When the machine needed a new bag i ordered a $200 full pack of parts from Dreame. Seems simple enough right? Well no... Error 1- they sent the wrong parts. Error 2 - After 3 emails and once they figured out that the issue was real BUT they held my $200 order to ransom until i paid to return their box of individual bags (the postal would cost more than the bags!!).
Error 3 - They double/triple down and won't send what i already paid money for until i pay to fix their mistake.
Does this sound like a reputable operation?
Eventually any Dreame customer will need parts - that's when it turns into from DreamE to NightmarE

that comes with it and spare parts, saves you heaps of money down the line. I add a few drops of lavender oil to the mop solution to make our house smell devine. We have 4 animals and now never have a hair in sight. Get the little things off the floor first and you’ll be fine. It doesn’t like vacuuming up pens etc.. highly recommend reading manual back to front. Don’t just wing it. Ours does mop/vac on carpet, lino and wood easily and effectively. Happy vacuuming!

This thing is a Game changer – Absolutely love my Dreame L10s Plus Robot Vacuum and Mop. I love that I can control it through the App on my phone and that it has lots of extra features. Very happy – Probably the best robot vacuum I’ve owned, and I’ve tried quite a few! It doesn’t get easily stuck on things and it does a decent job washing the floor (I have dogs so do it daily). Best purchase ever – I researched for a few months and settled on this model. I absolutely love it. Easy to set up and use. Only thing I need to work out is how to get it to go over the threshold to my bathroom. I've got 2 cats and my floors were always covered in cat hair- even a few hours after vacuuming. Impressed to say the least – This robot vacuum is super intelligent and the sensors are very accurate. It hardly ever touch the walls or furniture and it doesn’t fall off steps. not disappoint, just need to adjust the degree of wetness to suit the floor. The auto self emptying function is a breeze. I’m very happy with the end result of my floors (wood and tiles). I’ve always thought a robot vacuum is only for those with big houses but after using the Dreame L10S, I recommend this to anyone who wants a clean floor, especially those who are time poor or have dust allergies. Thank you for Dreame for a great product.

carpeted home. On the first day it has done a great job of mapping each room and setting them up correctly in terms of doors and so on, something the previous app failed to get right nearly every time, merging three living spaces into one single room for example, but not the Dreame. The cleaning performance has been pretty good so far, i've only run vacuum cycles but it has again performed better than the previous robot in terms of what it has picked up, the path it takes, its adherence to cleaning preferences set up in the app and its ability to navigate a few obstacles in its way. I've yet to try the mop as I did this manually a few days ago, and might do it again just to give it a more thorough clean before letting the robot have a go, its not going to be an easy breezy process but I didn't want to pay nearly $4k to get that, i'm fine with manual water tanks and mop pad cleaning so will see how that goes. The app has been brilliant so far - its clear enough and does a great job and the ability to customise and change things is pretty good. I will say setting it up and connecting to Alexa thew up a couple of issues, the directions on the website aren't what was on the printed bit of paper and I attempted the former first which didn't work... after reading that slip of paper though and getting a different app it worked without fault, connecting to both wifi and the app and alexa first go without any problem. The configuration of rooms was fine, but setting up preferences and order of rooms was a little harder and the app didn't feel like it was trying to help, it was somewhat buried in a place that to me was not obvious, and I found it more by accident than clear design... its a bit like all things from China (my car included), its not obvious to English as a first language how something works and you certainly do have to just sit down and go through settings, menus and press buttons and tap things until you find what you want... for example like my car this app seems to use the term 'open' rather than 'on (or off)'..... so I strongly suggest Dreame do some tutorial videos and put them online for each of the apps and geographic locations its operating in. Overall though, I am so glad my Ecovacs wheel failed because it finally meant I could be rid of that awful app and device and justify buying a new robot, and I am very happy I decided to go with this one so far. Long may that continue. My only other dislike is that i've looked at the consumables at Harvey Norman and others and for a roller brush, a few bags and a couple of side brushes they want $249NZD, that is simply extortion, and Dreame seems to be pricing them in the same sort of ballpark... that is far from reasonable and I hope as they make more sales in AU/NZ the price of these comes down otherwise I'll be sticking with the knockoff versions.
Quick up date a couple of weeks on. My initial impressions are spot on, the quality of the work Dusty Springclean has done in both vacuum and mopping modes has been nothing short of excellent. I'm impressed that I can add the water to the tank and it just goes off about its day, vaccuming rooms then mopping where its setup to do so, then navigating back to carpet areas without any evidence of water from the mops at all. Sure, a top model fancy self cleaning all singing all dancing would be great, but honesty, pulling off the mop pads and washing them is no big drama, the time the whole robot vac saves in my life is vast compared to five minutes to add water or throw mop pads in the wash. I honesty cannot find any fault with this product at all.
Now some months on, was at Harvey Norman looking at the prices for the flash new robots yesterday because they were next to the counter, wow, price madness. All I can say is this dreame l10s does what I need and it does it all exceptionally well. Unlike ecovacs it doesn’t muck up maps, merge rooms or just loose the map entirely, unlike ecovacs it’s been flawless in its cleaning, it’s mopped well and it goes about its scheduled cleans quietly and efficiently, unlike that ecovacs I had before. Regrets, absolutely none other than the price for the consumables from reputable outlets but shop around. Do online searches and you will find the bits you want, they won’t all match exactly it seems but that isn’t a vast loss. I really couldn’t be happier. You don’t need to spend the price of a small car for flawless clean floors.
Its now been ten months of ownership approximately and Dusty Springclean continues to do an amazing job, she is efficient, she does what she says she will do in terms of both the maps, the cycle and the clean versus mop or both in the right places around the house. I've not had a single map failure (unlike with Ecovacs) and despite reasonably often moving furniture or carpet mats about Dusty continues to do well, I don't think I've found her trapped or tangled in anything yet either. She does turn over the edges of the carpet mats now and then which is a bit of a trip hazard, and some days she is just a bit too loud, but overall I'm still very impressed by this machine, the software and the performance. I imagine by this point this model is probably no longer available, but for future reference or those who may buy these second hand I hope this is a useful review.
April 2026: Less than two weeks before its 1st anniversary the motor died, robot roaming about but not picking up anything. Took in to Harvey Norman and was told they would send it off to dreame for assessment. It was pretty obvious it simply didn't suck but evidently that's their process. I was told to contact Dreame myself direct as that could speed things up. I then ended up in a perpetual loop between Harvey Norman, Dreame & the repair company. I said given this is a major failure, under the CGA it should be replaced, response was it has to be assessed AND this model is no longer available. I ended up having ongoing conversations with Dreame, with usually a day or two lag between each email and a different person sending them. Harvey Norman seemed unable to even clarify when it had been sent off, let alone where it was in the process. It took two weeks I think in total for it to be returned, motor replaced and the device factory reset. Upon picking it up I was given the wrong one, it was someone else's robot in a box, so after discovering that I had to go back and swap it for my one. They apologised and gave me a box of free bags for my trouble.
So a couple of observations, neither company seems to think it should comply with the CGA, the repair work is outsourced to another company who seem to have done an ok job, but the work itself is not warrantied over and above the original warranty - a new motor should get a new warranty but not with Dreame it doesn't. The device being factory reset meant my maps and set up were gone, although you'd assume that all lives in the app and the cloud, nope, it doesn't and if you factory reset (or they do) be prepared to need to remap and set up your home again from scratch. Harvey Norman seem to work very hard not to do the right thing, I was told if it proved to have been unfixable (which was at their discretion not mine) then the next model up would have to be provided and I'd have to pay the difference or could have a refund - I personally think if the model you own is no longer available in NZ (it still is in AU), then that's not on me, that's on the retailer/manufacturer to make right..... the only good experience was from the actual repairer, they were helpful and offered good advice. Dreame and Harvey Norman were both completely lacklustre. Who knows what the next twelve months might reveal, but I don't hold out a lot of hope for the longevity of this product anymore. My previously glowing review has been significantly dented by this experience, and I"m afraid I'd no longer recommend this product or this retailer because any goodwill they previously had was decimated by this journey. It should have simply been replaced, HN should be able to look at a product in the store, admit it doesn't work and just replace it, not make a customer jump through hoops and loops, give them the wrong product, try to upsell another one and then consider a box of bags ($25?) is enough of an apology. Anyways, that's my update.

27/01/2024, and the machine was delivered approx. 1 week later. Until approx. 15/12/2024 this machine has mostly done a surprisingly good job of vacuuming and mopping ceramic tile floors and vacuuming carpeted floors. The machine was purchased because of a strong recommendation by a family member, and one of us has mobility issues. It is still under a 2 year warranty. In mid December the Dreame L10 Prime stopped vacuuming any surface, however it would still mop the hard floors. I wrote an email, (AND GAVE MY PHONE NUMBER), to inform Dreame of our issue, and we were asked, by return email, to register the machine on their site. I attempted to do just that; the process is that we need to set up an account, and we need to wait for a verification number from Dreame. Only trouble is I don’t receive a verification number. When we try to call by phone several times; there is no answer! I have asked Dreame by email, to provide a solution, the first time they answered by email they gave me steps 1,2,3, however, none of this worked. The second time, 6/01/2025, they have not answered my email. I have tried to make contact, by email, 8/01/2025, early-ish morning, and now, 9/01/2025, late in the day, still no answer approx. 36 hours later. So I resorted to a report on product review.com.au. Product Review asked us to seek mediation with Dreame directly. Since then I have updated my report, which is what you are reading right now. I have updated my star rating from one star to 3 stars. If we had received a call early in the process, I am almost certain we would have rated Dreame as 5 stars. These people are leaving us with a largely useless machine because their process does not work. AMAZINGLY, as soon as we were able to speak to someone, the process issues went away, and the experience was excellent. 3 weeks later, we call them up, and it is ready for pick-up. Upon pick-up, we were told we would need to reprogram the robot via the phone app. We then found there was no barcode to make the phone app work the machine. So we rang them and spoke to [Name Removed], (Yay someone answers the phone), he was exceptionally patient, as I have few tech skills. He spent likely 30 minutes at least making the issue go away. We have had the robot vacuum/mop back for a couple of weeks now. All is good. I think that Dreame is likely a quality item, and I also think that it is likely that there may have been no staff available from before Christmas, til well into January, except maybe a skeleton staff. BUT, Just inform us of that, by whatever means is available!!! Super simple and highly effective – Bought in Dec-24. Have owned older robotic cleaners. Impressed with self-mapping and sensor technologies. Took time to set up routines, which is now paying back with ability to tailor routines and do spot cleans. Both mopping and vacuum are effective. Love the self service water top up etc. App tells you when you need to replenish water or undertake maintenance. Is now doing 90% of our floor cleaning tasks. Show details · 1
Good but mops loop pile carpet – Great vacuum, ok mop - not super good but better than nothing. I still need to do a hand mop once a fortnight but it is ok to keep things clean in-between.
