What is the purpose of water? Can I use the vacuum cleaner as a mop on my carpet.

Hello, this a very old discontinued product but yes it can be used to vacuum your carpets. Thank you Danoz.

Hello, no, you cannot use as a mop on carpet. It is a vacuum cleaner only. Water goes into a container at the back of the unit. As the dust etc. is drawn up the hose, it is sucked into the container and is filtered through the water. This eliminates any of the dust being recirculated back into the air. The water gets dirty very quickly. It is a great idea - pity the vacuum cleaner did not live up to it's potential.

I wish they would bring it back. The trick was wetting the filter when it was new or it would over heat and stop. That was the reason it got such a bad rap. No one knew that or used common sense, but I loved it. I paid close to $300 AU for it and would gladly pay it again if they bring out a new version.

My question is that I have had this cleaner for a couple years and now I have a problem the filter on the bottom of machine paper filter has gone hard the product code is h20vac turbo h13 wet ibr jn 9606 how do I replace it and where do I get the part from as it has no suction at all what is the warranty for this

Have you tried eBay? If not, I'm sure the manufacturer should have replacement parts. If that fails, I have a couple spare. Will post them on Gum Tree.

Contact Danoz customer service and replace all the filters

One thing I did was I washed the paper filter allowed it to dry and put it back success
