As noted in my previous reviews, the products I bought were first class and extremely good value. Yes, they took a little while to arrive but for gods sake for the excellent value for money and a little while longer to wait, stop moaning or get off your lazy butts and spend way more at your local tackle store. As for the broken rod please learn not to high stick!

No response to emails - no tracking numbers, unsure of what is going on - purposely they have not put a phone number anywhere - soon I will have to contact my bank to claim fraudulent transaction, I understand that ASIC only requires 5 of these to audit and freeze the companies assets. lets see what happens.

No response to emails. No in-bound number to call. No links to shipping status like most retailers. Order placed weeks ago with no way to communicate or track postage. Is it even a real shop? Do not shop with Davos Tackle under any circumstances.

Purchased a men’s cressi wetsuit 10 days ago. Yet to be shipped. We require it by the 29th December. You only respond to emails on a Tuesday so there is no way to communicate with you. We purchased another suit from a different online supplier, on the same day, and have already received the item. We were not alerted to your stores refund terms… Read more

prior to purchasing online. These terms are against consumer law and a complaint will be made to the ACCC. You cannot mislead your customers. Your website is highly misleading given it implied you had the item in stock, ready to ship. Looking at the reviews this is a common practice. Terrible customer service. You have my money and I don’t have what I paid for. Today is Tuesday. Hopefully I hear from you today, otherwise I will have to wait another week.

I have contacted American Express who are fantastic when you have a problem like this. I will let them deal with the fools. Terrible experience, the shimano rod had issues and needed two people to pull apart because it was so tight. The tip has also broken off now with only a couple uses too. The quality is SO POOR. Sent an email in april that was ignored, sent another last week about the rod being broken, still no response from them. Ridiculous. Spend your money… Read more

elsewhere, the customer service is so poor. Should have known when they only have email contact and no number. Also, they only have customer service one day a week which is unheard of.

Bought 4 reels off Davo's through eBay, they sent them 2 at a time, I grew concerned, but eventually everything arrived as described. The negative reviews seem to focus on one issue, everyone wants products delivered next day, and no mention of the fact that their prices are the best I have found. People, stop whining over trivial stuff and trying to destroy someone providing a what we all need, value for money.

I’d give 0 ⭐️ if I could. It took 7 weeks to exchange an item for a larger size. Very poor communication, never answered phone, only office day is Tuesday but they don’t respond anyway. Cost me over $37 extra in postage and processing fees to exchange the size. Do yourself a favour and don’t order from here. The service is disgusting, disappointing and you’ll end up very frustrated.

I would give 0 stars if I can. WORST of worst online shopping experience. Just avoid this one. Ordered 2 weeks ago and it still hasn’t been processed nor dispatched. Extremely slow dispatch time on an order, all marked as 'in stock'. Over 2 weeks from date of order until it was shipped, plus actual transit time. You might have it in your fine print that it can take up to that amount of time but for a small order just not good enough in my opinion (and everyone else from the numerous reviews I have seen online). Be better.........

Do not use this company! I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. The other reviews all describe the same issues. Extremely slow dispatch times and customer service is non existent and does not care about customers at all. Awful experience and will never deal with them again.

Will no ship products out until at least 10 days elapse. They’re so confident in this, they even send you an email after 5 days saying not to complain and it’s their policy to do so… if you need to send a warning, maybe review your business practices? store credit - and take 10% of the order value off the credit as a restocking fee.

The one policy they won’t passive-aggressively email you is their one on using store credit. Odds on there being no way to use the credit are incredibly high.

I wish I read reviews before purchasing. Bought mid December, obviously for Christmas presents for my children. We’re in Jan now and HASNT EVEN POSTED IT. That is ridiculous as posting something should be the easiest thing for them to control. I contact them and get generic AI responses I’m still not convinced that’s they aren’t a scam and I’ve lost my money.

Pretty disappointed. I read their Terms, postage could take up to 11days but being xmas, i contacted a day after the purchase to ask if they believed the order would arrive before 25/12. The response was almost generic and advise i read their terms & agreement. Next time I'll pay a few more dollars and shop elsewhere.

This is just a backyarder forwarding your order then waiting for it to come in to be repacked then sent on. They dont have any stock. every item in your order to arrive. I only ordered a few clearance items so I dont lose too much. Just put the order in the bottom drawer and maybe it will turn up some day. These is a lot of these backyarder scams in work clothes which have also caught me out

ship at at anytime we feel like it. It states that it can take at least 10 WORKING days but that is only an estimate and may take longer. What a bunch of grubs they take your money then spend it and give you nothing. I dont know how they stay in business. Absolute rubbish store dont buy from them, takes 4 weeks for them just to send the package and zero customer service, sayd their office is only open Tuesdays but can't get in contact with them during operating hours, wish I didnt buy from them to save a couple of bucks.

Not a good way to shop. I messaged seconds after the order went through as I saw the mistake on colour selection. I get a message back a week later saying they can’t do anything after the order has been processed. It could have easily been solved if they attended their emails sooner.. again and they are going to take 10% off the sale price to restock. So in the end, even though they are cheap, I am now stuck with buying another one for the trip.
