Do-All Appliance Service

Extremely disappointing experience with Do All Appliance Repairs. Almost 4 weeks with no clear result yet! The technician appeared to have very little knowledge of the issue and was unable to provide a clear diagnosis or solution. What should have been a straightforward repair turned into weeks of frustration with little progress. To make… Read more
matters worse, the customer service was poor. The receptionist was rude, impatient, and unwilling to listen to concerns or provide helpful information. Every interaction felt dismissive, and there seemed to be a lack of communication and accountability throughout the process. After dealing with ongoing delays, poor service, and a lack of professionalism, I cannot recommend this company. There are far better appliance repair services in Melbourne that value their customers' time and concerns.
I was charged $430 to fix an igniter, 10 months later, the same thing broke and they want to charge another $430 to fix. Claiming that the warranty of the product is only 6 months. Of course it is when they dont use genuine parts. It's total rip off.
Rip off DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY – This is a no star review, our dishwasher had a specific problem, came out and accessed what the problem was and said needed to order replacement parts. After a week of not hearing, rang and they organised to come out with replacement part. Replaced part and charged us $143 original call out fee and $242 for replacement part and labour, great if… Read more
they fixed the problem, but no dishwasher had the same problem when I went to use it. They came out again and diagnosed another problem according to them, and quoted us $600 less the original call-out fee $143 being $457. The invoice I received does not state what was replaced very dodgy. I have since used a local repairer to fix the dishwasher, came the next day and only paid a fraction of what DO ALL Appliances quoted. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Expensive service and rude owner – Another company assessed my partially working rangehood and identified the problem but couldn’t get the part. DoAll said they were the SMEG rep and could fix the problem. They charged $140 to come and then said they had to take it to the workshop and would return it in same condition if they couldn’t fix it. 3 months later and still no rangehood.… Read more
They then wanted to charge me a total of $700 for a new $300 rangehood. I asked them to return my old rangehood in same condition they removed it. They brought it back and it wasn’t working at all so they took it back to workshop and another month later brought it back with secondhand parts that didn’t fit properly and charged me another $390. The owner was rude and wouldn’t accept responsibility that his employees had wrecked the parts of the original rangehood and said I had to pay for their time and stuff ups. Definitely wouldn’t recommend due to the owners’ attitude and lack of customer service. Office girls and technicians who came to my house were all really nice but DoAll is a rip off and wouldn’t trust them.
Zero return on your dollar! – We have 10 yo F&P front loader washing machine. A stock standard item. The technician seemed proud that he could make the spin dryer work with the lid open, but that was about the extent of his expertise. He didn't know how to display the error codes. I was able to sort that out the next day after watching some YouTube videos and I also fixed the… Read more
problem which had been stopping the machine's cycle. The machine has been running well with no new parts for about 3 months since then. After advising he couldn't help and saying the best option was probably to buy a new machine, I paid my $150? - can't remember. Payment HAD to be made via a payment unit provided by the technician which required me to enter all my banking details and password on HIS device. Totally unprofessional and unheard of with any other business I have dealt with. Stay a mile away from these guys.
Very ordinary service. They ignored the details I sent them when arranging the callout. Had to pay for two callouts – When I ordered the service I gave details of what was needed including the exact model of cooktop. Repairer arrived without parts in hand even though they knew upfront. (Other reviews mention this behaviour) They came back for second callout approx 2 weeks later and unfortunately could not install one major part the autostarter. Paid for two… Read more
callout charges. Service man also did not bother to sign the "written warranty document aka a section of the tax invoice. Warranty is 6 months on parts and 3 months on labour which seems below par. Repairman did not carry EFTPOS machine so he just read out to the people over phone so definitely not the most secure. Have no idea why this experienced technician also couldn't disconnect and open the cooktop from the back like was done by another company 6months prior to correctly fix a different part. Would not recommend.
Very good quality appliance repair and service – I live in brighton and Do all appliances was recommended to me by a harvey norman staff member. I'm glad to say that i have relied on them for all my home appliance repairs and they always go above and beyond whats required.
no service from doall allpliance – I rang to have my washing machine outlet hose replaced. No-one asked me for details about the machine. The booking was for 10 days ahead. At that initial call I told them I needed the hose to be replaced as I had ascertained that was were the leak was. The day before the service was about to happen, they called to check and I reminded them ,… Read more
please bring the outlet hose. Then they asked the questions," OH!! we don't carry F & P Parts will need to get that in". I asked if it was a family business , and was told "yes" and I said could someone please phone me to go over the lack of service. I'm still waiting for that call.
So 8 days later I'm still waiting for any service , and they state the the part hadn't arrived from their supplier! I rang F & P yesterday, yes they have the part instock and would arrive in 3-5 working days.
And to top it all off, I was told by "DO ALL APPLIANCES" that when the part arrived I would then need to be rescheduled which could take another week.
So NO SERVICE!!! not impressed.
Excellent job, thank you – Rang to arrange a specialist to look at my dishwasher, which stopped working properly. The receptionist asked precise questions regarding the brand and problems. She was extremely friendly and attentive. Had a call the same day that the specialist will be at my place next day between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm The technician came around 12, examined,… Read more
replaced the motor capacitor (had the spare part in the car, thanks to the initial conversation over the phone). No time wasted, fast and highly professional. The dishwasher works, excellent job. Thank you
Scam artists beware!!! – Asko spares quoted on parts used: 2 balancing springs-$7 ea. 1 drain hose $13 TOTAL $24 Billed $209 for parts. $231 labour They did not have the parts (repair business with no such parts on hand??) but had to order it in necessitating 2 visits!
Excellent technician – Had terrible experience with this company one year ago, so was very anxious about them coming again! Hemautha came to fix dishwasher & new exactly what he was doing, was very professional & polite, unlike owner of business who was absolutely hopeless! Would recommend Hemautha to anyone, dishwasher fixed on the day.
Utterly reliable – My Bosch oven developed a fault, which was promptly and correctly diagnosed over the phone. The replacement part was installed in due course, and we are baking again on my favourite setting. It would have been a much more expensive exercise to have the repair done by a Bosch technician.
Very good service – A Very good service fixed my washing machine. recommend to everyone A very knolageble technician, friendly. Decent prices. Office responds very quick and polite. Service was promptly, all very good. No more leeks.

Ripped off. Refunded by chargeback – It is difficult to rate this organization as there is no provision for negative ten stars, so I reluctantly gave them the lowest available rating of a single star. Service was requested on a dishwasher. The problem was diagnosed on-site as a kink in the drain hose, even though it had been operating perfectly for 5 years, without any hose movement.… Read more
The repair charge was $99. Unsurprisingly, it didnt fix anything and service was again requested. This time the machine was taken back to their workshop. It was later returned, supposedly after replacing the water pump at an additional cost of $231. Again it didnt work resulting in a third call for service. Back it went to their workshop and a quote was issued for replacement of the PCB (printed circuit board containing most electronic components) and a new thermistor at a further cost of $360. Already $330 ($99 + $231) had been paid and this new charge would have taken it to a staggering $690 on a 5 year old machine. Needless to say, further repairs were declined due to some doubts over the honesty and competence of this organization, after two failed attempts. All those unrelated faults at the same time - Hardly likely. But of course if one continues to replace internal components, eventually they will get it right. The dish washer was partially working prior to the second workshop visit. But when returned without those final quoted repairs, it completely failed when turned on, triggering the circuit breaker. This time whatever they had done had properly stuffed it up, rendering the machine totally useless.
A refund of the $330 already paid was requested, but Do-All Appliance Service never even had the courtesy to respond. Under Australian Consumer Law Competition and Consumer Act 2010, Schedule 2, Section 61, services must be fit and proper for the purpose that they are required. They were requested to fix the dishwasher, but the services provided did not do so, and hence were unfit for the purpose. There was a clear entitlement to a refund in law. When you have an uncooperative organization that wont comply with the law, then one can resort to the courts or VCAT (Victorian Civil Administrative Tribunal) to seek compensation. But unfortunately one has to pay to obtain justice, and have the law upheld. However, fortunately both amounts of $91 and $231 had been paid by credit card, leaving a third option available. Under credit card laws, customers can seek a chargeback from their bank, and there are no fees involved. This was done, and although time consuming, ultimately resulted in the two amounts paid, being credited back into the account. So at least all money wasted was recovered, which will go part way to the purchase of a new dishwasher.
There are two important things to note from this affair First - Never trust Do-(Bugger)-All Appliance Service with any repair work. They are uncooperative and incompetent. It seems once they have your money, they dont give a rodents rear end for you. Second - When you buy any goods or services, pay by credit card only, not cash or any other way. You must also pay using an actual credit account, not through any linked savings, cheque or debit facility. This is important, as you only have the ability to request your bank to do a chargeback of disputed costs originally debited to a credit card account. Use of a credit card for payment in this manner gives consumers a certain degree of protection, against shoddy goods or service providers. ''
Great service – The ignition on our oven wasnt working. But Do all Appliance was able to sort out the problem for us. It was quick fix on the spot, very good service!
Tired with this company – I made big mistake to chose this company for my rangehoods repair. It took 10 days to book a technician to come, after follow up calls and couple of time changes, the technician spent 2 hours to figure out a new motor is needed. The company took another 10 days to place the order of new motor, after I called 5+ time to follow up, then another… Read more
2 weeks later, again, after 3 booking time changes, the technician arrived and even call his office to ask someone google manual for him! That happened on 24 May.
You know what? Today, the rangehood stopped working again! I called this company and a lady told me the earliest day she can send technician over will be next Wednesday! I asked their manager to call back, she promised to have their manager to call me to agree a time!
I am going to check in here everyday, till I receive the call from it's manager and eventually, to get my reangehood fixed!!!
June 12th 2019 Update: Never keeps promise
It took 2 months to change a new motor for my rangehood, 10 days after it stopped working again. Called company and they promised to get manager to call me but never received call. I call them again and they will send technician to bring it back to have a look, time booked as tomorrow afternoon, see how it goes.
Avoid using this company – This review deserves zero stars however it does not allow it to go that low. After several follow ups for a dishwasher repair over a 6 week period, which was a hold up on their end (due to a quote not being submitted for approval) there was finally a repair date set for a specific date and time. The day arrives and confirmation calls were made… Read more
during the appointment window. They did not arrive inside the booked appointment time.
Their office although initially sorry was unhelpful and dismissive, saying the technician was 5 minutes away however they couldn’t guarantee any repair times. Waited the 5 minutes which then rendered me late for work and still no show by the technician.
The technician then called 28 minutes past the end appointment window and even used a story of his van breaking down (which from other reviews is a common excuse). I had to go to work after already taking a half day leave to wait for them, and endure extra cost.
Arranged for another tenant to leave work to return home to find the technician who was supposed to pick up keys was now not arriving at least for another hour and half.
There is more to this incident which I won’t list.
So much trouble and deceit caused by this company and their operators. Avoid them at all cost.
Scammers, avoid at all costs – Still trying to get an oven door fixed. Yep...just the door. 3 months and 12(!) phonecalls later and nothing other 'than the part is on its way'. Complete scammers. Avoid.
Very happy with the service – Got a new cook top ! Amazing work .professional service.came in on time. Girls in the office were wonderful. Highly recommeneded. Will definitely call again. Thanks very much. Happy with everything
Excellent – Had a problem with the ignition on our cooktop Joshua fixed it easily and tightened up a lose screw on our cupboard door! Lovely, professional Excellent service ... highly recommend!!!
Josh's work is perfect – Josh came to our home and fixed the cook top in few seconds. He is very efficient and quick at his work.
Fantastic – VERY HAPPY with the service. Unfortunately, my dryer was not worth repairing but I appreciate their honest advice The girl on the phone was very efficient and polite so was the technician who came the next day. I highly recommend them!.

Avoid – I have used this company for home repairs for many years and they were okay. 5 1/2 week ago they took away my dryer. I was told it would be a week until it would be back! Many phone calls later, twice being told I would be called back and I wasn't, told it would be ready at the end of the week or at the start of next week, told they were waiting… Read more
on parts... They want to charge me $275. They can keep the dryer. Terrible communications and terrible service.
Miele autorised repair – Are they in Melbourne? Trying to get a tech to service my Miele washer/dryer combo. Honest and reliable company. Any advise.
Unethical and Terrible – Real Estate Agent Organised Service - Fisher & Paykel Fridge. They said ordered parts and organised repair for Monday. TXT MSG that day - No show not all parts arrived. Turns out parts weren't ordered for another week and a half. Now tell me parts coming Next Monday ... I'll believe that when I see it. Didn't want to reorganise their schedule… Read more

Said I was rude.
Apparently it is okay for them to be incompetent and dishonest ... That's not rude???
Dishwasher fix – Hi all. Just wanting to thank do all for fantastic service, when I rang on Friday the girl on the phone was very helpful and the technician Cani on the same day. My dishwasher was spitting the tablate out to the floor leaving the dishes dirty. It took the technition a few minutes to fix it. I am certain that he know everything about dishwashers. I… Read more
will recommend them 100 procent. They are fantastic professionals . I now happy again after weeks of frustration. One happy house wife. Thank you very much do all. Miry
Useless – No one showed up to drop off my washing machine. Took the morning of work to be home at the allocated time. When I rang they said the job had not been booked and no-one was coming. Very rube and unapologetic. Useless company.
Unreliable Company – Got hooked up with them through my real estate agent. They were called to look after the dishwasher who needed repair. I got told they have a service window from 9-12 or 1-5 pm where I had to be at home. I made an appointment for 1-5 pm and waited and waited. I called at 4 pm to confirm that somebody is coming and got told very rude that the… Read more
service technician is delayed, at 5 pm, I called again and got told he is coming later. At 6:30 pm still nobody showed up and when I called again, I got answering machine. Nobody showed up. Disgraceful company, not even called to let me know, had to reschedule meetings and take time off work.
Don't take them, totally unreliable company, no customer service at all.
Tried to wriggle out of honouring warranty – It was only after I'd paid for oven repair that I realised I'd had this company previously do the identical repair within the stated warranty period on their invoice. It took at least 10 phone calls, left messages, stalling behaviour by them before I finally threatened VCAT action and obtained a refund. Untrustworthy
