Terrible product and bad customer service – We ordered a 3-seater sofa from De Rucci. I did not do a full examination of the sofa as I trusted that it’s brand new, not floor stock and should be in good condition. But after the delivery people left, I notice a 5 cm crack at the back of the sofa. I emailed them with the picture of the crack and called them. They said they would get back to me after checking with the warehouse manager. But they didn’t call back. When I called, they insisted that I had signed the delivery docket, so, there was nothing they could do! And their products could not be returned. It was all my fault for not checking! So, the fact that a sofa could have a 5cm crack after only a few hours of delivery when no one had ever touched it definitely tell you a lot of the poor quality of their product!!

First time to this store quickly turned Sour – 6/11/20 Walking into De Lucci store for the first time captured by the beautiful ring led pendant light on display. My daughter & I just wanted to ask about it. When we called out to the sales person for assistance, he never greeted us, never smiled & so we told him we were curious on price . For some reason he thought we were pointing to a small glass ornament displaying on a table near the light as he stands by it & looks at it, not at us & only say “ It’s very expensive “ I guess he didn’t feel the need to disclose the price, nor did we see any point in telling him we’re not pointing at this small glass he assumes we can’t afford !!!!! The store has beautiful leather furniture, maybe he would have treated me differently if I had come in my Burberry suits and Jimmy Choo shoes. Ruined my first day off in a long time & our first taste of freedom from COVID restrictions. Should never judge a book by its cover. So rude!

No Sleep Well Guarantee – Bought a bed, coffee table and mattress from DeRucci. Bed frame and coffee table are fine. Delivery was done flawlessly! Can’t speak highly enough about delivery dudes. The mattress is not what it felt like in the store and is not comfortable. Asked to return and pay more for a new one as less than 2 weeks old and was refused. My view is like other mattress providers In Australia a change should be allowed if consumer is willing to pay delivery fee and upgrade fee for a period less than 30 days.

Beware! Looks astonishing but terrible finishing – When we walked into the store, we were wowed by the product range. However, once we assembled the console table, it was wobbly! Only 4/8 screws went into the rivets provided. Not only this, we purchased a candle stand to sit atop the console table, which too is not aligned correctly and is wobbly! Clearly disappointed and now relieved that we dint order a bed frame we loved on sight!
