already put a note of instruction his respond was he did not read the note, I explained that groceries cannot be left outside, his attitude was disgusting, he refused to listen, was dismissive, and hung up on me while I was still speaking. This behaviour is completely unacceptable, and I expect this matter to be investigated.

Ordered at 8:45 PM. By 11:00 PM, still no driver. The restaurant actually had to call me to ask if I was coming to get it because DoorDash never sent anyone and they were closing. When I tried to resolve it via chat, the agent(Raj) closed the session on me while I was typing.In Australia, we have consumer rights for a reason. contact centre didn't seem to care, all I got is it's been escalated and you've been denied. I asked if they rang the driver which they said they hadn't. They obviously don't have reputable people, working for them with police checks done on them. What a utter disgrace doordash. I don't know how you get away with ripping people off.

Very very difficult to obtain a refund, repeated requests were denied. The customer service is frustrating, unhelpful and unresponsive to cusomer concerns. They simply don't care. Perishable food delivered unrefrigerated or not in insulated bags - Products melted and no food safety ! Go with Uber Eats - much better ! Show details

been taken out by DoorDash anyway. I called the customer service and was told they would process the refund within 24hours. A couple of hours later, I reordered the groceries with another card and the order went through fine. I called my bank, and they told me they could see the $299.85 had gone to DoorDash but their was a refund from Doordash pending back into my account.

48hours later there was no refund in my bank account. I called Doordash and was told to speak to my bank, that the payment had failed and there was to be no refund. The customer service woman was borderline aggressive. I asked for a transaction history to be sent to my email and she said she couldn't do it. When I asked more questions about processes, she shut me down and yelled over the top of me continually "will there be anything else?".

I called my bank, and they said they could no longer see a refund pending into my account, and that Doordash had taken the $299.85 on that initial day. They advised me to speak with Doordash again.

I called Doordash the next day, and the customer service man told me he could see no record of an order at the time I was saying it occurred. He could only see a transaction of the order that went through a couple of hours later that day with the different card. I told him that I have now lost $299.85 because Doordash has taken my money out but left no trace of the transaction. My app account also showed no history of the failed order. At this point, I had been told 3 different things from Doordash customer services and I was getting very concerned.

I wrote an extensive email with screenshots of the error message to the only support email I could find on their website, which was probably to a whole different department in their company. I used the chat bot option on the app for support, which let me to a customer support person who told me the refund should be in my account within 7 business days.

I called my bank back and filed a dispute claim. Because it was going to take up to 8 weeks, I decided to call Doordash and ask for a manager/someone who could explain their processes and why I've received different answers from every person I've spoken too.

The supervisor I spoke to was very unhelpful. She said they have paid a refund and I should have it in my bank, she said I was due to have a refund of $287.95, which is not the right amount that was taken out. She repeatedly told me to talk to my bank. I asked why I was told their has been no transaction, and no trace of a transaction or refund and she couldn't give me a reason. She did apologise, but was very unhelpful. By this point I had completely lost faith in the company. Either their app glitched, my bank swallowed the payment and it's in the ethos of digital currency, or Doordash received the payment with no trace and there's no avenues for their staff to trace it back to know to refund me. However, there was no interest in helping me. How many others has this happened to? Surely I'm not the first person who's had the app glitch on them like that.

I am frustrated with the lack of effective customer service, that the customer service people outright lied to me just to get me off the phone and one person became aggressive just while I was asking questions about their processes in a normal tone.

I will say, when the order went through normally with the other card, I received my groceries within 2 hours, and the dasher was a lovely man who packed everything really well. My issue here is purely with Doordash customer support.

I just hope this doesn't happen to anyone else, and that they improve their customer support processes.

Would have preferred to give zero stars. Wrong order delivered! This wrong order was left directly on the porch floor even though I paid a 'bag fee'. Avoid at all costs

Their drivers are absolutely useless, no training no knowledge and businesses don’t care or take accountability!! They stuffing up orders and deliveries and seems no one care to fix the problem. I had multiple issues with my most recent order. I naively attempted to contact customer service only to get errors at every turn. Try to look at past orders, error, try to open the help tab, error. mins, order arriving with completely wrong items, these ARE valid concerns people SHOULD be able to report. I've only started using DD regularly recently, because I was fed up with ubereats's customer service, but at least they had SOME available points of contact, even if they were terrible AI ones!! It feels like both services have completely stopped caring about customer service standards since menulog left taking all the competition out of the market.

My 12 years old son ordered food via DoorDash. The order has been delivered to the wrong address. After complaining to their customer service, they declined the refund, telling that we have reached the limit of compensation. It is a lie as he never ordered from Doordash previously. Took a photo and put it straight in the bin. Even with evidence DoorDash wanted zero to do with it. They said they reviewed it, no refund, and kept closing chats on me.

Absolutely crazy to me that this sort of thing can be allowed to happen in Australia. They deserve worse than one star ratings.

enough lead time! I requested a 440pm delivery … and then after multiple failed attempts at reaching out for help regarding the order status, (it continued to show “waiting for driver”…. I was told to just wait for the order and it should arrive. It arrived stone cold at 5.30pm. 2 HOURS after the preorder! The app had plenty of notice to find a driver. Again, I tried to reach out to help service about my issues and was told sorry you don’t qualify for compensation of any kind and “have a nice night” (after also being told my order would be an additional $11 on top of the original price and my card was charged without question). I was then sent a survey 15mins after the food arrived! Pathetic service! Have deleted the app and will never use again.

the store not our address rang to discuss and was told you should have made a complaint right away, explained we were told we would be refunded yhe $90 so didn't make a complaint until Monday when we were charged then contacted door dash the told us that the time to complain was past....under 48 hours later Avoid this place and door dash completely discussed by both the take away and door dash.

Fortunately, I came across information from Brisbane Aldi announcing home deliveries via DoorDash. In my pain and stress, I did not check reviews of the quality of this company's services. However, I did learn about its American origins by visiting its website. Forced by necessity, despite my current negative associations with “Americanism,” I decided to give this company a chance. I have already completed my first order. I am pleased to report that all 13 products ordered, including two 15 kg plastic 24-bottle staples, were delivered as ordered and carried up the stairs to the first floor in approximately half an hour. The only reservation is the half-melted frozen vegetables, suggesting a lack of “eski”on board the courier. So far – so good!

Placed an order with McDonalds at 11:45am, it was on its way at 11:48am, at 11:52 my El Macco was handed to me by the amazing Tahir, fresh.. fries crispy. An example of how things could be if all were as great as this man. I pray you will all experience it someday.

currently have physical card, they offer zero compromise. DoorDash is lagging behind and causing unnecessary delivery failures. I have deleted my account. Digital drivers license is legal ID standard, preferred by police. Fix your policy.

any form of assistance. I have NEVER had an issue with door dash, until today. Despite my patience of attempting to rectify this issue, they continue to 'apologise' and reject any form of help. For the future, do not order bulk items, just go to costco and buy it yourself. The fact that the missing item was not even compensated just goes to show the lack of care they have. This has left me very un-satisfied as I would personally aim to have better customer service and problem solving.

Never again , it states 24 minutes delivery , waited 30 for driver then he had a couple stops before delivering my order . All up over 1 hour for cold food didn't eat it . Door dash should rename with snail in the name. learn my lesson
