are in stock and within what timeframe they will be shipped, which should be within a week. The info on the order page of my account showed a very long window during which the books would be shipped. I like Dymocks and want them to continue to be there, but think their online store info needs to be a bit better.

Wait for the 2 minutes and then it goes straight to voicemail, no option to stay on the line longer. Have left 3 voicemails. No response
Went to a physical store and the person literally said “I don’t shop online with us”. Couldn’t even buy the book there as that store had no stock and would not transfer stock from somewhere else
There is actually no option for recourse, well played Dymocks you have officially developed a person who will only recommend people walk past your stores for life. Wonder why Amazon has market share, wonder no longer.
Help and advice is always available at Dymocks – I’ve always found Dymocks staff, mainly Doncaster, very helpful but in other stores too. There is always an excellent variety of books (and jigsaw puzzles) available and if what you want is not on the shelves they will order it if possible. The windows are always interesting and the lighting in the shop bright and welcoming. I always read the staff’s recommendations. When I’m not using my library, you’ll find me at Dymocks.

Dymocks Online always keep me informed if my orders and if there is an issue they will always present an alternative option and expected waiting times for the delivery of the order.
Although the book that I ordered was out of stock after I’d ordered it, I got an email from Dymocks stating the facts and that Dymocks were sorry that they couldn’t fulfill my order. I emailed them back and thanked them for letting me know and that I appreciated their effort. But the clincher was when Dymocks wrote back and thanked me for my reply to their email.
Absolute disgrace. I ordered a calendar and after a month waiting for the delivery … or even an update on the order status, I finally sent a email in an attempt to cancel the order and get a refund. Response from Dymocks (after 5 days) was that they don’t accept RETURNS on calendars. HELLO !….. how can I RETURN something that they haven’t even delivered, and may never deliver. DO NOT order from Dymocks (online) … just don’t do it.

I have emailed them twice chasing up my order being told I would get a response in 1-3 days.
