no service from doall allpliance
I rang to have my washing machine outlet hose replaced. No-one asked me for details about the machine. The booking was for 10 days ahead. At that initial call I told them I needed the hose to be replaced as I had ascertained that was were the leak was.
The day before the service was about to happen, they called to check and I reminded them , please bring the outlet hose. Then they asked the questions," OH!! we don't carry F & P Parts will need to get that in".
I asked if it was a family business , and was told "yes" and I said could someone pl...

Excellent job, thank you
Rang to arrange a specialist to look at my dishwasher, which stopped working properly. The receptionist asked precise questions regarding the brand and problems. She was extremely friendly and attentive.
Had a call the same day that the specialist will be at my place next day between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm
The technician came around 12, examined, replaced the motor capacitor (had the spare part in the car, thanks to the initial conversation over the phone).
No time wasted, fast and highly professional. The dishwasher works, excellent job. Thank you

Excellent technician
Had terrible experience with this company one year ago, so was very anxious about them coming again! Hemautha came to fix dishwasher & new exactly what he was doing, was very professional & polite, unlike owner of business who was absolutely hopeless! Would recommend Hemautha to anyone, dishwasher fixed on the day.

Utterly reliable
My Bosch oven developed a fault, which was promptly and correctly diagnosed over the phone. The replacement part was installed in due course, and we are baking again on my favourite setting. It would have been a much more expensive exercise to have the repair done by a Bosch technician.

Ripped off. Refunded by chargeback.
It is difficult to rate this organization as there is no provision for negative ten stars, so I reluctantly gave them the lowest available rating of a single star. Service was requested on a dishwasher. The problem was diagnosed on-site as a kink in the drain hose, even though it had been operating perfectly for 5 years, without any hose movement. The repair charge was $99. Unsurprisingly, it didnt fix anything and service was again requested. This time the machine was taken back to their workshop. It was later returned, supposedly after replac...
Read moreing the water pump at an additional cost of $231. Again it didnt work resulting in a third call for service. Back it went to their workshop and a quote was issued for replacement of the PCB (printed circuit board containing most electronic components) and a new thermistor at a further cost of $360. Already $330 ($99 + $231) had been paid and this new charge would have taken it to a staggering $690 on a 5 year old machine. Needless to say, further repairs were declined due to some doubts over the honesty and competence of this organization, after two failed attempts. All those unrelated faults at the same time - Hardly likely. But of course if one continues to replace internal components, eventually they will get it right. The dish washer was partially working prior to the second workshop visit. But when returned without those final quoted repairs, it completely failed when turned on, triggering the circuit breaker. This time whatever they had done had properly stuffed it up, rendering the machine totally useless. A refund of the $330 already paid was requested, but Do-All Appliance Service never even had the courtesy to respond. Under Australian Consumer Law Competition and Consumer Act 2010, Schedule 2, Section 61, services must be fit and proper for the purpose that they are required. They were requested to fix the dishwasher, but the services provided did not do so, and hence were unfit for the purpose. There was a clear entitlement to a refund in law. When you have an uncooperative organization that wont comply with the law, then one can resort to the courts or VCAT (Victorian Civil Administrative Tribunal) to seek compensation. But unfortunately one has to pay to obtain justice, and have the law upheld. However, fortunately both amounts of $91 and $231 had been paid by credit card, leaving a third option available. Under credit card laws, customers can seek a chargeback from their bank, and there are no fees involved. This was done, and although time consuming, ultimately resulted in the two amounts paid, being credited back into the account. So at least all money wasted was recovered, which will go part way to the purchase of a new dishwasher. There are two important things to note from this affair First - Never trust Do-(Bugger)-All Appliance Service with any repair work. They are uncooperative and incompetent. It seems once they have your money, they dont give a rodents rear end for you. Second - When you buy any goods or services, pay by credit card only, not cash or any other way. You must also pay using an actual credit account, not through any linked savings, cheque or debit facility. This is important, as you only have the ability to request your bank to do a chargeback of disputed costs originally debited to a credit card account. Use of a credit card for payment in this manner gives consumers a certain degree of protection, against shoddy goods or service providers. ''- Incentivised Review No

Tired with this company.
I made big mistake to chose this company for my rangehoods repair.
It took 10 days to book a technician to come, after follow up calls and couple of time changes, the technician spent 2 hours to figure out a new motor is needed.
The company took another 10 days to place the order of new motor, after I called 5+ time to follow up, then another 2 weeks later, again, after 3 booking time changes, the technician arrived and even call his office to ask someone google manual for him! That happened on 24 May.
You know what? Today, the rangehood ...
Read morestopped working again! I called this company and a lady told me the earliest day she can send technician over will be next Wednesday! I asked their manager to call back, she promised to have their manager to call me to agree a time! I am going to check in here everyday, till I receive the call from it's manager and eventually, to get my reangehood fixed!!!- Incentivised Review No
Avoid using this company.
This review deserves zero stars however it does not allow it to go that low.
After several follow ups for a dishwasher repair over a 6 week period, which was a hold up on their end (due to a quote not being submitted for approval) there was finally a repair date set for a specific date and time.
The day arrives and confirmation calls were made during the appointment window. They did not arrive inside the booked appointment time.
Their office although initially sorry was unhelpful and dismissive, saying the technician was 5 minutes away how...
Read moreever they couldn’t guarantee any repair times. Waited the 5 minutes which then rendered me late for work and still no show by the technician. The technician then called 28 minutes past the end appointment window and even used a story of his van breaking down (which from other reviews is a common excuse). I had to go to work after already taking a half day leave to wait for them, and endure extra cost.- Incentivised Review No
Scammers, avoid at all costs
Still trying to get an oven door fixed. Yep...just the door. 3 months and 12(!) phonecalls later and nothing other 'than the part is on its way'. Complete scammers. Avoid.
