We were in the market for a new bedroom suite.....everything, mattress, base drawers bed head. This was discussed several times, that we were replacing the furniture in a whole room. Unable to find drawers we liked, we eventually chose a mattress, asked about matching bases, which we eventually chose, and then chose a bed head.
Delivery went to plan, delivery guys were polite and did their job well, but when it came for us to put it together, there was no way to attach the bedhead to the bed.
This is where the Domayne dropped the ball. I call...
Dodgy products and bad customer service
Bought a coral centrepiece that had a glass base. It fell apart in the first week I had it. It wasn't glued properly. I called up customer service and they advise they couldn't help me and to put my complaint in writing. So I did... they never replied. To this day I still haven't heard from them.
I went back into the store to voice my complaint there and they supplied me with another coral centrepiece.... and guess what.. same thing happened. Surprise, surprise. Dodgy products, made cheap.
They have always provided really good service
I have purchased a number of items from Domayne Castle Hill and I have always been offered very good service. Latest is new lounge. Choice choice and more choice. Lounge was delivered Saturday, beautifully made but OMG was so uncomfortable and husband and I just hated sitting on it, we just couldn't get comfortable and ended up with bad back pain. I called Monday and they were more than happy to take back. I was happy to pay the cancellation fee and thought this was more than reasonable. I have ordered another lounge. I have to wait another 6 w...eeks but I can live with that. The original purchase... I wanted different legs, didn't want a skirt, wanted different fabric and accessories and extra fabric. Everything I asked for was provided. I went back the following day after purchase to make a change and order more cushions. Nothing was a problem. I was quoted 6/8 week delivery. I received at 6 weeks. I was really happy with service. Staff are so accommodating and I know I can be somewhat painful but they just went out of their way to make me happy and satisfied. Thank you Lillian, Clare and Alicia. I really appreciate your patience and assistance. Delivery guys very pleasant, called beforehand and arrived when they said they would. Have asked for urgent delivery with new lounge (only changed fabric and again no problem for them) fingers crossed we receive quickly.
Domayne Bedding Castle Hill. No so honest.
We spent a lot of money, 15k on 3 new beds at the Domayne Castle Hill store, a lot of hours getting things right understanding this is something you spend a quarter of you life in. Everything was booked and agreed to be delivered 6 weeks after order, date agreed.. We were told there will be No issues as most is stock. 4 weeks later we received a call the Mattress we chose was no good for our bed and it needed to be changed. Off we go back to the store to choose a new mattress.
After the 6 weeks we called to find out if they were delivering ...on the date agreed, only to be told some of the bed is still 4 to 6 weeks away. The worst part in all this is when you get told by the sales person, "you were told it was going to be this long" crap. This was Not true, in fact there were 3 of us there who all knew what was said. So after arguing for 15 minutes over who said what I decided to call Harvey Norman head office to complain, They were good and the sales person called us back advising we can cancel the order if we wanted. We decided to cancel the bed that was still 4 weeks away and agreed to keep the 2 queen beds. Delivery we received the beds and the bed heads but No sides to the bed to hide the frame and to hold the bed head up. Back on the phone to the sales guy and yes more arguing over what he sold us and who said what, even though there were 3 of us present he still believed we only ordered half the bed set and No sides, total lies... The beds were the ones that raise up, so when you raise it up the bed head falls over. He told us to stick it to the wall....We did explain the bedhead and sides were part of a package for $1'300 and it seems like he left them off and put down $850. To make matter worse their dockets are a Woolies like grocery docket with not much info and hard to understand, very silly considering what you are buying. His originally price was 16k and I offered 15k, he accepted my offer but he smartly removed the bed surrounds package and only gave me the bed heads, you have No chance of seeing this on the docket. The total was 15k and he seemed genuine at the time... Sadly in all this we wasted a lot of time and ended up with not much of a good deal we though we had. We were simply out smarted by a shifty sales person in the sake of him making a sale at our expense. If you are to buy beds do some shopping around and get written quoted first, if they won't give you the written quote. I would not buy anything from this store and would suggest to other to do the same, stick with bed specialist and not a bulky good store.

Do not shop at Domayne Castle Hill!
I recently purchased a bed (an expensive one at that, >$4,000) and arranged for delivery the following Wednesday.
I organised for a friend to be at the house through the day on the Wednesday to receive the bed, and before I left for work on the day, I dismantled my existing bed and cleared the bedroom. By the afternoon, when no one had yet arrived, and I hadn’t heard from the delivery person, I rang Domayne to find out when it might be arriving only to find out I had been taken off the delivery run, because...
Tell blatant lies
We ordered a lounge suite and paid half deposit. Was told it would take UP TO 8 weeks for delivery. They also talked us into scotch guard which we thought was a good idea having grandkids. Rang up to see how the order was going and was told it was going to be another 8 weeks. Not happy with this long wait so asked to cancel the order, well if we cancel we incur a 20% charge, not only on the price of the lounge but also on the scotch guard and the $100 delivery fee a total of $460!. How can you incur a cost on 2 things that haven't even happened. Was also told that the salesman shouldn't have told us that it would be 8 weeks and of course he has left. How is that our problem.
I purchased 5 stools during a non sale period. They were out of stock. The time I was told passed & I called in, I was then informed a few more weeks. Sure.
This time passed & I called in again & was then told they were discontinued.
These stools were still on display ?
Besides getting my money back & being disappointed I will never shop at Domayne Castle Hill.
delivery time changed from 3 to 6 weeks and still got the order wrong...in a limbo
ordered dining table over 6 weeks back.was told at time of order it takes appx 3 weeks. After than ETA changed to 4 weeks and after waiting for 6 weeks got the furniture however it was not what we ordered. they took the good back as the delivery guy so it was difference than what was on docket. Not a good experience at all ...still waiting for not only the products but also from someone to tell me what is going on..haven't heard from Domayne.
The worst customer srvice ever
My husband and I ignored all negative reviews we read about Domayne as the fact we found their sales very friendly and helpfull however we didn't know that their customer service is quite different.
We bought many things from Domayne but every time that we needed to talk to someone in customer service it was such a waste of time. Every one you talk to has no authority to actually do a thing .
Today is the third month that we are waiting for our set of tables which had to be delivered in two weeks.

I don't know if this is just the location in castle hill, but i can't believe this company still exists. Where do i begin?
From the moment i first called the store to the moment i now sitting at home waiting for my furniture to be delivered three months later, it has been the worst shopping experience of my life. The manager was rude, never returns calls, the staff made sexually inappropriate comments to my friend while we were shopping ("i could find you a sexy boy"....), i was lied to, a whole tv unit was not added to my order, i was then ...made to feel it was my fault that they didn't order it, they oversold a bed and instead of taking 6 weeks like they promised, it's now taking 4 months, my other items were supposed to be delivered (finally) last week, and it was cancelled last minute and was meant to be delivered today, and when i said it needed to be here asap as i have work, it is now 11am and i am still sitting here twiddling my thumbs, i could go on and on and on, but i am so angry that even on the day i am about to receive some of my order, i am ready to cancel altogether. I can't believe this still happens in the 21st century. I spent thousands of dollars there to furnish my new home, and i really wish i had spent it somewhere else on a worthwhile company. Never shop here!!!!!!!!
Purchased an white plastic wicker outdoor setting ($6000) the wine box, footstool and now table have crumbled and are destroyed. Having been contacting domayne for over 12 months now and still nothing. I will never again shop at this or Harvey Norman again. Their lack of customer service is disgraceful - to add insult to injury - he thought he put me on hold while I heard him have a conversation with a colleague about how they won't do anything. I'm waiting to speak to the manager
