Wrong product received

Shipping was slow, and I was surprised that they didn't provide any tracking number, still it was free.
When package finally arrived it contained books that were completely different to what I ordered.

The customer contact form/bot on their website is next to useless. I have emailed them directly but am yet to receive a response.

UPDATE: I heard back from customer service, and after asking me for the ISBN of the wrongfully delivered items I received a refund.

Purchased new book received damaged with scrabble on many pages clearly 2nd hand

Went above and beyond!

Wob went above & beyond to find a great outcome when the book I ordered was found to be damaged in their warehouse. They advised me immediately of the issue & offered to send me a different book of the same value or a refund. I selected a couple of books but they were unavailable. Wob were so apologetic & refunded me immediately & much to my surprise the original book I ordered arrived in the mail, with no damage. They must have found another copy & sent it to me. Scam! Sent wrong item, contacted without response

I ordered two books, was sent one book completely different. Seems a scam, the customer service is impossible to get any response. Just a online chat bot that keeps you going around in circles and have had no response from the email sent. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Awful customer service

Extremely poor customer service. They don't care about their customers at all. I often used their special offer of buy 3 books get 1 free. I chose 3 books then put a second copy of one of them in my basket but didn't notice when I went to pay that the website hadn't registered the second copy and there wasn't a warning to notify me of this. I therefore missed out on the free book. When I contacted them they basically said tough luck. I was entitled to a free book and they didn't honour it. I was a long time loyal customer but now I know that they don't honour their offers I will no longer use them. Companies that don't care about their customers won't get my custom. Unimpressed

I ordered Fight Club on this website. The condition was stated as "Very Good". It was not very good. The spine was falling off and the previous left cup rings and splashed drops of some mystery liquid? Almost looks like candle wax and has the same consistency.

How lazy do you have to be to not even wipe the book covers before you sell it. Disgusting laziness.

Also I set an email to the WOB customer service about how long it was taking to get here and because the order status had been marked "Complete" when it was not. Show details

Ordered a vintage video game!

Despite the reviews, I decided to give them a shot. They had the game I wanted, competitively priced. Game them a shot.

Didn't let me down.

I did email their help department to raise my initial concerns with their long delivery times and condition of their goods. They let me know when it was sent. Kept me informed which was great!

Game arrived on the earlier side of their 7-21 business day delivery time even during the busy Christmas and New Year period.

Bravo guys! Couldn't be happier, especially just in time for a good weekend of binge playing some nostalgia Show reply

Very slow shipping and tattered book!

I ordered a book as a Christmas gift on the 6th December. It finally arrived in Australia on the 28th December and the condition of the book is appalling. It is covered in cobwebs and what looks to be mould/dirt. Completely unsuitable to give as a (very belated) Christmas gift. Will be requesting a refund. Show details
