I would rate them 0 stars or negative if I could. First they dont inform parents what items are on back order. They delivery half of the orders. They are effectively coluded with schools so you go need to buy through them. When ask for missing items you never get a date , allways a vague answer. and you can't still give your costumers a proper ETD or status of backorder items. This company is a disgrace ran by amateurs (At best). Also they are happy to keep your money at the end if you dont chase your missing items. So I would say a class action lawsuit is incoming

but was told its out of stock. I mentioned that I've checked with the call centre and they advised it's in stock before I came in. Her replied was "don't trust the call centre". It's such a waste of my time and effort. I had no choice but to order a back order and it's been a week, there's still no expected date. So how long do I still need to wait for the text book? I would hope it will come before the end of the school term!
Updated: book was received, customer service centre was friendly and empathy but company should look into updating their ordering system and procedures.

Ordered 1st Dec 2025 for both my children’s 2026 booklists . Thought I was being organised as cut off was 12th Dec for orders at a lower shipping cost $12 each, the only option given as we live regionally 3 1/2 hours north of Perth for our local school. before or by the 28th Jan upon ordering but once checked early Jan on the status that still hadn’t been picked, packed or posted thought well still plenty of time surely we will get before the 28th .
Not until I reached out via email on the Sat 24th Jan (10days before school commenced) and rang the Tues 27th did I get any communication from Campion . They apologised for the inconvenience and said they were having delays with the WA warehouse , no offer of postage refund via phone conversation but email said it would be refunded to card (no refund received at time of writing) , no update on when it maybe dispatched but assured it would be there by the first day of school the Monday and would be sent express post . Well I rang again on the Thurs 29th Jan and said I was actually making a trip down to Perth Friday could I pick up , no sorry we can see it’s been picked up and on way to the post already you’ll get a tracking notification this arvo, don’t get one until late Friday arvo with both sent parcel post not express as I had been assured . Still no delivery as of the second day back of school Tues 3rd Feb !
Very disappointed in the whole experience especially communication that oh you can just pop in and grab the whole booklist order again or do a shop somewhere else and then when your delivery rocks up come return the items you don’t need . Not an option when you live regionally with the next closest stationary supplies 2hours away in Geraldton and you’ve already paid hundreds of dollars for these orders months in advance!
At point of this review still unsure if everything on booklist has been sent as no notification of what actually was picked and packed , here’s hoping at this point it’s all there !

Follow-up · Would not recommend this so called company to anyone. Even after re-sending a book that they didn’t pack the first time, it still took 2 weeks to be packed and sent. Disgusting service.

Follow-up · The customer service is very good on the odd occasion that I have had to contact them by phone. No favourite brands, all the items supplied are top quality products. I have as yet not had to return any products as I get exactly what I ordered. Can find no fault with their products or service.

I hardly think this is a delivery issue, more like a not organised and keep the people who spend extra to get this expressed a priority ( like 2 months wasn't enough) I also was charged a delivery fee which I shouldn't have been charged this was ordered waaay before the cut off time. I despised having to go into the shop to collect and pick up everything ( on previous occasions) myself, thus trying to be organised for once. Please do the right thing by your customer spending not hundreds, but over 1.5k, and look after us, will you already!

textbooks, and eventually got a resolution, well after the school term started. Email received finally confirming access to digital resources offered no apologies or explanations as to why there was an issue in the first place (to help avoid the problem for any potential future purchases). Telephone help advice was erroneous and wasted a lot of my time sending me down the wrong path; with no actual real help provided.
Save yourself the grief and frustration, and buy your school booklist requirements direct from publishers, or another resource stockist.

At the time of purchase, we were clearly told the delivery would occur on 26/01/2026. Aware that this is a public holiday, we expected our order to arrive on 27/01/2026. However, the delivery failed to arrive on either date. When our order did not arrive, I contacted Campion directly to demand an explanation. Their representative stated the order had left the warehouse and assured us that supplies would arrive on 28/01/2026. As of today, the delivery remains undelivered. We called Campion again for answers about our missing order. This time, Somenone from Melbourne responded, checked our details, and admitted the order had only just left that day. When we said I called day before yesterday and someone from Campion said order will arrive on 28/01/2026. He said they were lying because he can confirm order just left the warehouse today. He insisted that company policy strictly prevented him from offering any help to customers. I pressed for an explanation as to why it took three weeks to assemble our order. He explained they had to source items from multiple stores and blamed the delays on a busy period. I asked a refund or the option to collect our supplies from a local store, but was flatly told Campion refuses to offer refunds or permit in-store pickups. When I demanded to speak to a manager, he claimed there was no manager available, and insisted that even if there were, we would simply be told the same thing.
Short answer from Campion was we have been paid and we cant help you.

sent yet, not only that, they haven't even been packed yet and they are out of stock for a lot of the items. Its going to take up to another 2 weeks before they are packed. So she offered to refund the postage. I said we'll im going to have to race around today and try to find all their school supplies from officeworks or big w so they have stuff to take to school monday so you can just refund all 3 orders. She tells me no they can't refund the orders. I asked to speak to a manager and she says there is no manager and even if there was, she would tell me the same thing. I wonder what the Accc and consumer protection will have to say about providing me a refund because thats exactly who I'm ringing right now. Absolutely disgusting. I get it, its a busy time of year. But isn't that your whole business model. School supplies. You'd think you'd be sufficiently stocked, staffed and time managed to get orders out for the occasion.

Never again. Last year was the same, the year before I had to go pick up. I ordered before cut off and my older son’s arrived over a week ago and my others still hasn’t arrived. No communication. I’ve called and emailed multiple times. Yesterday it a power outage so no answered calls. They have the monopoly on stationery for the entire country yet cannot supply. The best the person on the phone could tell me was that they would ship in the next few days and would arrive in the next couple of weeks - yeah well that's not good enough, my son is starting year 12 on Monday and needs his crucial ATAR textbooks!! I do understand delays happen but it would be nice to be kept informed, surely not all of the books were delayed and they could have shipped those that were in stock.
