I’m now left having to quickly organise another gift and wait up to 10 days for a refund. I am now three days out from Mother’s Day and have had to start again at the last minute. Very poor service.
Never buy! Ordered monogram pjs 2 sets, same pattern, both arrived slightly different colours, such poor quality fabric, the website said they were cotton, they are actually rayon, and the label on the pjs says such. I placed two in-store orders with Deer Ruby on 5 November and 17 November, both assisted by [Name Removed]. communication, I returned to the store on 5 December to seek an update. Responsibility was attributed to their Indonesian maker, and I was assured that the maker would be contacted that same day and that I would receive a status update via text message. Two weeks have now passed since that conversation, with no follow-up, no update, and no communication.
Given the cost of these items, the customer service is unacceptable. Delays can occur, but the absence of proactive communication and accountability is not excusable. Furthermore, the store’s “Contact Us” page still contains template placeholder text, and none of the FAQs are answered — a clear indication of how little attention is paid to customer experience.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Deer Ruby in good conscience. My expectation was not perfection, but basic professionalism: clear communication, honesty when timelines are missed, and some acknowledgment of failure to deliver as promised. At a minimum, customers deserve transparency and respect when their money has been taken.
Update: We only arrived at a refund after my follow up and after I placed this review to inform prospective customers of my experience.

Disgusted with lack of service and item size not as pictured on website – I received these earrings and they were not as pictured on their website. hoping to resolve the issue so they could be returned & was just given ridiculous excuses & was sent videos insinuating that I didn't notice that that's how it looks in real life. I advised that I am totally disappointed with the product & would like to return the earrings & was told that earrings may not be returned due to health regulations. Terrible quality especially given the price – I bought my necklace 2 years ago but haven't been able to wear it for most of that time. Within 3 months it was totally unwearable. It broke so easily and the quote for repairs was so high it wasn't feasible. I took it to a local jewller who fixed it at no cost. tarnished within 3 months. The plating came off and it was basically black. I followed the care instructions to a T and never wore it water. I have held on to the necklace for so long because it cost so much and was sentimental with my kids initials but clearing out and finally throwing it away and I'm still so disappointed that I finally posted this review.
Still waiting!! – I put an order in for two necklaces in November and I am still waiting on them. When I email for a response I get the same response that I missed the Christmas cut off and they should be on their way in a couple of weeks etc. Very disappointed

Very delicate but superb quality – I've purchased 3 Deer Ruby necklaces so far, one for me and two as gifts. I absolutely love mine and I get comments about it all the time. It is very delicate though so you do have to be careful but I personally love the delicate nature and how it looks on. Not fit for purpose, great concept, easily breakable – The bracelet appeared great on first receipt. It broke within 24 hours of first wear.
