Love it, look forward to new boxes every week
I’m really happy with my Dinnerly meals. I order 3 x 2 serves a week for me and my teenage daughter and we’re always surprised with how tasty the meals are. I love that there’s no waste and the time I save preparing these meals is an absolute bonus. Never had a problem with quality either, the ingredients always seem fresh and look appetising. DO NOT USE - They said I activated and deactivated my account the same day which automatically issues a box and takes your money unless you manually ask them to cancel the order. I was in hospital at the time so obviously I didn’t reactivate my account. They are refusing to refund. STAY AWAY! Wish I could give minus stars. we cancelled our subscription with dinnerly as we wanted to try hellofresh. We cancelled dinnerly on the 23rd of february and got our regular scheduled box on sunday the 25th. However they sent us another box and charged us again the very next day on Monday the 26th. I called and asked why and they said apparently we asked for our march 3rd box to be sent early and we asked for this on the 15th of February which is almost 2 weeks earlier.I then asked why would we ask for a box scheduled 2 weeks in the future to come earlier to me by one ... week?? they had no idea and neither do I so it was clearly an error in their app. We hadn't planned on cancelling dinnerly and only did on the 23rd as we saw there was a discount offer and it was impulsive so we did it straight away. I googled the issue and it has happened to a lot of people, so it seems these guys are ripping off many people $100 at a time with their boxes of food that we "apparently order twice" for one week. I tried to cancel my first order when I realised the product didn't suit my dietary requirements. I tried to contact the company through two different communication mediums and didn't hear back from either. I have received a delivery of food - that they have debited my account for even though I did not request it, did not agree to pay for it, and did not want it - and I have no idea what they have provided because I didn't order it.I am very angry and feel like I have been scammed. So disappointed :(
Quality??
I understand that storage and delivery can be an issue but when you get ingredients that look like this on the day of delivery on a regular basis, something needs to be done re their quality control. Had signed up last year and ordered 2 deliveries, 1 per week. They never came. I contacted them both times to be told my deliveries had been misplaced. They would not refund only give credit. Once I received an email to say they will only give credit to my account, the next day they deactivated my account. When I contacted them in regards to the cancellation of my account they then mentioned they don't deliver to my area. But they were happy to take my money. Tried for two weeks to get a box from them. First just didn't turn up, complained and they blamed their delivery partner and never reported a reason why.This week the delivery was cancelled for no reason. After trying all of the other brands, I came back to this one. Not only because it's more affordable, but the meals are quite tasty, healthy, with a great variety to choose from, with the option to choose your ideal recipes, skip deliveries if you're going away or on a tight budget for a certain time, and to be able to choose the type of plan that suits your lifestyle. Unfortunately we weren’t able to use this service due to food intolerances, however I some how managed to subscribe. Even though I thought I had unsubscribed completely a payment for a first delivery was taken. One quick email and the money was returned in full, in less than 24 hours. I went on their website, wanting just to look at the meals. In order to do that, they ask for all of your information, including credit card. I did this, and it said that my order is placed, before I even got to look at the site or other meal options. So I immediately cancelled, which they acknowledge, but said it was too late to cancel the 1st order, which was an automatic order. The order wasn't for delivery until 2 weeks hence, and they still wouldn't cancel it. I am just a pensioner and they took the money from my account. Ordered my dinnerly was given a time frame of 9am-6:30pm for delivery which is way too long.Waited all day for the box to not even be delivered tried to contact them multiple times just to be told “we will get in contact with the courier”. The box is yet to be delivered. Show details

Don’t give them your card details.Like most meal kits you have to give your banking information to view boxes etc etc, I figured this was like the other 10 I had viewed that night. Wrong.

Charged me for a box I cancelled. Took 2 days to reply and in that time I lodged a paypal dispute. Was advised a refund is being processed and to wait 7 days. Wait the 7 days to be told, sorry we wont refund until you close the dispute (knowing full well I will not have any recourse for my refund if I do that).Purposeful miscommunication by Dinnerly, and still no refund.
