Clean air and a cool bedroom – As someone who suffers from allergies, getting a good air purifier was imperative. The Dyson has really helped me, even just having it on a low setting. It's also a mush quieter fan than it's competitors which is great for when trying to sleep. The remote is handy as it means I don't have to get up in the middle of the night to turn it off if I get to cold. It's very stable; kids have knocked it and its been rock solid. Show details · 1
Expensive and faulty – I’ve had this fan for a few years now. It was great for a while but started making a continuous, high pitched noise. Took it in for service (the process of which is a huge hassle) and it was fine for a while afterwards, but now the sound is back. I like to use it while I sleep but I can’t bear to now. I’m really disappointed in this product and… Read more
in Dyson. I absolutely love the intention of the product, the design, and the app, and I love my Dyson vacuum. But based on how frustrating and tedious my experience has been with this product, I question purchasing another Dyson product ever agai.
Great product – Purchased this product as I wanted a good fan with the bonus of an air purifier. I have found it very good when I don't need aircon on. I have mine located in the family room and learned very quickly not to shut the windows at night as the air quality in the room is only fair when I switch it on in the morning. I found the product easy to… Read more
assemble out of the box, downloaded the dyson app and registered the machine with dyson. I am a baby boomer and found it easy. Love using the app on my phone. I don't move my tower around the house but chose to.leave it in the room where we spend most of our time.
I have the Dyson personal fan in the bedroom because I like a breeze on me at night. It also has the purifier tower.
Dyson products are expensive but the engineering is superb and quite intuitive to use.
I have ordered the hot and cool tower for the living room. I consider dyson products a long term investment and expect them to last for years.
Dyson Cool™ tower fan White/Silver - Value for money – Still have had no reasons for disappointment with the Dyson range of products. Purchased the Dyson Cool Tower fan and it has been such an effective product. You would hardly notice it sitting in a corner and the only thing that could remind you it's there at all is where you feel a gentle breeze coming at you from 'somewhere'...it's quiet and has… Read more · 1
an ergonomic look and feel to it. The one downside to this is the 'wireless' network feature. I get the fact that you could control the device from your mobile, but it's not quite necessary and the current instructions for setting it up is not quite straightforward.
Overpriced – I bought it as a show off .I also bought a real fan for $100 works perfect . Dyson is safe for kids , it has a filter and if you want to cool your self you need to have higher settings and it is very noisy for the air it releases . Quiet mood is useless as it has virtually no air . For what it worth price should not be more than $150 .box said support Alexa but it does not in Australia . Show details
Compact and easy to use – This is a great cooling fan for a open plan room. It is quiet and light weight . It is safe around young children . My only wish was that I think the power cord could be a fraction longer . I would recommend this product . Show details
So good I have 2 – I love this purifier. It is so good I purchased 2. As an allergy sufferer this has been a very good investment in my health The added benefit of it being a fan and looking good is a great positive as well. The app makes it easy to do some really cool things with it and also monitor air quality Show details
Very noisy and terrible service from Dyson support – I purchased the air purifier as I suffer from allergies. Unfortunately, when I need it at night in my bedroom I can’t run it as it has a loud high pitch whine noise. It’s been back to the service dept but they won’t do anything. They just say it’s normal. It’s our second one as the first one went back due to noise issues after the first month.… Read more
This one is no better. Very disappointed in the product but more so the Dyson service . They never call back and all the other issues I have had I have had to sort out myself. We had to buy a new filter which cost $100 and after we put it in the machine didn’t work, packed up yet again and back to service, when it came back it wouldn’t connect to wifi. Called service dept and that was a waste of time. No call back, just the usual email referring to the trouble shooting web site. Ended up sorting it myself eventually. I could go on and on but in my opinion the machine is way overpriced and too noisy to use and with the terrible service from Dyson I am sorry I purchased it now. Having to pack the large item up and then take to a post office to be sent is drama too as our post office is in a shopping centre and parking is a nightmare and then having to lug the thing there is just so frustrating. When the machine has so many issues it should be replaced or picked up from our home and not sent back until it’s fixed.
Besides the whine it’s had a circuit board replaced, major mechanical crack, electricial open circuit issues..
I believe it’s a dud machine and should have been replaced due to all the ongoing issues.

Love it – i bought the dyson pure cool link tower for air quality in my bedroom as i suffer from allegies and it works fantastic. i love having access to the ap which allows you to monitor the air quality of the room. Its not noisy so didnt keep me awake at all. I love the sleek modern design. Show details
Love it! – Purchased to ensure good air quality in bedroom, particularly as I am sensitive to mould spores and it works great. It continually reacts to the air in the room and adjusts the speed. Can turn to quiet and dark at night and on warmer nights, a few minutes with the fan on high in bedroom saved us turning on full upper floor air con. Expensive but worth it, in my opinion. Breathe the difference – Bought this appliance for our apartment as air quality can easily be affected from the cooking, heat and dust. It was very easy to install and set-up and I do like the app that you can download to control it and monitor the outside and indoor temperature and air quality. The air it generates is cool, and not cold, so I’m not worried about using it… Read more
throughout winter. It would be awesome if we could actually control the temperature so it works like an airconditioner though!
Really cools you down – On the most balmy days this fan will cool you down better than the standard fan. I sometimes have my conditioner on with this fan blowing in the room as well. I love the style it has and it looks sleek, but what I love even more is the fact that there is no dust accumulation on blades. I am a clean freak and that dust being blown around freaks… Read more
me out, so the blade-less design is wonderful. It definitely provides a cooler airflow than any normal fan and I would say it is money well spent :)
Decent Solid Fan – This fan is a decent fan that I had no troubles with for the past 2 years with it. Here are some advantages and disadvantage of the fan. Advantages: - Stylish - Light - Very slim so it saves a lot of space - Controller is very tough (I have knocked it off the top of the fan multiple times and it never breaks) - Great range of power levels… Read more
(very powerful at 10)
Disadvantages:
- Expensive
- Controller is easily knocked off the top (magnetic)
- Can get very loud
- Gathers dust in the middle section
Overall a solid fan. It is great fan if you are saving space and looking for something stylish.

Quiet and effective – This fan has provided us with quiet peaceful sleep. It has a remote that sticks to the top of the fan when not in use so you don't loose it. It provides great airflow around the room or you can use it in the one pointed position. It is powerful enough to keep us cool on the hottest of nights. It was a little more expensive than other fans but I feel this was money well spent as it has proformed outstanding for us this summer and last summer. Show details
The perfect fan – It has a setting of 1 to 10 so plenty of options with the fan's power. I sometimes leave it 'auto' as it has a hair purifying function. It is reasonably quiet unless you have it go very strong, even so, it's quieter than most other fans. Definitely satisfied with this fan and highly recommended. Show details
Just the right amount of coolness! – Got this fan early this summer, and when we first tried it, we thought it's not doing the needful as the air the comes out of it are not strong even when you put them at the highest speed. However, leaving it overnight, we figured out that it is designed to kept the place cool enough. It maybe not strong enough to release air but making the place… Read more
temperature reasonably cool make it very useful and handy this summer. Like having air conditioning at home but at the expense of not having any AC at all. Quite awesome!
Best solution to my indoor air problem – After my Dyson desk fan broke last year I needed a replacement model to cool my bedroom which a spend the most time in, also I have been suffering allergies in the past few months as I live right next to a park. I was browsing Dyson's official store and came across the Dyson Pure Cool Link Tower which was the TP03 model which had the latest 2nd… Read more
generation filter that captured gases like benzene and formaldehyde. Luckily for me I came across Dyson's summer promotion which meant that the machine that retailed at $699 was then now $499 which as a bonus came with a free replacement filter. Now my room would always be dusty especially at night when you can even see the dust particles float in the air. Without the dyson pure cool link my lungs would instead be filtering the air now that's sobering thought for everyone to digest as indoor air can be 10 times as more polluted than the outside.
This machine is no ordinary fan nor is it an ordinary purifier it synergies the two functions as an IOT device with a modern Android app which provides real time monitoring of my bedroom air quality. As a surprise feature I could control my purifier anywhere in the world with my phone which is great as you can switch off machine from anywhere if you accidentally left it off. After 3 weeks of use I can definitely say that my air quality is better than ever before.
Good! – Got this fan for 6 months before summer begins, its a really good fan especially i on it almost 24/7 to keep the room ventilate, and it hasn't gone overheat or stop. Its quite abit of noise when it comes to high speed, and the wind output is very constant similiar like breeze from the nature, comparing it to a normal fan where you can actually… Read more

The electric consumption is actually pretty good, doesn't seem much spike on my electric bill.
Highly recommend if you have some spare cash to spend on a fan.
Its really safe way to cool your house – I have two children so safety was the best for me. Its really safe for your kid when they try to touch the fan. Also the design is fantastic so its good for the interior too. I recommend to buy this item if you have a little kid at home. Show details
Extremely disappointed with the product and customer service – The product started to generate loud and audible clicking noises during oscillation when set on low/night mode. It has a reasonable output when set to 7 or higher (the setting ranges from 1-10) but it is nothing to write home about. The functions are what you expect a basic fan to have, such as being able to set it to oscillate and changing… Read more
the fan speed. Having said that, having a remote that can fully control the fan (with an app that also functions as a remote) and night mode are pretty nice.
The customer service and quality control resulted this in a 1 star review. The clicking noise occurred after 4-5 weeks of moderate use. They also advertise their product as having a 'smooth oscillation', but it started stuttering during oscillation around the time when the clicking noise occurred. It was sent back for repairs twice but both these issues still persisted. The product was sent back in its original packaging for the first repair, but somehow it was sent back in an oversized box filled with plastic bags of air instead of using the original packaging. They even managed to damage the filter's outer casing.
I have had the product for 10 weeks, and after the initial period of 4-5 weeks in which I used it, it has only been in transit to and from my home and the Dyson Repair centre. The customer service is terrible and it has just been several long ways of nothing. Would definitely not recommend. Save yourself the trouble and buy a cheaper fan that runs better.

So Smart, So Pretty, So Functional – On my third Dyson product now and this purifier is by far my favourite. With our homes getting more and more smarter this product is the cherry on top. I know some of you may be scratching your heads saying Wi-Fi in a fan? and there's an app? YES! Believe me when I say you'll wonder why every appliance in your home doesn't come with a smart… Read more
phone app after owning this product.
Setting up the Wi-Fi is super simple, just follow the instructions in either the app or the booklet that comes along with the machine.
The app is used for many things. For starters, it can be used to control the machine, this includes functions like:
- Turning it on and off or switching to Auto Mode
- Adjusting the fan speed (Between 1 and 10)
- Turning oscillation on and off
- Setting a sleep timer
- Enabling Night Mode
I can’t tell you the amount of times ill be too lazy to get off my bed and change a setting, my phone is already in my hand so it’s super convenient
And if all that doesn't tickle your fancy and you’re a bit old school, like with any other Dyson fan/purifier it comes with a handy little remote that magnetically connects to the top of the machine for safe keeping.
Back to the app, it is also used for monitoring the air quality (Both indoor and outdoor) as well as humidity and temperature. The machine has an on-board sensor that monitors particles and gases in the air, when Auto Mode is enabled the machine continuously monitors air quality and reacts accordingly, adjusting the fan speed based on how good or poor the air quality in the room is, it will also report back to the app using colour coded visual representation. As an added bonus It also shows you on graphs your weekly and daily air quality, which is cool if you like graphs.
This machine is great for someone like me who suffers from hay fever and dust allergies. I'll leave the machine in auto mode and it will do all the work for me! Auto mode is also adjustable, just tell it how sensitive you are to particles in the air or whether you just want to maintain good air quality and let the machine do the rest! It has a 360 degree filter that filters out 99.95% of pollutants from the air. Maybe I'm just a sucker for numbers but that sounds like a pretty good number to me.
Speaking of filters, the statistic is that if you have the machine on for 12 hours a day you will only need to replace the filter once a year which is pretty good in my opinion. I don't see myself using it for 12 hours a day personally so the filter should last even longer. The filter is rated to last 4300 hours and you can keep track of it's life guess where...that's right, the app!
Now, noise levels.
The fan speed ranges between 1 and 10. Have the speed set anywhere between speeds 1-4 and the machine is barely audible. Speed 5 and onwards you do start to notice the noise but that's only if the room is dead silent, the machine does a really good job at being quiet, have the tv or music on in the background and it drowns out the fan almost completely.
If you have Auto mode turned on and you enable Night mode the machine will make sure that it doesn't exceed fan speed 4 so as to help with making less noise while you sleep. Night mode also sees the machine dim it's front display as that thing can get quite bright in a dark room.
Design. I can’t just tell you how beautiful this thing is, you have to pop into a store and see one for yourselves. Truly a design like no other, very modern and elegant. It's made to fit into almost any home decor.
One final bonus, If you somehow have access to an Amazon Echo device you can also control the machine using your voice! Google home and Siri aren't available as it seems but the machine is smart and gets software updates automatically so here's hoping those will come soon!
I'll be honest I haven't been able to find too many flaws with the product, the one thing I will say is that this definitely is an investment, RRP is $699 normally, It was on sale over the Black Friday weekend so I did manage to save over $200 partnered with an eBay coupon code via the BingLee eBay store.
I’m super stoked with the product and can definitely recommend it especially to those with allergies or those who live in a home where dust is an issue. If you’re looking at getting a fan for the summer why not get one that cleans the air and not just push it around?
Stylish, quiet, adjustable, energy efficient & never missed a beat – Have a few dyson products now and this remains consistent with the others we own - well packaged, excellent instructions, solid build / yet light enough to be moved. After 5 months of ownership we can safely say this device is excellent and we could not live without it. The single best feature is the application which provides the ability to… Read more
set multiple programs up to meet your daily / weekly requirements. It's not missed a beat.
Noise is perfectly acceptable, we leave on in our bedroom overnight and have on manual mode in the lowest setting. Of the 10 fan speed settings anything above 6 or 7 is fairly loud - and if left on automatic mode with a conservative target air quality set we have yet to see anything more than 6 fan speed - I accept this will depend on your environment.
Power consumption when on level 5 fan with oscillation - measured at 9w per hour. This is a minuscule draw for the task at hand.
Happy to recommend this unit to friends and family. There is nothing that I'd like Dyson to improve on.
