Just had new tracks for existing curtains in 4 bedrooms installed plus new roller blinds and a roman blind installed as well. Also a repair to a family room curtain. My mum had a new roller installed behind an existing curtain plus repairs to the bracket on tracks. Rachel from Pakenham Dollar curtain was lovely and the installer Ian and his helper were very helpful and did a great job. Would definitely recommend to everyone.
Curtains have changed the whole look of my Bedroom, Not sure how I lived without them.
We had Roman Blinds and the cords broke due to extreme heat in the afternoon, we were advised Curtains would open up the room and would help with the heat.
Not only does it help with Heat, the room looks so much bigger. Thanks Dollar Curtains
Love our outdoor blinds
We’re beyond happy with our outdoor blinds from the Chirnside Park store. Helpful service in store, installer was lovely and setup the remote and showed us through I how to use it. We ordered a new product called zip screen which the consultant showed us in store and it’s wide width could fit across the expanse of our deck. We love the white hardware colour to match our exterior paint. We’ve used them before for our window awnings and interior blinds, and have been very pleased each time. Thanks again team!
No Communication / Terrible Customer Service
STAY AWAY! Niddrie Store
- Chased them initially for a quote to be emailed
- waited over 9 weeks for two roller blinds
- Now in hindsight, very overpriced
- Installer did not arrive even though I called in the morning to double check timing.
- Picked them up myself and had them installed by my own installer.
- Terrible customer service!!!
VERY disappointed! NOT impressed!
If I could give a lesser star rating (zero) I would give it! My installation, which took three goes to get it right, was nothing less than a saga (four months in total). Then to make it even worse, they damaged my concrete - which they deny accountability and blame it on ‘foundational movements/expansion’. I do not find it a coincidence that on the exact same day when an extremely loud bang was heard, in the exact same area where the young man was working that a surface crack appeared ... where there was no damage on the morning prior to their...appearance. All I can say is, a cheaper quote does not equal a cheaper outcome. I would never recommend them - I have absolute no trust in their quality of work and customer service and with their acceptance of accountability. If you do go ahead in employing them, I suggest you take photos of where they will be working and are likely to tread! Also ... do not pay the full amount till the job is completed and finished to your satisfaction.
Worst experience of my life. Ordered $500+ dollars worth of blinds in December 2020 - told will be installed in February 2021. Hear nothing for 4 months. I CALL in May to check up on order and hopefully cancel as by this stage no longer need them (moving house) - they cant find me, or my order, them make me send copies of receipts and invoices to prove I have ordered and paid for the product. THE BLINDS HAVE BEEN SITTING IN THEIR WAREHOUSE SINCE MARCH!!!! No one bothered to contact me at all during these 5 months. NOW told by [Name Removed] at...Moorrabin QUOTE "they are your blinds, you ordered them, you paid for them. Thanks for the $118 refund does not even over the cost of my time chasing you and arguing with you. - USELESS, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.
Appalling Customer Service
I’ll start by saying our previous contacts with DCB Chirnside Park had gone ok, if not great, but this occasion which was to fit new blinds and curtains throughout most of the house was a catalogue of mistakes, omissions and poor service. They seemed to do their utmost to make us feel irrelevant and a nuisance.
Deleting our current details after we needed to change the appointment date. They managed to keep the old details. We then had to send photos to the shop so they could have the swatches brought out with the person coming to measure up.... Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. After I agreed to go and collect them the next day- they’d had them out but put them all back. Someone finally dropped them off for us. After all that, they never bothered to send a quote out. When challenged about this, they blamed our email, the system then finally hung up on us! Yes, every word is true. I’m sure it’s not the norm, but enough... we’ll not be back!

We were so thrilled with the service from start to finish. From the expert design and advice when picking what would suit our home, right through to the ordering and instal process. Everyone was so delightful to deal with, and even though Melbourne Lockdown and delays, we were kept up to date and it was well and truly worth the wait once they were installed. Not to mention how much we fell in love with how much it updated and made our home that more homely!!

Professional service, great design advice and quality blinds are the the tip of the iceberg. Australian made is a bonus especially in this climate too. Would highly recommend.
