and said that will be an extra $10 .00 because it is a graphite shaft and the guy doing the repairs will have to use a mask. ( I kid you not). We said that is not on ,as wearing a mask is part of their PPE attire along with glasses , gloves etc. So with in 2 mins no more club cut down new grip installed and job done. NOW IF THIS IS A NEW SELLING TECHNIQUE OF DRUMMONDS THEY WILL HAVE LOST ME. !!!!!!!!!

Follow-up · Yes the quote was itemised as we choose the grip type and size.No, no solution was offered as we refused to pay the extra. The mask was for safety reason i can only imagine ,as they were cutting graphite,which as stated before should be part of their Ppe gear. Behind closed doors how would have know whether they used PPE gear ar all.!
Unfortunately I didn’t have a good experience getting my clubs from Drummond Buderim. I regret not looking at the covered ones when purchasing and when I took them for my first lesson, there was a dint in the Driver. Took them straight back as under… Read more
warranty but refused saying I had dropped them. Which I hadn’t. The shoes which I paid $200 for were useless as was told they would stretch. Not so and gave them away. I feel the whole interest was not on me being a customer. Never really spent time with the buggy setup and struggled for awhile with it. I have never returned to the store and don’t recommend it to others. I must say the Melbourne office was more obliging and I received a new Driver.
Follow-up · The shoes were Sketchers Golf shoes. Buggy was nearly $400 without instruction booklet. New driver looks great without a dint. If I have concerns, my golf Club’s s Pro Shop is excellent. No need to go elsewhere.

promptly, but they had made sure it had a personal touch. The packaging was so secure they could have fallen off the truck and came delivered to me without a scratch. All codes on the product to the individual wrapping were a match wich tells me that they were still brand spanking new from taylormade factory. I would also like to state that this order was made in 2 different orders not just 1 complete order and still all arrived within 3 days. Outstanding job from your staff!.

pushy. when i have engaged them about something specific, again, they are not pushy, and are very helpful. this has been the case each time i visit.
my last visit i was after taylormade stripe and px5 balls with the triangles. the staff member that assisted me told me stripes weren’t being made right now but helped me get the others, without being pushy to try sell me more than what i came in for.

I was in the Osborne Park store and all I can say they prey on non golfers who think they can hit new clubs further by putting them on their simulators. I’m a low single figure handicapper and I know approximately what it hit. I hit a 7 iron around 150meters but on the machine it is 170 meters. on average off the deck. I tried a 7 wood and it was telling me I was hitting it 220 meters. This has happened a few times there I once tried a 2 iron what I did buy from someone else but there it was saying I hit it 240 meters. I’m 55 years old and no way I could hit an iron that far. Yes they have a good range but there sales tactics are so wrong in trying to fool us that you will hit it further by jacking up there simulator
Poor service – Visited Carnegie (VIC) store a few hours ago. Three staff on duty. No other customers in the store. I spent 15-20 minutes browsing racks and no one made any attempt to serve me. and when at the desk I said “it’s self serve here “ - no response. One of the staff was on computer playing solitaire. Sales attendant was polite and efficient but not enough to make me ever return.
Golf Balls Unavailable Online – Went online to buy some golf balls, tried Srixon Q Star Tour no stock, tried similar for Taylormade then Titliest all no stock. Tried to validate my Drummond Membership number to register and it just kept spinning. As I have gift cards I need to use Drummond Online as there are no stores local. Extremely poor experience.

How can they show discounts without showing prices? – I was looking for a golf bag at the Burwood, Victoria store. They were all marked with 10% and 15% discounts, but no prices were shown. That really bugged me. I was there for five minutes looking, and the staff ignored me. I drove to The Golf Clearance Outlet in Oakleigh ... prices on everything and very helpful service. brimmed hats. None of which was the one I wanted. He said that’s all they had,I mentioned that on the website it said available in store. He replied that head office look after the website they wouldn’t have more brimmed hats until a new shipment arrived. I have two issues. One if it says a product is available in store, why isn’t it? Two, we are not half way through summer and they only have three brimmed hats available. That is ridiculous. As I said, this isn’t the first time I have experienced this but it will be the last. I will not be visiting Drummonds website or store again. Ever.

Men’s and women’s clothing – I just visited Drummond golf at Kotara and nice to see their men’s clothing is looking a lot more modern. Would love to see a big improvement on the women’s range, a lot of younger women playing now days and clothing choice is very limited. Show details
Never by from the online store – This mob will never accept responsibility for their mistakes. They always try to blame the buyer when something goes wrong with a delivery that gets returned dfue to what they say is your fault for giving an incorrect address. They used to be a good outfit to deal with, but sadly after many years dealing with them, no more, you just cant trust them.
Disappointing – I ordered 2 clubs and was told they would be at the store in 5 days because they don't have trouble getting stock. Well it's 2 weeks and I still don't have my clubs. Don't promise if you can't produce
Terrible experience – Placed an order online for a new set of Wilson irons. 6 weeks later and numerous emails with rude and condescending replies my clubs eventually arrived. Never again will I purchase anything from this joke of a company. Be warned, Drummond golf are happy to take your money but slow in delivering.
Casula - "Price beat GUARANTEED" misleading and deceptive – The site, phone and ever single thing on Drummond's Website state that they will price beat any identical product in stock. Casula does not honour this. They will either decline or price MATCH.

Membership is a rip off – For man years i have shopped at Drummonds, until they have become way too expensive. The last straw was a couple of days ago when i went to use a gift card i had been given. him how this was possible as not long ago i bought some clubs and was told i was a member and got the members discount, he said i was only a local shopper and not a member. Being from the ACT i supported this store since it first came here and have always trusted them. When they first opened i went along and gave them my details and over the years i have always assumed i was a member, now this young person told me i had to pay $40.00 to get a membership. I declined and left the products behind i was going to purchase. I get the impression from their advertising that they are the cheapest outlet, they are not and there are a number of online shops that leave them behind, especially when it comes to getting good customer service.

have understood if they could only offer store credit. Was basically told too bad, so sad. So, rather than losing out on what could have been a simple $200 that would have been spent in your store, you lose all my future custom, and that of the 6-8 people I regularly play with who were equally aghast at your response. This is not a franchise we will return to.
Sales staff have poor knowledge consumer law. MGI golf buggy built in obsolescence – I have an MGI golf buggy and it needs a repair. I was told as it is seven years old the parts are no longer available and it can not be repaired. I was not happy. I was told by sales person to speak to MGI directly. This is a breach of consumer law. If you have a problem with a product you return it to the seller.
Awesome shop! – Super friendly and helpful with purchases. Staff go above and beyond to inform you on their products. Now having some golf lessons there to improve my game!
Drummond Casula - FANTASTIC!!!!! – Went to Drummond Casula to buy a pair of golf shoes. The service was so wonderful and caring and attentive that I bought 3 pairs!!!! could try some different ones as you are always told “try before you buy” but this was greeted with a confused look and gave me a tapped up wedge to try out of the dozen or so brands there I got one to try with tape on it....
So with my $250 and some extra thrown on top voucher I ended up with two new Cleveland RTX Zip core wedges that I don’t know if I like.
Surely thought a chain the size of Drummond would have clubs to hit especially recently released clubs for people to try instead of walk in what’s your budged and buy these pretty ones....

I made I insisted on speaking with the manager, who was actually the person that sold me the clubs. He felt the need to ask me what I did for employment and state that he had been in sales for 25 years and I am no more important that the other hundred people waiting for an order. I then went to explain that the wait for the purchase was not actually the problem here. The managers exact words “Thanks for the feedback, oooroo” and hung the phone up. I have spent close to $10k with drummonds golf Preston and I will never set foot in the place again. I have since made purchases at Niddrie and Hoppers Crossing which was a really exceptional customer experience.
