Very satisfied – I was very happy with decors patience and understanding when I had to postpone installation a few times. End result was easy on time and perfect. Curtains look lovely.

Installation was a dreadful experience. Initial installer wrecked 4 of 6 tracks, he was sent back 3 times to try to rectify. All up 3 months from initial installation until installed as per contract. Company promised a gift at end of the process - this has never happened. Very disappointing experience to complete our renovations with. Very disappointed – It took almost 3 months from order to installation. The measurements were wrong (8-9 inches either side). So with Christmas & holidays it took another 3 weeks to rectify. delays & inconvenience. Unfortunately I have a few more windows that need doing but I will not use this company again nor will I recommend them. The installer was fabulous & very patient through the whole ordeal.

Get it in writing!! – We like to support local, family owned businesses and for that reason we went to Decor and ordered 3 sets of shutters and a set of wooden mini blinds for a sliding door in our bedroom. went to the store only to find out that my salesman had quit and no one was receiving his messages or answering his phone. The two employees in the store however assured me that because the mini blinds are constructed last, and they had not yet been started, cancelling that portion of the order was not a problem. When the order was ready for delivery however, they intended to charge me for these blinds claiming I should have gotten their word in writing via a new contract, and that I would be responsible for paying the entire amount. After several back and forth communications, Décor agreed to a nominally reduced amount. Despite several requests, they refused to itemise the retail amount of the subject blinds, their cost of the subject blinds or the installation portion for those blinds. They also refused to have the installer bring them for me to see that they had actually been made.

The cost is reasonable, quality of the material is OK, and the installation was very good but for our next order we will definitely be going somewhere else. Hopefully with a company whose word is meaningful.

Amazing customer service - above and beyond – We are building our own place and the Decor Blinds and Curtains consultant has worked with us closely. She has understood when we have had delays with the builders. She has gone out to our property numerous times to get the measurements and has worked with us to prioritise putting in the order for our shutters first as they have a greater lead time. Terrible Service combined with a "Couldn't Care" attitude – Don't believe them that their products are local - they are shipped from overseas in containers. You will suffer massive delays. When they do arrive you will find that the local guys actually measured the windows wrong. We had a big job with them but as soon as you have an issue you will see their true colours. tell you "Pay up or else we'll send you to debt collection". It wasn't even completely installed yet as they measured wrong and after wating for months there was not even an apology. There was not even an attempt to discuss and rectify anything instead we were treated exceptionally rudely and condescendingly. Not even a discussion on how it could be resolved for us. We hated it so much we asked them to take it out and was told they will charge us for taking them out.

Also a further note on the installation - you were going to have a team of 3 come out to install. In the end we had a single installer and it's just not convenient waiting around for him to finish late at night and actually having to help him carry frames as it's not a single person job. I did not expect to assist with the installation.

Avoid these guys at all costs.

Absolutely flawless service from start to finish – We got a quote from Decor in Brisbane for plantation shutters after not being really happy with other quotes we had. From first contact they just made the whole process easy.
