repairs. The plumber said he wouldn’t charge for the small camera used to look inside the wall after making small holes to see where the leaking area was. He wasn’t able to find the leak so tentatively booked leak detection for the following morning at a cost of a further $320. So this was potentially nearly $1000 before anything has actually been repaired! I declined this offer and said I would hopefully be able to get my usual guy in the morning from Bond Plumbing to sort it out. Saved myself that extra $320. Plumber from Bond came around at noon next day found the leak with his camera and repaired it at total cost of $289 ! Had to lose a days pay to wait around for my guy to come however. Moral of the story - don’t call DCM for emergency after hours as you could also waste $630 for someone to take 30 min to tell you to pay more money for a job they have no idea about. So he was a nice guy and very much on time but the prices for his service from DCM are over the top and a complete rip off. Learned my lesson tho. I do not recommend them. Will definitely stick to my usual plumber in future.

We asked for a plumber to replace a couple of tap washers. On arrival the plumber tried to find fault with every tap and charge to "service" each tap at a cost of almost $300 for the first tap and almost $200 for each additional tap - a ridiculous "fixed price" method of charging. to do myself ($550 per hour). I declined the quote and copped a bill of $99 for no work completed. Not happy! The lesson here is get a price indication before you schedule a visit!

Poor work and follow up – Young plumber accidentally damaged my home (spilled glue on carpet in stairway as well as removed paint from outdoor area) and the response from the company was to offer a paltry sum in apology and then send supervisor who was condescending and only concerned with shifting blame. plumber (Logan) then your job was palmed off to the next (Jackson) without letting you know that Jackson would be your plumber moving forward. So you were left to communicate with Jackson through Logan.

Jackson said our concrete cutting & refilling for the new bathroom layout would only take Wed Thu Fri. So we had booked in other tradies accordingly (tilers, termiproof, etc). Then here came Friday afternoon you came back to see that the concrete digging had not yet even been completed. We tried to ask Logan (because we dont have contact for Jackson & thought he was the person in charge for our project) but got no response. I was left to try to reach out to termite proof company to reschedule the Monday booking because they charge a fee for cancelling within 24 hours. Tiler was also got to reschedule for a week later. The plumber then took another 2 days to complete the concrete. Termite proof company came out next day and said it was a terrible job in which the plumber didnt leave any gap around the pipes for termite proof and they left the site very dirty. To save time, my builder has to tidy up and fix the concrete part so termiproof can be installed - of course we got to pay extra bill to builder to fix the plumber's poor job and for the termite proof company to come back twice.

The builder discussed with plumber for final fit out date on the site. Then the day before the fitout date, he got a call from Jackson that no one can be on our site tomorrow for fitout. I rang the head office and the lady just refused that no booking was made and no communication from our end or their plumber to their head office. So now we are left to find another plumber to finish off the fitout because DCM will be unavailable to do anything for another week. If you want quality plumbing job done in a timely manner, just don't go through them as it is not worth it. The receptionist also said they can't tell you when a job can be done either, they will just take their own time, and if anything happened, it will never be DCM's fault - they never want to hear about your complaint.

Today after the fitout was completed, we found out that we only have hot water in the bathroom & toilet. No hot water in kitchen or laundry. Apparently DCM had made mistakes when rewiring the pipes, and the only way to fix this issue is to get back into the wall! Called the office again and same receptionist kept saying all senior plumbers (including the owner) are out of town and in an area without phone reception? So I need to put my issue in an email to send to her, and someone will call me back tomorrow? While you have all your other tradies on site, halting their work to wait to see whether whatever the fitout has to be undone for these plumber to get back into the wall to fix their problem, you want an urgent answer, not to wait till the next day!!! Hung up with her, rang Logan and he answered right away. He identified the issue via photos recorded for our job from Jackson and show up in 15-20 mins (not that far away in a remote area as the receptionist has said). Lucky for us that there only the laundry cuboard wall had to come down and not the tiled walls. However it still left our cuboard skirting look broken. Extremely unhappy!

Never hire this company again and will not recommend them to anyone

when he was on his way and actually turned up a few minutes early. His professionalism and easy going manner was a pleasure to see. I can’t say how appreciative we were of Tayte’s excellent work. He provided a free check of all our tap ware and then clearly explained the options for the repair of the tap in question. He clearly explained the costs and the time it would take, confirming everything in writing before he commenced work. Again his professionalism and work ethic was absolutely 5 stars. The repair was completed in a quick and efficient manner and we are so very pleased with the outcome. I would recommend Tayte to anyone and he is definitely an asset to DCM.
