After viewing our table in store and getting a quote from [Name Removed], we clearly explained that our apartment has four flights of stairs and that we would need a 4-man delivery. online there was only an option to pay for standard delivery. [Name Removed] called the next day, and during that conversation we again discussed the need for a 4-man delivery and again made it clear that there were stairs.

When the delivery arrived, the drivers refused to carry the table up the stairs. They also did not appear physically capable of doing so. In the end, they left the table in our apartment car spot. We paid $356 on top of the $99 standard delivery fee for a 4-man service, yet four people effectively showed up and did nothing.

When we called Domayne and spoke to the manager, [Name Removed], she offered no support, care, or practical assistance. She refused to approve a refund for a service we did not receive. She was rude, spoke over me, and made no effort to rectify the issue.

This was extremely disappointing customer service from both the delivery team and store management.

is not covered by warranty, unbelievably poor after sales service, leaving me no choice but to take it further, $6,999 not what I expected! very poor quality, not even a site inspection to view, just pics, extremely poor after sales, Domayne staff just emailed me a notification supplier wasn't going to do anything & neither are Domayne.

submitted our claim. Long behold it is now April 10th 2024 and Guardsman still saying "we are in the process of obtaining quote for your claim". Surprised with the answers given by Guardsman, we then called Domayne, and to our surprised she said there is nothing they can do as we need to deal with Guardsman ourself, this is the answer given by Domayne contact officer Shila and basically told us we are on our own. My question is why would you offer your client to buy useless protection company to which we paid the money to you and clearly Domayne will get profit out of it as well, and only when there is trouble you washes you hands off?

DO NOT BUY STUFF FROM DOMAYNE as they will not help you one bit!

I never write reviews but dealing with Chris at Domayne Warrawong was a spectacular experience. For an indecisive person like me, the idea of fitting out a full kitchen was almost traumatic. I was flustered and had no clue what I wanted Chris was patient, full of knowledge and advice and calmed this nervous Nellie down with a cracking coffee and a laugh. I have made a few purchases from Domayne over the past 2 months. One was an online order which contained curtains and the package they arrived in was ripped to bits. store, who just walked off after I wasn't keen to take my order in bags with broken handles and wanted me to carry them because the bags were not strong enough. We had a lot more shopping and walking around to do, plus I had a white knit top on and was concerned about the dark blue rubbing off from bags, if we had to walk around with them for a few more hours. Contacted Fomaune via their contact form and never had a response...won't be shopping there again.

It was misaligned (due to faulty mechanism) & the leather had severe wear and tear in 1 area. We were reluctant to sign for the delivery but the driver took photos and called it in to raise a case and we were reassured it will be resolved. 

After speaking to the consultant we were advised that someone (a third party called Action Upholstery) would come out and inspect the couch....4 WEEKS later they finally came and advised that the mechanism was damaged during transit and that the leather was normal...apparently that part of the couch was the "stomach of the cow" which has caused the wrinkled effect. I've owned, seen and sat on a lot of leather and never seen leather do this. 

Obviously we were excepting them to replace this modular piece especially as we just paid $8k for a brand new Lounge suite and waited 3 months for it....but after alot of back and forth with the consultant they're now ONLY replacing the mechanism which I had to follow them up after 4 weeks to get sorted. 

My new mechanism (only) has now been installed although now the leather squeaks when you use the recliner. I'm very disappointed and will never shop from Harvey Norman and Domayne ever again after this experience.....In fact the 1 reservation I had from buying from Domayne was the many reviews saying how terrible the after sales support is.

showroom display lounge, which had a much better finish.

I am pleased with the way the matter was handled. The manager was professional and clearly cared about resolving the issue properly.

A special mention also to the delivery driver, who handled the pickup and delivery courteously and efficiently. He also capably assembled the lounges.

It is reassuring to see a business stand behind its products and look after its customers. I remain a very satisfied Domayne Auburn customer.

that it was the compressor and that it was covered under consumer law. Samsung have offered numerous situations whereby they had someone come out to fix it - it didn't work then they offered to decline my warranty but offer me 40% discount voucher on certain fridges (80% of the fridges were not in stock) and now the latest is 30% discount voucher on a french door fridge over 600 litres but again only the specified fridges they allow (never got a list). I have chosen a side by side fridge over 600 litres and they have disagreed and only offered me 10% discount voucher with $50 credit. Domayne I was originally your customer and would like to know if you can do anything about this ridiculous farce by this company Samsung. I don't have an issue with you because you did do the right thing. The last time I rang you was to get the last invoice and I was informed by your staff that I as a customer have every right to seek assistance from you as a company. I am now asking for your advice

I recently purchased a third Stressless recliner from Domayne but when it was delivered, the house was without power so the unit couldn’t be tested after being set up. Tracy and Anna from Domayne customer support provided excellent follow-up support, communicating with me at every step to resolution. The chair is working fine now. The two young men in the warehouse when I picked up my purchase were top class. They helped with loading the purchase onto our trailer, they prepared extra packaging under our item so it wouldn't be damaged then they helped wrapped it in plastic due to predicted rain. back leg'. Due to Covid and industry shut down, we had a long wait for the chair to be returned. Being a 2 people household we rarely need all 8 chairs at once and it wasn't until last November, we identified a chair with a 'wonky back leg'. (Only when we pulled back the stapled cover underneath, we could see that the 'wonky leg' was actually split and had been jammed inside the cavity.) Last November (2024) we contacted Domayne about it and were asked to wait until after Christmas to return the chair due to manufacture shutdowns over Christmas. We delivered the chair on 9th January 2025 to the Fortitude Valley store and today (13 May 2025) it is finally be returned. On both occasions, communication has been extremely poor throughout - no initiation on their part. If we didn't phone Domayne, we just didn't hear anything. We have been offered a $50 voucher for our inconvenience. We said the price of the chair should be refunded based on the collective time we have actually not had the chair (and when we did have it, it was not in perfect condition). Anna Gerifae (Proprietor) stated she was not giving us a 'FREE CHAIR' and we had another seven that we could have used. She said her notes stated we had been given a 'NEW CHAIR' and despite the chair having been lost for a period, she said she was not offering anything else. As herself and the Operations Manager were fairly new to the store, she knows nothing about the first instance and could only go by the notes and the issue was really with the Transport Company. All in all, poor customer service and support! Sadly for Domayne, as loyal customers, we will not be returning for any future purchases.

few months fair trading got back to me with domayne refused to do anything with the lounge apart from a repair that I had to pay for. Fair trading told me that by Australian standards they were supposed to offer the first repair free regardless of age. fair trading told that the only avenue was to take the matter to court, and that the beleived this was a major matter and because of that I would be entitled to a refund. I decided that I would take the matter to court as this was the only avenues left. The other issue was that we where told that by the salesperson this product was made in Australia using Australian leather but throught the process we discovered that this product was infact made in China. Took the matter to court and at the hearing was offered a free repair but in doing so I wouldn't be allowed to leave any reviews. I refused the repair as I beleive people should know how domayne penrith deal with their customers. The court ruling went against me, the matter found to only be a minor fault contrary to what fair trading beleived. The offer to repair was gone but I'm happier as I rather have the lounge repair at my cost with products that I beleive are better then the chinise products that would have been supplied and I am able to make this review. As for the matter that we where told this lounge was Australian made, the only evidence we had was affidavit from me and my wife saying such but this was not enough evidence. I will never buy from any domayne again and my suggestion to any thinking of doing so either record and have written down anything your told because you may need it in court.

being pushy, and didn’t mind when we took our time. We visited the store a number of times over the week as we sorted out the particular sofa and fabric choices. We saw Jessie each time and she always greeted us by name and always remembered the details of what we had previously discussed. She is a real asset for Domayne. I purchased a laptop online during Black Friday sales only to get an email the next morning saying they were out of stock and it would take a MONTH to order in. After a lot of back and forth on their support chat, I learned that only ONE Domayne store in Australia (Warrawong NSW) actually stocks tech products to supply ALL online orders across the country - which is why everything is 'on back order' all the time. They did give me a refund on request, but by the time it processed in the 3-5 days, I'd missed out on Black Friday prices elsewhere. I'd never take the chance of ordering from them again, knowing they'll accept my payment and not let me know a product isn't in stock until afterwards. Just like dropshippers, the online storefront is responsible for ensuring stock levels are accurately communicated to customers, even if a specific store is 'assigned to fulfil the order' - and Domayne Online are not being transparent about stock. If they've notified customers post-order that the product is out of stock, they have the awareness to display it as out of stock on the website too.
