Verdict
EveryPlate is a strong contender for those seeking a low-cost, high-convenience meal solution that takes the guesswork out of cooking. However, potential users should be prepared for repetitive ingredients and may need to supplement meals with their own pantry staples or extra vegetables.
The quality of the meat was good but the vegetables started to go bad quickly and not much on the menu to choose from but what they do have is easy to cook and to easy to follow the recipe and full of flavour Show details
Very poor quality produce – I let my second order go through expecting it to be a one-off, but again received produce that was of very poor quality and not worth using. Quality - 2/10 Delivery 10/10 Show details

100% ordering again, Everyplate meal plans are great for entire family even when having picky eaters and the quantity/quality is beyond what I would get from the shops. It is budget friendly, quick and easy to prepare and make my children and grand daughter love to help make them also which helps me out when I don't feel like cooking Show details · 1

If you get every plate this meal is a must get. Show details · 1
Problem: Have mentioned this in previous surveys but still find packing of boxes usually crumples the instruction sheets or has them damaged because sealing tape stuck to them and tears off part of instructions. Solution: They could be tucked down the side or layed flat on top with a protective or advertising sheet on top so box sealing tape only sticks to advertising or protective sheet. Show details · 1

I’m so so happy with everyplate, I hate going to the shops and figuring out what to cook then having to walk through the isles to find everything. This is easy and it stops me from by take out and I’m eating better and feel and better. Show details · 1
Food recipes are good. The produce and meat is also good. But there seems to very little care put the packing process. The recipe cards are always bent and stuffed into a corner. The box sometimes comes half open because the tape is placed carelessly. The ingredients are all in one bag rather than separated into each recipe. Yes it cheap but the… Read more
lack of care put into it is very noticeable. We understand that it’s a “budget” option but even those customers deserve a well packaged product.

Received my first EveryPlate box and was rather bemused by the number of ingredients not actually included with each dish. EveryPlate communicates that you should have ‘five staple ingredients’ in order to prepare the dishes (Salt, Pepper, Sugar, Oil and Butter). Yet multiple recipes state the need for additional ingredients such as eggs,… Read more
wholegrain mustard, honey etc…. So it’s not just 5 staple ingredients that you need! The peanut noodle dish came with 0 peanut products and you had to provide your own! Disappointed in Every Plate and will be trying other companies instead.
Update: customer service weren’t that bothered with the issues.

Follow-up · Everyplate has been a staple in our house for a long time. There is a large variety of meals on offer to suit all tastes. Vegetables delivered are fresh, I have never had any I couldn't use. The recipe cards make it super easy to prepare and cook the delicious meals. The EveryPlate app is one of the best I've used. It's very intuitive, easy to follow. I would recommend everyplate.
Everyplate meals have been consistently great and my youngest daughter enjoys cooking them! 3 meals a week for 2 people- I am very pleased with the value for money. I recommend this company. Show details · 1
Follow-up · My youngest daughter likes to cook any Everyplate meal that contains rice or noodles! Asian flavors are something she loves. A tip for first time cooks is to make sure you check what pantry items you need to go with the recipes. Everyplate provides over 90% of what you need but you will need a couple of items each time. For a little mg time every plate has been great but in the last few orders there has been mistakes with items missing or completely wrong menu items sent. And now there seems to be no discount offers anymore and prices have gone up because we are regional?? We have decided to stop now unfortunately as it’s not as much of a saving as it was once. My impression of my first order was awesome - great selection of meals and the portion sizes are HUGE - I don't eat big portions, so I was able to make up meals for lunch and freeze some and share some with family :-) It is a great way to cut down waste, particularly of fresh vegetables and meat and stops impulse buying at the supermarket. Also, it is making me try food that I wouldn't necessarily eat, but enjoying it!! Show details · 1
Fantastic value for money, the recipes are absolutely delicious. My husband and I are neurodivergent and struggle to find safe foods to cook that aren't bland and boring, but with EveryPlate, we've found a real winner. Everything we've cooked so far has been very easy to cook and very impressive with flavour!! We love the beef meatball fusilli dish so much we can't stop thinking about it. Absolutely recommend this to neurodiverse people! Show details · 1

I love the concept of a meal box each week, it takes all the guess work of what to cook the family. The cards are easy to follow. The quality of the beef mince was terrible. The mince was dry and full of ligaments, dry and gristle. It said premium on the packet as well, which is hard to belive. Coles/also mince is better!! When cooked it was… Read more
inedible, my 2 year old toddlers wouldnt eat it. We stopped ordering anything that required mince, but for a balanced diet for little ones we need iron. So due to this ive stopped buying and gone elsewhere. Also the dinners dont have a variety of vegetables its always carrot, zuccini and bags of spinach.

Stopped the plan for a break, was called by pushy sales rep to reinstate. To get them off the phone agreed to a voucher to use at a later date. Told them I would re evaluate in a few weeks time. Apparently this meant yes reinstate my subscription and skip 3 weeks. They then charged my card after the 3 weeks was up for a box we didnt select and refused to refund

Absolute disgrace of a company. I was offered a FREE box through a friend’s referral. The moment I signed up, EveryPlate tried to charge me $151 — for a box that was clearly advertised as free. I rang customer service straight away to fix it. After wasting my time, I was told it would be “sorted” and that I’d instead get a box for around $80… Read more
(still not free, but fine — just wanted the issue resolved).
Fast forward to Friday night — bang — my credit card is charged the FULL $151 anyway.
So not only did they ignore what was agreed on the phone, they helped themselves to my money without authorisation.
This feels deliberately misleading. Lure you in with a “free box”, then quietly slam your card with a massive charge and hope you don’t notice.
Customer service clearly means nothing because what they promise doesn’t get honoured.
If you’re thinking of trying EveryPlate — DON’T. Check your bank statements carefully because they will charge you whatever they like.
Dodgy, deceptive and absolutely not worth the stress.

I’m not the best cook in the world but thought I’d give it a go. It was so easy and truly delicious! I expected that I would ruin the meal but was pleasantly surprised and impressed! Generous servings which gave me 2 meals. So worth it for single people and saves throwing out unused food constantly, saving money. Definitely recommend! Show details · 1

It's great not to think about what to cook every night!! Most meals are super easy and very tasty. Our kids love having different meals than the usual. The produce is fresh and better quality than the big supermarket chains. Show details · 1
I’m really enjoying my EveryPlate boxes. Being vegetarian they have given me plenty of options to choose from. So convenient for me as I’m recovering from knee surgery. No need to get to the shops and no waste. Also very generous serves. Show details · 1
I have tried several food/meal deliveries and Every Plate is simple meals with straightforward recipes and everyday ingredients. It is packaged so that all the ingredients stay fresh for the week. I especially like the coated vegetable bag for doing this. The joining discount is pretty good. Show details · 1
I think the service/food provided is definitely value for money. The quality of food is good. The only improvement I would like to see is the flexibility to request servings for 3 people. At the moment it only allows 2 or 4 servings. Hopefully this may be integrated in the future. Show reply
It would be better if you could add preferences. Sometimes I forget to update my weekly meal choice and get sent pork or bacon options and we do not eat pork or bacon. Show details · 1
The meals are very good, the instructions are very clear, It is easy to make, and no leftovers. I just wish that you would have more options for people with allergy Show details · 1
I'm a vegetarian and order the veggie meals almost every week. I wish there would be more variety of vegetables used in the recipes, for several weeks I've found myself cooking different recipes but all of them have only carrot and zucchini as the vegetables, which becomes a bit boring. I also think sometimes there's not enough protein supplied in… Read more · 1
some of the meals (eg. Tofu) which is not great when you're trying to reach a target protein amount with your meals. A few times I've had issues with the ingredients delivered not being the best quality (vegetables or bread that goes off in a few days), or damaged packaging (boxes or bags with holes), but when I have reported issues I received a credit to use in my next order. Despite the mentioned issues, the recipes are very tasty and easy to cook. If there was more variety of vegetables and the addition of more protein to some meals, I'd be absolutely happy.
With 40% the price represents a significant saving from regular weekly shops. The quality of the products is good, and the portion size is decent. However, the vegetarian recipes aren't too original and use the same vegetables for all, not providing great nutritional variety. I would appreciate more variety of vegetables and recipes with a little… Read more · 1
twist, something you wouldn't do if you didn't have a recipe, something beyond rice and marinated tofu.
