Not working 5 months later and no one will call me – DO NOT USE THIS SOLAR INSTALLER I picked this company based on their customer reviews. Spoken to 3 representatives who have advised that something is wrong and that I’m entitled to compensation and that their electrician will come and look at the system. This has been going on for weeks and I can’t get anyone to contact me back.. absolutely shocking. The only way to get a call back is to ring through as a ‘new customer’ (not existing) then they say they will get someone to get in touch with me but no one does. 5 months since install and still no solar benefit. I couldn’t be more disappointed.

Extremely poor customer service – 6 October 2023 paid deposit of $808.23. [Name Removed] was the salesman. He said it should be before the end of the year. After phone/text/emails for over 2 weeks, on 29/11/23 I finally got a text & a follow up email. replied to. Emailed [Name Removed] & [Name Removed] 5 January & again 17 January. 19 January 2024 email stating they are still working on it. Late January, DYLKO Electric came & did a very thorough analysis & [Name Removed] from DYLKO sent the quote in 2 days later. Nothing... Sent text to [Name Removed] Monday 4 March enquiring. No answer! Texted again 12 March expressing my frustration with time! So annoyed with poor customer service I asked for a refund for my deposit! Replied today with apologies & "disappointed in the fact we have not able to keep up with our estimations"! Most annoying? When [Name Removed] offered a payment schedule on the estimation or $10,400 I said I am paying cash. "Oh! great & said this would drop the price to $7500+ I cannot remember the exact amount. I put $8000 to pay you the day it was installed. Money sitting making very little interest for 5 months! 1) I feel you need to be more honest with time frames! 2) When paying cash, this should be given top priority. 3) Regular updates would go a long way. 4) Prompt (within 24 hours) replies would be so helpful , I may still be with you. 5) I feel Dsolar should provide feedback, promptly as to why DYLKO estimate was not acted upon? 6) Small town ~ however Port Macquarie is only 20 Kilometres away with a population of 50,000+. If this wa too remote ~ say so. At the end of the day this is very poor service. I told [Name Removed] I am a TPI Veteran. I was in hopes that we Vets would be provide with better service. A letter to Brisbane headquarters is following with a copy of this review, What happened to honesty & trust? Was DYLKO too expensive? Say so!

Fantastic experience – I personally had a great experience in my dealings with DSolar.. Very friendly and helpful. Answered every question I had(lots) and great in price for what I received..

Dsolar experience – 5 stars is insufficient to rate the experience we received from Dsolar ! Failed Installation – I paid deposit for install of 10kw Solar and after one aborted attempt to install our $10k system they have stop responding to my call and have not returned my deposit. Apparently our roof is too steep even though I had declared this as part of the original quote. Show details

dsolar are the absolute worst company i've ever dealt with – - dsolar sent an unlicensed electrician to my install - their subbie fraudulently filled out the CER STC paperwork - they didnt submit the correct paper work to ausgrid - the Online Certificate Compliance Electrical Work (CCEW) - it took something like 84 emails and me providing evidence - hundreds of wasted hours on this issue - it's still going - 15 months later! Show details

supposed to happen on 18th November 2023 however, through no fault of our own this install was put back to 23rd February 2024. We are asking if this install will definitely happen then. Therefore, could someone from DSolar please contact us to confirm the installation of a Solar System at our home on 27th February 2024, thank you. A deposit has been paid in good faith.

a Smart metre to have solar. Quote was 18 panels and 17 were installed. On questioning I was told “they are stronger so you don’t need 18”. I have never received a rebate only a credit from my provider. Most Power/feed in I get is 75% on a really hot day. I was told to by a sparky, to get 100% I need 21 panels. I protested and negotiated a discount in light of the above.

Solar install without issues – Recently had a solar system supplied by D Solar installed. The installer was a qualified electrician named [Name Removed] . [Name Removed] worked hard and from my observation methodically to complete his work. He was careful to collect all of the packaging that the various components came in and removed all from site. Great people to deal with – The whole process was simply brilliant. We received a quote, we accepted. We were told to expect installation within 4 weeks. The installers arrived on the day, explained what they were going to do and by midday they were finished. Too good!
