completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the food preparation and hygiene practices at this particular store.

It makes me question whether the staff are changing their gloves when preparing vegetarian pizzas or whether the same pizza cutters and equipment are being used for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian orders without proper cleaning.

For someone who specifically orders vegetarian food, finding meat in their meal is not a minor mistake. It is a serious breach of trust and shows a concerning lack of attention to customers’ dietary requirements.

I sincerely hope someone from Domino’s management reads this review and provides a proper explanation of how something like this could happen and what measures will be taken to prevent it from happening again.

I will also be attaching my purchase receipt as proof of the order and the store involved, so there is no confusion or dispute later about where this pizza was purchased.

ME: What?????? I responded with; After reading your response, i was extremely annoyed. It was as though an AI was responding to me with a selected format. I have let it go and thought, i will have a think about my response so i don't just sound as frustrated as i was.

1) has this franchise been taken over by someone else? 2) what exactly does 100% satisfaction guarantee mean?

The reason i ask these questions is because if the franchise has changed hands, then it is quite possible that they would make the same pizzas the same dry and overcooked way again. Also, i said of the three pizzas we ordered only one was accepted as edible by my eldest daughter and that was the garlic Stuff Crust Loaded Pepperoni. So why only one Voucher and why not a refund?

My New Yorker i threw in the bin as i could not get anyone to even try it that's how dry and disgusting it was. As for the mini Box Garlic one my youngest ordered she only picked and ate at the middle as the outer was burnt and dry.

I have a friend who has a pizza shop in Adelaide and i have helped him on many occasions making pizza and we all know that some pizzas with less toppings should be slide in further onto the conveyor of the oven otherwise Yes, they will burn. And some items like Lasagna we used to run them through twice.

The fact that we were not even 50% satisfied, little lone 100% satisfied with our order and the fact that we travel 100kms round trip to get the meal is just a kick in the face when you offer a 1 pizza replacement coupon that has to be used within your time frame. We are country people and driving through Cobdogla, Barmera, Glossop, Berri and onto Renmark to pick up a $20 odd dollar pizza with a fuel bill of around $35 in diesel to pick it up is just not feasible.

Also, why just one pizza, does my daughters mini box meal not count? I mean even her pizza was not cut at all??

I should have known something was not right as every Wednesday night when my Oldest Daughter has Cadets we would get Dominos or Maccas. taking the drive further from Berri to Renmark. I would place an order as the last order of the night set at 9pm as my daughter would finish cadets at 9:30pm so i would pick up and get back to Berri for her. This was the only time the food was already in their warmer when we arrived at 8:55pm 5 minutes before the time. Every other time the guys were just about to put the meal in the oven when we arrive. Like i said this time i had not ever seen these guys, they were new to me and obviously hopeless at making pizza.

If we did get replacements, are they going to be the same junk. I have spoken with many people since and was surprised at how many people told me they would never go back to Dominoes again as they keep getting disappointed. Your pictures of the food looks great, but the taste and quality is lacking. We have travelled back and forth between SA, NSW, VIC, QLD and sometimes would arrive at a motel for the night and just order a Dominos. The difference between a Pepperoni at one place to the next is just unbelievable. One time in Dubbo the pizza was so oily the box started to come apart from the oil. It's about time someone in your head office got off their butt and started doing some quality assurance checks on these franchises.

I think the only solution to this matter is a full refund. I won't even charge you for the fuel bill and time i wasted to pick up this junk they called food.

trying to resolve the issues professionally, my recent experience became even more concerning.

For this particular order, I specifically requested 2 Large Deep Pan Spicy Pepper Paneer pizzas and 1 Large Thin & Crispy Spicy Pepper Paneer pizza. Despite making the request clearly, the store prepared all three pizzas as Classic Crust.

What is even more frustrating is that nobody bothered to properly confirm the order with me before preparing it. I was told by the manager during pickup that they had called me, but that was not true. The store only contacted me after the pizzas had already been made, and they had proceeded with preparing the pizzas without getting my confirmation or permission.

When I arrived to collect the order, instead of trying to find a reasonable solution, the manager was extremely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. The manager was apparently more interested in cancelling my order and telling me to go somewhere else rather than listening to my concern and resolving a very simple customer service issue.

I was even told, “Don’t come to my store again,” because I had previously raised complaints about the service and pizza quality. I was also told to go to another Domino’s store, and this was said in front of other people.

This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable from someone representing a major brand like Domino’s. Customers have every right to raise genuine complaints when they receive poor service or an order that does not match what they requested. Making complaints should not result in a customer being treated disrespectfully or being told that they are no longer welcome at a store.

I chose not to argue with the manager at the time. I did not say anything disrespectful back because I have enough self-respect to walk away from an unnecessary confrontation. However, staying quiet should not be mistaken for accepting this behaviour.

The bigger concern for me is the complete lack of professionalism and accountability. Mistakes can happen in any business. If the store had simply acknowledged the mistake, apologised and tried to resolve it, I would have understood. Instead, the situation was made much worse by the way I was spoken to and treated.

I am therefore asking Domino’s Pallara management, the store owner/franchisee and Domino’s higher management to seriously investigate this incident, including the previous complaints I have made, the order details, the communication records and the conduct of the manager involved.

Customers should not be made to feel unwelcome simply because they have raised legitimate concerns about the service they received.

I hope Domino’s takes this feedback seriously and provides appropriate training and accountability to ensure that other customers are not treated in the same manner.

This is not simply about a pizza being made with the wrong crust. It is about respect, customer service, professionalism and how a customer is treated when something goes wrong.

I would appreciate a proper response from Domino’s higher management rather than another generic response or an ignored complaint.

will never ever buy from Domino's again. It was cheaper and better quality, larger quantity from a local Italian restaurant which we ordered after receiving the drop off.

Essentially, if you order a large pizza from Dominos now the best you can hope for is to feed one not very hungry adult. That's it. And it's very expensive.
