I just received my new Robe Milk S fold sheers from dc&b and they are lovely. We are so happy with our blinds. We have a mix of plantation shutters and sheers and could not be happier with the result. advice and suggestions. The curtains and blinds were ready at least a couple of weeks earlier than anticipated which was great. The installation appointment quickly followed and was very straightforward. Our installer took less than the allowed time and cleaned up well afterwards. Very pleased with the excellent communication and service. Very happy with the new fittings. This store is always on our list whenever we need new curtains or blinds.

I was very pleased with Moorabbin,Dollar Curtains and Blinds when they installed blinds for me a year ago. So I returned for sheers and drapes this year. Follow-up · I wanted to replace the floor to ceiling sheer curtains in our loungeroom. I rang several curtain providers for quotes. Dollar Curtains came out within a week with their extensive selection of materials and colours. My curtains were back and hung within 5 weeks from memory. Very happy with price and quality.

Avoid Hoppers Crossing franchise. Quoted a price, discussed if happy with first sheers will do second, then couple weeks later rang said was happy with installation and to go ahead with second and they put up prices $40. Owner squabbles over $40,… Read more
showed no integrity to honour what was discussed. Owner says prices go up in ten days but principle being WAS given a price that they will not honour. They had no recollection, them blamed head office, then blamed prices going up all the time. Quotes on different rooms were also up and down, with mistakes, which had to be argued to receive the proper price quoted (luckily I kept email from original quote). The owner Brett would rather lose rest of house which need drapes over $40 when I patiently waited for delays and wrong rods on two occassions. Please do not use this franchise. Experience was very disappointing with all the manipulation of quoting and errors
Follow-up · No follow up, no email, nothing. The drapes had such a bad chemical smell when he put them up, still hasn't gone away after weeks (some smell is normal because new but this is next level) can no longer use the room. I found out if this happens I should have returned them immediately as it is poor quality. I am now stuck with them. I didn't know about cheap manufacturing

made in Australia you would think that they could be repaired. Not so sustainable and this is wasteful so I had to call Dr Drapes instead. Once I complained the offered to take the track away. Not sure what this meant but I had already organised Dr Drapes to come out. I will definitely go with smaller local business instead next time.

If I could do zero stars I would. We had terrible service from Dollar Curtains and Blinds. They told us we needed to remove a light for absolutely no reason and we wasted money doing so. When we were quoted for a curtain rail in our bedroom we were advised a light would need to be removed, as the curtain needs 10cm clearance from the window to… Read more
hang correctly, and this would put it directly in line with the light. We removed the light at our own cost, and had to have the hole repaired, patched, sanded and painted. This was a great deal of cost and effort to do. Not to mention the plaster dust from having the patch sanded in our bedroom was a nightmare to clean.
When the installer came, I told him we had removed the light as was needed and patched the area. It was not painted at this point yet so you could easily see the patched area. After the installation, I realised the rail did not go through the area where the light was. I called the store and asked why this was the case and to ask if our blind hang correctly as the rail is only 2cm from the window, instead of the 10cm I was told was required.
I was told the curtain would hang fine, but received no apology or accountability about the fact we removed a perfectly functional light in our bedroom for no reason. If the blind will hang fine at 2cm, why did they tell us to remove the light in the first place. I have emailed the store with no response. I think this is horrible customer service and I would advice everyone to run from Dollar Curtains and Blinds as they will force you to spend money on removing lights for no reason.
