added more water slowly and it never managed to get anywhere near shake consistency. Thinking it may be the flavour, I added more water to shake #2. 400ml of water later the shake was still chunky and by now had no taste, completely washed out. I mixed the 3rd try today with chilled water in a stainless steel shaker. As I am in and out of hospital with a family member with cancer I expected a convenient nutrious shake I could consume with no fuss. What I got was a gelatinous pudding that literally had to be eaten with a spoon and looked like a motion. I have contacted the company who make suggestions like, 'add more water' 'use chilled water' 'use a food processor' 'add fruit/milk/fruit' to improve the consistency. Done all that (except for the fruit, it's supposed to be add water drink shake). The company is stating its against consumer law to refund food items, as they have looked at a video of the product, stated its 'not normal' They are refusing to refund my money claiming 'a change of mind or dislike of a flavour is not grounds for a refund' This product goes against Australian consumer law of being the product that you paid for. I paid for easy convenient shakes. Dukes is thanking me for my 'feedback' This product is misleading and terrible. Their customer service line goes against Australian consumer Law as well. but the faintness continued so I cut back to one meal replacement per day . Nothing improved, it was very scary and I was following all the guidelines, eating plenty of the recommended snacks and drinking well over the recommended 2 litres of water. On day 6 I stopped. I believe I had a rapid drop in blood sugar and /or blood pressure. I am not diabetic, I do not have any underlying medical conditions and have tried many other brands of shakes and meal replacements with no problems. All my symptoms have completely stopped 48 hours after consuming my last meal replacement. I have been refused a partial refund and they recommended that I just continue on with the program and try drinking more water. They did not take my adverse reaction seriously and when I questioned whether the advice to continue was from their team of doctors , and that I was afraid it would cause further harm, they admitted they are not doctors and cannot give medical advice. I question their ingredients, there are no warnings other than to seek medical advice if you are diabetic , pregnant , lactating or have an underlying medical condition. All of which I have none. The refund policy states no refunds on change of mind or flavour preference. They also as I found out will not refund if you have a bad reaction to their product . I am still only told ‘as per our policy we cannot offer a refund’. I do not recommend these products or this company sadly and will be reporting this. There are many comments on here questioning fake reviews and I also have my doubts about this too. I am a verified buyer (regrettably)
It works for me! I work nights and have 2 days off a week so finding something filling and palatable for a day or night meal was very important . I used the shakes, hot chocolate, greens , reds and hydration sachets. All of the products have real flavour and not a synthetic taste. Ordered introductory shaker and soup pack, added on extra soup variety pack at checkout. Stock arrived with a 4 day shelf life. Sent photo and email, they told me it is a best before date that is only 4 days I can still consume it. Said this was not ideal as first time buyer, they replied they send stock first in first. I really like & enjoy the shakes I still have some of the soups & half the oats left also . Stocking up as we are going away & don’t want to run out . Looking forward to trying the new bubblegum flavour . It’s been 8 weeks & lost nearly 11 kgs . So halfway for me as I’d like to loose another 10 kgs . The shakes taste amazing!! My favorite is the strawberry. I have been able to lose weight and keep it off thanks to Dukes.
I've been doing shakes for years and I went with these ones because they are sugarless. But they're pretty terrible. Strange, thick consistency and little flavour. Some flavours are passable but most are dreadful. No more weight loss than other sugared brands and only 200 cal less. Much more expensive. Dunno how I got talked into it!

The Dukes team responded promptly and confirmed they only use quality products no artifical sweetners etc. I got a starter pack which proved to be the way to start. There were flavours of shake i would not have chosen and proved to be quite nice! Each serve; shake, soup or oats is larger than other brands of VLCD and definitely filling. The texture is different but extreamly easy to adjust to. No boredom with flavours. No tummy strains! Ample and easily accesible Dukes support and meal inspirations. time for lunch, so making a soup is a quick, healthy way to make sure I eat through the day, and with some fruit during the afternoon I easily get through to dinner without feeling hungry. I also use the Dukes Vanilla shake mix because I can and add whatever I feel like to it - berries, banana, mango, greek yoghurt, dates & chia seeds, or even a shot of coffee etc - to make a filling smoothie for breakfast before work. I don’t like sweet foods so this is the perfect shake flavour - it’s great on its own, but the option of using it as a base for a different flavour suits me. OMG I'm so glad I did. Weight just seems to be falling off of me. To the point that people are noticing and commenting. The flavours of the shakes are amazing. Almost no sugar, and totally dairy free. I have been a vegan for a lot of years and I've tried vegan shakes, containing pea protein. Absolutely disgusting!!! The Dukes shakes have blown me away. Love duke shakes, make them up in cold water is my favourite , I replace 1meal a day which is lunch as Iam diabetic so have tablets with breakfast replace lunch and a normal tea after a week have lost nearly 3kg which Iam more than happy with.

Not enchanted with these shakes- have tried on tow seperate occasions. I like the consistency. But they don’t really have any flavour and are expensive to have no taste. I usually would have a protein shake for breakfast but these are unlikely to be used , they are not tasty. Never mind weight loss I don’t even want to up to two a day just to try it.
The reason for the 1 star is because of the bad customer service, I bought a starter pack for $209 inc shaker but was never given a chance to pick flavours So I now have 16 sachets that I cannot use! Tried a sample pack of both the soups and shakes. The soups are gross flavour wise. The shakes are not much better but are consumable and filling. Tried all the flavours and apart from the mango, they all taste like liquid cardboard. They are very filling however, so if you don't care about taste these would probably work well for you.

all sickly sweet, till I tried Dukes and was surprised true to their word their products have close to no sugar at all. So I don't have to worry about any sugar spike and no stomach rumbling from being hungry.
I have been having Dukes shakes for less than a week. I have lost some weight but not sure how much. I read so many positive reviews about the great taste (you will find the flavours you love) and how they are filling, not leaving you hungry. I have found this all true. I love how clean they feel and how easy it is to not have to think so much about what to eat.
Took a chance and tried Dukes as was seeing a lot of ads on social media. Was the best thing I did as finally found a shake that is so filling, doesn't cause bloating and bonus of being gluten free. Other shakes I have tried haven't kept me full for as long as taste wise wasn't great. Dukes shakes are delicious and make you feel good!
As older adults, we are using Duke’s shakes as part of our daily routine for an easy healthy weight management. The range of flavours give daily variety and their low sugar and gluten free qualities make them suitable for both of us. We’ve discovered a new way to enjoy them in summer as creamy soft serve created with our recent purchase of a soft serve maker. Thank you Duke’s.
My honest opinion is a 10 out of 10. Even though I’ve had accidents pouring the shake powder into the shaker. My husband has given me a solution using a cone . I love the taste of the flavours and the texture is excellent.
Follow-up · I have lost 2kg in 4 weeks and I’m only having a shake at breakfast. I look forward to breakfast every morning. My favourite flavours are vanilla, coffee and caramel. Large packets with a scoop make it a breeze to add to the shaker.
