My dishwasher stopped half way through a cycle with water left in the sump, power from house is good. What could be the problem please
Who Manufactured Dishlex? I would like a workbook or Pdf of the maintenance of this particular unit ? Thank you John f Weeks h2o@picknowl.com.au
Our 2008-vintage machine runs OK but (despite rinsing before loading) consistently we find a lot of debris in the cups and glasses on top shelf and virtually none in the filter at bottom. It's tedious having to hand rinse them when unloading. We have a very similar Dishlex DX203WK at another house, about 2011 vintage, which functions Ok in this regard and we rinse the filter after each wash. What can we do with the older DX103WK? Also in both, what is the orange thing inside at bottom left for? No mention in manual. We have it set on 2. Water in both places is soft.
Yeah, I'd also like to know what the orange thing inside at bottom left is? How can they have a user-selectable device ("1" or "2") and not refer to it in the manual?
Doesn't complete whichever cycle chosen: washer starts, fills and begins - runs but partway thr cycle the start light flashes - when door is opened, cycle not completed, either dishes still dirty or (after resetting and turning off-on as prescribed), dishes clean but not dried and glasses still yucky, any suggestions?
Its a long shot but try applying pressure to the door and see if cycle starts up again. Door connections were weak and troublesome on these dishwashers. As pressure builds inside it tries to force the door open so the machine thinks the door is open and stops mid cycle. Good luck!
my dishlex DX103 wk only hums on start. I replaced the inlet solenoid valve as it wasn't filling with water. trouble shoot suggested this as the first to fix but this did not solve the problem. What do I look for next as I don't see any further solutions in the trouble shoot manual.
Hi I have DX103WK has been working fine now it won't turn at all no lights or anything tried unplugging it and plugging back in again checked fuses in main powerboard any ideas Ben
It needs a new circuit board. Approx $200 plus service charge for installation. This is what happened to ours at 5 years old so we trashed it and bought a Bosch.
Dishlex DX103 can it operate ok if connected to hot water?
Would not recomend
we operated it connected to hot water for 3 years still ok...
Dosen't complete was cycle: washer set on quick 30 - press start it fills and begins - runs normal for 20.25 minutes - then stops with start light flashing - when open door, suds still on base dishes not rinsed, any suggestions?
my Dishlex dx 103 also has no power. The plug works as I tested it but redlight start button does not light up. Any remedies?
did you find a solution to this as mine is doing the same, no power??
I bought a new Bosch on sale at good guys. $150 call out to have a look at dishlex
asked three times still no answer. your all useless.
Dishlex SX103WK has orange light on. What does this indicate? Thanks
how long it will take to finish washing?
I got a dishlex dx103xk and can't fit near the sing so I go to fit it about 3or4m afar from it is that tfor pump the water way?
Quite often my dishes and cutlery are dirty at the end of the cycle. Why? I regularly clean the filter after each wash. I use finish tablets to no avail. Please advise. Thankyou.
When was the dx103wk dishwasher made?
Do you access the flood cut off switch from underneath the machine?
When was the Dishlex dishwasher model DX103WK first released? What year?
Thanks
My DX103 would not draw water. After researching the cause, I was lead to believe that the inlet valve needs replacing. So I replaced it.
With the new inlet value in place, I put the machine on and it worked, FOR ONE CYCLE ONLY. I have not been able to get the machine to draw water.
Has this happened to anyone? ALSO, TO ADD NUMBERS - OUR HANDLE BROKE A WHILE A GO TOO!
Does anyone know where you can get a BETTER manual (Tradies / Technicians) than issued by Dishlex.
The wheels under our bottom tray can’t bear more than half a load before they collapse and make it impossible for anything to be cleaned. So they’re not broken, just so loose as to be completely ineffective. Very frustrating given the machine normally works just fine. Any way of this being sorted at a reasonable cost?
It’s s common problem, we buy the new wheels off eBay for about $15 for the whole set
I have 3 years old DX103WK.
It looks working OK. However the "Finished" light does not come on when it has finished washing.
It means we do not know when it finishes.
Has anyone an idea, please?
It will be a faulty primary circuit board. The steam can get into this board and deteriorate it. Electrolux want about $150 for a new board and the same for the repair man to do a swap. probably the dish washer is not worth it but at 3 YO, it certainly isn't old and it should last longer. Put in a Small Claim via your State legal system if Electrolux won't fix the problem for no cost.
I have the same problem, but am not having it looked at because of the cost. I just let it go untill I think its finished and open the door. Check you instructions on the time for the cycle you set it on and assume that is finished, then open it.
I phoned Dishlex about it but they couldnt help.
Handle has snapped off the control panel; Found a replacement part, but how do you take the old one off?
It happened to me Kerry and I was able to get Electrolux to supply and fit the new one at no cost despite being out of warranty. The handle are a bad design on that model and not strong enough to do the job. It is a common problem. A good tip when you do get it fixed up is to always put your fingers right up into it when opening as the plastic is thin and weak at the edge where you get hold of it. Good luck.
Thanks - this is a really old DW in a rental - the agents wouldn't replace it (said it was our fault!). Found the part through a supplier on ebay, but we will do the fix (just before we move out!). We've been using it without the handle for about 2 yrs :-)
