Disgusting behaviour – I am so disgusted, the day before Deliveroo announced they were under administration and closing they deducted $15 from my daughter’s bank account for membership, she contacted them immediately on discovering what was happening and was referred to the Administrator and becomes an unsecured creditor. Well Deserved, Good Riddance – My only regret is that this horrible service didn't go bankrupt in Australia earlier, bunch of scammers. Hopefully next is the parent company, all they did was rip off their customers, provided no compensation whenever food was stolen and no accountability for their inactions. Bye bye! :) Show details

Stay away - delivery service that does not care – Terrible delivery service with very inaccurate delivery estimates. Stay away from this company that does not care for the customer or food it delivers and will deliver your food 2 hours late without any explanation or suitable compensation - refunded $4.50 in store credit for my 2 dishes and a dessert. Avoid! Food never delivered and does not refund whole amount – Food never delivered. Deliveroo processed refund as credit. some credits but the total amount was 29.30. Breakdown is cash (23.72) credit (5.58).

So even if you say I wont get the whole amount because of credits, total cash out is still 23.72. So simple math dictates i still will get the 23.72.

This is such a small thing. But to not admit you made a mistake in your accounting is the issue here aside from not getting the service I paid for.

two items I didn't even want (Two mini Peters drumsticks). The missing items together came to $11.55 so I complained, showed them photographic proof and right away they sent me a message that they would pay me the $11.55, then I received another message from Paypal that they paid me only $7.82, so where did the other $3.78 go? It won't happen again, I will never, ever use this useless service again and to think I wasted another $7 giving the the guy a tip for crushed burgers and half an order.

Breakfast – 9.30am or 9.45am is too late to start delivery in Adelaide especially for breakfast. I do like the cheaper delivery costs for many of the restaurants. Compared it to another delivery business and it was $5 cheaper using Deliveroo. Show details

Full refund within an hour – The restaurant gave me the wrong meal. This was the restaurants fault technically. However got full refund within an hour. Prompt delivery of food by friendly driver. Compare this to menulog - Waited over 4 hours then they cancelled my order at 1030pm. Show details

had CCTV and asked if they would like a copy as the driver essentially stole the food and probably shouldn’t be driving for them. “Customer service” ended the online chat. Horrible service. I will not order with them again, ever. No proactive steps at all to prevent driver food theft and ensure quality drivers.

expect to wait a minimum of 2-3 hours – Appalling service. I suspect they don't have enough drivers to provide delivery, and very few options of restaurants in comparison to others. minutes, suddenly app gave me notification the food was delivered which wasn’t.

Rider support called me and said due to damaged packaging the order need to be redelivered but guess what? It takes another 1 hr or more If i want it. Well guess what ? It’s too late for dinner by then for the kids.

Chatted with cs (because rider support can’t give compensation) and they refuse to give any credit for compensation.

Basically, this is the worst delivery app, it takes way longer than any other app and if they stuffed you up, you will be left with nothing.

Reading few of this reviews, seems like i still in better spot considering I didn’t lose any money.

Misleading website – Site lists 'restaurant is preparing your order' for 1.5 hours so it looks like they aren't at fault. Rang the restaurant and they said the food (a single pizza) was ready 10 minutes after we ordered. Website offers 10% refund. Show details

Terrible delivery service – I received my delivery today from McDonalds with all my meals/food missing and just my drinks inside and this is not the first time it’s happened. Then I call McDonald’s they inform me they included all my food items, meaning the delivery driver was responsible for missing items, not even sure who to believe :/ plus waited for my order several minutes, excited to get it then no food, terrible!!!

will admit they gave a $5 coupon which is OK but still frustrating that you can't enjoy your meal, HOWEVER, in a few cases they will refuse a refund even if your pizza is a frozen rock and your fish and chips are cold. (-9) 4x- Incorrect order e.g. coke classic instead of coke zero, wrong sauce on HSP, etc. (not their fault and was compensated so +/- 0) 4x - Extremely frustrating issues like the restaurant never receiving the order even after 2 hours, the guy spilling the package, and then the restaurant cancelling due to OOS after further 20 mins so unacceptable wait times without any compensation. (-8)

Such a poor offering with no help or garantee when it says no later than this arrival it always it’s later! How they are still in business in Australia is beyond me. Worst delivery service – Worst delivery service. Orders always have missing items, which seems they don't have any quality control checks. The contact centre isn't much of a help either. They'd simply do a refund and ask that you put another order. Quite frustrating and yet you get charged with service fee. Or should I say disservice fee. Doesn't even deserve a star.
