solargain technician also said they could have install the 24 panels, batteries, inverter, protective bollards, in one day; (8) The Solar Inspector came to inspect compliance (11 Oct) and he approved the system activating, BUT he said the sticker on the fuse box indicated that solar-battery backup initiates if there is a power-outage in the area however he said there IS NO correct wiring/connection for this, so if there is a power-outage in my area my solar-batteries do not 'kick-in' and supply me with power. This defeats the purpose of having solar-power battery back-up. I have asked Cyanergy to come back and install the correct wiring for solar-power battery back-up when there's ever a power-outage in the region. If they fix the problem of the $20,000 system not working from day 1, and install the power-back up capability, I will edit this review more favourably and give them more stars. Follow-up · -Installation after help is complete joke. First, they tried to ignore the issue, then made an appointment to fix it but never showed up. Tried again to schedule another appointments, and yep, no one turned up. Totally wasted my time. -Doesn’t matter what the installation timing is if the workmanship is trash. -Now, the system’s barely seven months old, and I’m dealing with one problem after another. I’m absolutely over it.

Ismail is amazing in his ability to help and make customers feel at ease and comfortable. He goes out of his way to help me with my multiple purchases with this company because of him. Including a heat pump, air conditioners, and solar panels plus batteries. With out his continuing support and help I would not have been able to do these improvements to my home.
Many thanks to Ismail and the team at CYANERGY for arranging the new split systems in my home and safely decommissioning the Gas heating. Ismail delivered outstanding customer service — knowledgeable, professional, and consistently keeping me updated throughout the process. The installation team arrived on time and were highly skilled, friendly, and courteous. I truly appreciate the excellent work from everyone involved.

partial payment or payment on the day of installation, the company still insisted on full prepayment for work that had not yet been completed. I provided my bank details for the deposit refund. The company agreed to refund the deposit, but as of today, 24 March 2026, the money has not been returned, and my emails and phone calls have gone unanswered.
