Ducted Heating Cleaning

Just a front for Marks Maintenance – Contacted this mob who simply off loaded the job onto Marks Maintenance. Had I known this and now having read the terrible reviews on Marks Maintenance I would never had proceed. Very poor business ethics, don’t deal with them.

A TOTAL SCAM – Had my ducts "cleaned" today. Thought was dealing with Ducted Heating Cleaning. Instead got a subcontractor - Marks Duct Cleaning. Made clear to 1st company job i wanted- vents cleaned & dust wiped & ducts in roof vacuumed. Subcontractor confirmed would do both jobs but just vacuumed vents & poorly wiped as dust still there. unhappy he became aggressive and demanded payment. Spoke to office & also aggressive & rude He said roof job "wasn't necessary" - but was paid for. The website of Ducted Heating Cleaning is misleading as the type of people you think you are dealing with is not what you end up with. Marks Duct Cleaning had an Indian accent and if I knew I was dealing with the subcontractor - based on the reviews I saw - I would not have booked the job through Ducted Heating Cleaning. When I rang Ducted Heating to complain I spoke to someone with an Indian accent but when I was dealing with them via chat online they had English names. Misleading. A total scam. After further investigation online they also go by the company names of Fresh Upholstery Cleaning; Marks Maintenance Services; SK Cleaning Services. All these companies on Product Review have been given the same bad reviews and experiences. A class action lawsuit should be done to put these scammers out of business.

Consumer Affairs got in touch with me and their solution to stopping these scammers was to ring them and ask them if they are doing the jobs they say they do. No surprise they said "yes". Instead of listening to the victims and reading the reviews of people that have been scammed by all their companies and the work Ducted Heating Cleaning claim to do on their website, Consumer Affairs choose to take the easy way out. Oh and they are quick to fob you off to VCAT - another useless organisation. I'd love to know exactly what they do between the hours of 9 - 5!!
