Absolute garbage – Dulux where do I start, I have never seen so many brush marks, it's thick gloopy crap, as soon as it hit the wall it dries instantly and you can't get the crap off...forget about cutting in!! it's going in the bin!! Waste of money it's not worth squat...Dulux not only this paint but I will never ever buy any of your products, far too expensive to run the risk to get another poor product such as this...avoid this crap!! Show details

Disappointed – Not one to give bad reviews, but this is the exception. I’m not just an average painter. This is the worst paint iv used. After painting 12 doors and frames with two coats, you can still see through the paint. It’s hard to apply, definitely not for the average DIY painter. I can’t believe such an established brand Would produce this paint. After… Read more

using it for a short while I actually checked the can and thought I might have picked up the wrong Paint. If you have one door to paint over the weekend, and don’t mind an average finish. Maybe this is for you. Drying times and odour is good. But if you’re after a decent job without cutting corners avoid this paint.

Disappointing – I sanded a chest of draws and used primer and didn’t rush the job. I’m really disappointed in the finish used a roller and was recommended this product and primer by the hardware store Bunnings in the paint department. I feel I’ll have to strip the paint off and start again. I’ll never buy this product ever again

I love the finish on this paint – I am not a fan of high gloss paint on any surface. I choose low sheen whenever I can. I had the Aqua enamel in low sheen, tinted to "Hog Bristle half" for use on my bathroom vanity, window and door trim. It looks amazing. It requires three coats over a coat of primer/sealer when painting over previously stained timber but it's worth the time and… Read more ·  2

effort. It has a lovely low sheen with an almost matt feel to the touch which works very well for a French Provincial or Hamptons look in my opinion. I have been painting houses and furniture for about 45 years and I am very particular about the finish of my paint. I also prepare meticulously, which is important. I do paint fairly quickly so didn't encounter too many problems with drying too fast to when laying off. I will definitely buy this product again.

Aqua enamel low sheen – It’s saying that this is discontinued yet I brought one from Bunnings not long ago and starting to use it and what can I say but it’s rubbish and glad that it’s discontinued!! I have tried rolling it on brushing with prep coat And went out brought a Wagner spray gun and still doesn’t cover I brought 10litres of water Cheers Dulux most expensive isn’t alway better  Show details

Just terrible product – Impossible to get nice finish.. impossible to get even an 'ok' finish. Doesn't matter if you use brush/roller or sprayer. This product is complete junk, nightmare to use, don't buy. Show details

Hard to believe how tough this stuff is – I'm so surprised with the negative reviews on here. I painted 10 small timber trolleys made out of ply with this product. We use them to push pizza trays around a busy pizza shop. Every day they go through a commercial dishwasher at 90 degrees, with very harsh chemicals, high pressure and steam. The paint has never moved. I'm actually amazed that… Read more ·  1

a product can be this robust. If you want to paint anything just one time, use this stuff. Crazily hard wearing

Truly truly disappointed – Used a smaller tin to start my job (wardrobe doors and frame). Ran out and bought a larger tin to complete the job and I’m left with 1 large door and trim that look horrendous no matter how much I sand and repaint. Like other reviews here the paint brushes on fine but drips and then dries too quickly to fix. My painting looks gloopy and streaked… Read more

and this tin was expensive! I’m probably going to give up and repaint with another brand because I’m 4 coats in and every coat is as bad as the last Please do yourself a favour and don’t buy this paint.

Extremely thin and doesn’t cover – I was recommended this paint at my local inspirations paint store and I wish I had looked into it before purchasing. After the first roll it was so thin I thought I hadn’t stirred it enough. Stirred it thoroughly and it made no difference. Three coats later and it’s patchy and still looks like it needs at least another three coats. Now reading the… Read more

reviews it looks like I might have to cut my losses and go buy a different brand of paint. I’ve always thought dulux put out a great product, but this experience has severely damaged their reputation in my eyes. Absolute waste of time and money, steer clear.

Awful – Bunnings sold us this paint as the didn’t have the White Knight paint we wanted. So disappointed. We are painting the inside of an old caravan and the finish is awful. Wish I’d read the reviews first! Don’t buy this paint. I feel like we were led astray by Bunnings staff.  Show details

Aquanamel rules – I used aquanamel on my ageing oak kitchen cupboards after I heat gunned the old varnish off and sanded back to wood and used Dulux 123 primer sealer. I painted when it was very hot so I had to add a flow agent (from hardware store) to the aquanamel. I am very happy with the finish. I am now doing my old door frames and doors and I just finished my… Read more

son's dresser. Excellent! Not sure about other people's problems with this paint. If it is hot then use a flow agent!

No sheen!! – Started painting trims and door frames last night....it is supposed to be low sheen. Well there's NO sheen and it looks like flat ceiling paint. I've painted plenty in the past and all my low sheen paints used are just that, with a nice low sheen to them. Looks cheap and nasty. Very disappointed.  Show details
