Expensive but happy with my spend.
Easy assembly, easy to install app on phone and to connect the device to the home wifi. Only had it a couple days now but already the purifyer is doing its job and the spring pollen sensitive partner isn't waking up tired with a dry mouth, blocked nose and puffy eyes. The heater quickly heated the bedroom before bed and then quietly filtered air overnight using the diffuse setting. The sensor seems to think the air was and still is clean but this could be the calibrating phase that the manual refers to. The sensitive partner definetly noticed a difference.

I love this unit, it's not just another electric Space Heater.
This product is very easy to use especially if you have used any smartphone before as it's all controllable from anywhere in the world direct from your smartphone which actually allows you to see what's going on in terms of the air quality in your home when you're away but also allows you to turn the heater on for your arrival for example or schedule at for certain times a day. It is very straight forward to get up and running, I opened the box looked at the two filter halves pressed the button on the side of the unit which popped the covers of...f and it is self explanatory how the filters went in. I then pushed the covers back on, I never even had to open the instructions. I have mine set up to preheat my bedroom to 18 degrees an hour before I go to bed it then shuts off and only turns on again during the night if the temperature in the room drops below 14 degrees. And then at 5 a.m. it turns on and brings the temperature up to 21 degrees so when I get out of bed everything is toastie - this kind of programming is a brilliant. I was a bit sceptical about the units ability to read air quality but as it turns out it's not a gimmick in actually does read it and apparently quite effectively. For example when I am running my bbq smoker outside and I open the back door on the house the unit immediately registers the smoke in the house and the related particles floating around. It also detects any time we use an air freshener or aerosol or have any sort of door or window open it's really quiet interesting to see. I really can't say that this heater has reduced the amount of pollutants in my home or reduced any odours from my pets or anything like that because I simply don't have an objective way to test these things. I can't say I have noticed a difference, whilst the graphs do show the air quality improved overnight, this happens whether or not the heater is on because you are simply doing less stuff and there is less environmental pollution at this time anyway so I can not suggest that there has been an improvement in terms of actual air quality only the ability to read it. The heater in typical dyson fashion looks modern and sleek, is low noise and doesn't have the usually rattly bearing and shaft sound of your typical economy range heaters. The air flow out of the heater is actually quite strong and has enough projection to push across even a large lounge area and with the unit being able to swing almost an entire 360° you can be sure that you can cover just about any reasonable space in your home.

Aesthetically nice to live with, great app support, unsure of clinical usefulness.
As part of the ProductReview Ambassador program, I’d been asked to review this Dyson Air Purifier – a product class I hadn’t seriously considered previously. The context of it’s use is worth mentioning, which involves a large 2-storey house, located in a semi-rural area, with vineyards adjoining our house block, a small dog, a cockatiel (indoors), and 3 teenage kids. Thanks to my amazing wife, our house is “display-home” clean the majority of the time. The main factors that I could identify that might usually affect indoor air qual...

Quiet and Comfortable Heating, Cooling and More
First off - let me say that I was sent this product to review as part of the productreview Ambassador program.
Right out of the box, you can tell that this is a quality product. It feels heavy and strong and well weighted. There is a small amount of assembly required, to install the twin clam-shell shaped HEPA filters that are housed in the base under a couple of covers. and that's it. It couldn't be simpler, there are ample pictures/stickers to guide you through the process.
First thing you notice is how cool this thing looks. It reminds me ...of some sort of virtual assistant or robot! I half expected it to start talking! Once plugged in, there is a tiny remote included to switch the unit on, but conveniently, there is also a simple on/off button located on the front of the base to switch it on without it. The remote can also be secured to the top of the unit via a magnet so you are less likely to misplace it. Its these little conveniences that set this product apart. You can tell that the designers are passionate about their job. The controls are super-simple to work out, without even looking at the manual. Without even touching anything else, you can just press the 'Auto' function and let the fan do the rest.

It heats. It cools. It purifies. It blows. HARD. And it does it all very well!
The HP07 is marketed as the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Purifying Fan Heater. It is exactly as it states. It is essentially a fan that doubles as a heater as well as a cooler, with an integrated air purifying function that seems to do exactly what it states.
This is the 2nd Dyson product that I’ve had the pleasure of testing and reviewing, and after 4 weeks of solid use, I can safely say I would be very happy purchasing this particular unit. The Dyson HP07 is one of 3 offerings in Dyson’s Purifier range, sitting alongside the Purifier Hot+Cool For...maldehyde, and the Purifier Cool fan heaters. It came packaged nice and firm in the usual Dyson fashion, set in recyclable cardboard with not too much plastic waste, and there’s even a leaflet with QR code / URL included which links to an online user manual, registration, troubleshooting tips, replacement parts etc. allowing for the purchaser to choose how they wish the utilise their product. A really nice touch re: user manual and a nod to responsible waste management. Once removed from the box, the only thing I had to do was insert the filters, plug it in and turn it on. This is done via 1 of 3 ways … via a single physical button on the front of the unit, via the supplied remote control, or via the Dyson Link app found on Play or iTunes. Initial pairing with the unit and your device is via Bluetooth, and once done, the app connects via your WiFi to the unit, so you can control the fan from anywhere within wifi range. Dyson have done an excellent job here with design of their app (Android in the least) including an in built virtual remote emulating the physical remote. I’m not going to go in depth except to say that it’s very functional and with relevant information at hand at each click/swipe. You can also connect it up and control with voice commands via Amazon Alexa, Google Home or Apple Siri. The fan stands about 60cm tall and has a footprint about 25cm’s, and is very stable during use. Oscillation is via a ball like mechanism, and you can angle the fan both forward and back on this mech about 15 degrees. Warranty on the fan is 12 months, this does not include the filter. The fan is quite simple to operate. It has an LCD screen on the front of the unit below the power button which displays readouts of all the below functions, as follows: On/Off Temperature Up/Down – 0 to 37 degrees Airflow Speed Up/Down – standstill to blow ya socks off!
Quality & Features You’d Expect From Dyson
The Dyson HP07 Hot+Cool Purifying Fan Heater is perfect for Australian families, and like having an extra mother at home. It comforts and cares for your little ones, as you do, not just keeping your precious family hot and cool when required but removing 99.5% of particles as small as 0.1 microns whilst also capturing dust and allergens than can disturb your home.
This minimalist, yet powerful unit has made itself home in my baby’s room where it’ll stay for the foreseeable future, ensuring a safe play environment and healthy sleep domain for m...y daughter. Upon the unit being delivered, it arrived in its usual charming packaging that you’d expect from Dyson. And in true Dyson fashion (having also owned other Dyson products), it was easy to assemble alas, without an instruction manual - which you can download online. This is an environmental win here for those that not only care for their family but the world around them. Even better, the packaging is easy to pack down for recycling. What perplexed me a little bit was the setup of the Dyson HP07 to Dyson Link to use your phone or device like a remote or to view all the stats including air quality, and more, from the palm of your hand. If you’re not computer savvy or like to keep it simple, you can also view all of your units intelligent data from the unit itself by making selections on the included, magnetic remote. Aesthetically, the Dyson HP07 is a good looking product. In the White/Silver combination, it’s modern curves blend seamlessly into our contemporary home decor. It’s 76.4cm height allows the Dyson HP07 to provide long-range heat projection, as promised, ensuring an evenly and quick-to-heat room for Winter and powerful, purified cool airflow in Summer, or in our Queensland home, for warm winter days. Weighing a mere 5.5kg, it’s easy to move room-to-room, where so required and it’s small foot print is perfect for my little ones room without losing the great functionality you’d expect from Dyson.
Smart Air Purifier
I received this air purifier as part of ProductReview’s ambassador program.
Let us start with the packaging. The filters are not installed in the machine, which means you get a very tall package for a relatively small machine. I could not understand any operational reasons for this, and having the filters already installed would save a lot of packaging material (and storage space).
Installing the filters is relatively easy, although you will not get a positive “locked in position” sensation even after everything is in place. I had to detach t...he filters and push them back in place a few times to make sure I was doing it correctly. Next came turning the unit on and pairing it with Dyson’s app on my phone. I had a hard time because my phone refused to see the unit, and following all the troubleshooting steps on Dyson’s website, and going on chat with their help-desk (which were very nice I must say) did not help. But after I restarted my phone, everything worked like a charm, so I will not hold this part up against them. I just wish their troubleshooting steps included the famous “Have you tried turning it off and on again” too. There is a cute LCD on the machine which shows you current mode, fan speed, and air quality analysis. You can cycle through various pages like particle count, volatile organic compounds (VOC), temperature, etc., and if the sensors detect harmful particles in the air, the display will automatically jump to the relevant screen. This happens to me every time I open the balcony door, as my neighbors love to smoke, have BBQs or otherwise pollute the air. One missing feature is for the display to automatically cycle between different screens without you having to press any buttons on the remote.

Clean heat in an aesthetic package
Recently we received a Dyson Purifier Hot & Cool as a part of Product Review’s Ambassador Program, so let’s start at the beginning.
PACKAGING AND DOCUMENTATION
Why does packaging matter? Well quite simply it ensures safer delivery and expresses a level of pride by the manufacturer, so I am big on packaging.
And the Purifier arrived well packed, pleased to say with only cardboard rather than polystyrene which is always hard to dispose of.
Interestingly it arrives with its two filters out of the unit in sealed plastic bags, which I assume is to ...

Should be identified as primary heater/cooler with secondary air purification
I received the Dyson Hot+Cold Air Purifier in mid-June for the purpose of testing for a non-biased review.
The device is well-packaged and very easy to set up with only the main body and 2 filters to fit into the 2 flaps around the neck of the device, and a tiny remote control. It was good to see the usual thick instruction manual usually printed in 100-odd lanuages MISSING from the box "to reduce environmental impact" and instead accessible online - well done Dyson!
The instructions advise to use "AUTO" function on the small remote. At this ...setting the fan was on quite high and initially blew out hot air at 27 degrees. The airflow speed can be reduced on the remote but I found even at the lowest 1 setting, the fan was audible on the background like a typical fan heater. It was not until pressing the fan setting ("blue dot") did the airflow reduce to a virtually inaudible. The fan is not very high from the ground and one would think the fact one can put one's hand through the centre it would be safe for children however I found on the hot setting the hot air is still blowing out of the black rims and this would not be safe for small children to touch. We noticed our 1yo having a habit of going up to it and turning it on at the power button on the device. There does not appear to be any child lock so we had to keep unplugging at the powerpoint to prevent him turning it on. You have to download the Dyson Link app which is very easy to set up and identify the device. You can control the settings from the app on your phone and to avoid the tiny remote getting lost it can be placed on the top of the fan which has a magnet inside to stop the remote from slipping off which is handy.

How did not have it before!
After getting a quick delivery of the Dyson air purifier the setup was very easy as instructions are clear to assemble it.
I suffer from asthma since childhood and I am allergic to dust and other things, for this reason use a robotic vacuum which runs twice in the day. Since I got the air purifier Which I run during when I get home, I can sense a difference on the air between the bedroom where the purifier is running and the rest of the house.
I am very light sleeper so a bit of noise bothers me and been most of issues with fans, the Dyson ru...ns very quietly that I even doubt is running until I put my hand on the air flow path. The app to control the purifier from the phone is very easy to manage and very simple, on it you can adjust speed, oscillation angle, temperature to run to cool or heat up, app also tells you how the quality of the air around you is. I have labrador dogs and have noticed that the air purifier picks up the dog smell and starts to work when the dog is in the room. What a great thing! I also have noticed that I get a much better sleep and wake up refreshed! So far I am very happy with the Dyson Air purifier!! Wonder why did not get one before!

Overall a pretty good product and would recommend
The price is the only big drawback for the size room it heats a reverse cycle AC installed is probably only $200 more.
It heats a 4x6x3m room very effectively.
It's not overly loud there is a definite sound of air moving that's it.
The build quality feels a little cheap for the price tag but as far as portable heaters go it's pretty good.
The app and ability to change rotation angles are great.
The filters and feedback for air quality are nice to have.
The remote and the magnetic holder feel way too cheap for the price and need to be impro...
A supersized hairdryer that you don't have to hold and cleans the air that you breathe!
*** First Impressions ***
I have owned one of the first Dyson air purifiers for a few years for a number of reasons, we had some mould/damp issues in the bedroom, my wife has hay fever and I Asthma. We originally only purchased the cool version without the heater, but we soon regretted that in winter. It would have been super useful to have a portable heater for a few rooms that we don't have ducted air conditioning in or when we didn't want the expense of using the air conditioning to heat just a single room.
Therefore I was very excited to ...see how the heat function worked and also the new upgrades and features that I'm sure the Dyson elves must have added over the years. The first I noticed on arrival was that it was way more compact than my existing fan (the really high loop) which I knew would make it easier for me (and my wife) to move around when needed. The packaging was everything you'd expect from a premium brand such a Dyson and it was very simple to put together, although the filters were a little fiddly to get to click in properly. It was also much easier to connect my phone to the device that I recall with my existing part, the hardest part was disposing of all the packaging (a surprising amount of plastic and cardboard for such a small product, albeit delicate and expensive so the cardboard was understandable at least. Another noticeable difference was that the fan part of the device not only pivots left to right, but it is also tiltable! This is something we really wished our first device had so the air could be directed to the required height when sleeping. But come close, it gets better....the new version also has a diffusion mode which in layman's terms means you can direct the air out the back so you don't have a cold breeze hitting you in the chops as you sleep and wafting your hair around like you'd fallen asleep with your head out the car window (don't try this at home kids, it's dangerous). It also has improved fancy-sounding technical stuff like the following that sounds way fancier than I recall so that must mean they're better:

Heating not good from a distance, but otherwise a very good machine
This Dyson Air Purifier H07 unit was provided to me by product review to assess and report on.
The unit was very easy to assemble out of the box – nothing difficult except to make sure the HEPA and carbon filters go in the correct way. Looks very stylish and sturdy and what you become used to expect with Dyson products.
I started playing around with the remote and let me say there are so many features on the screen of the Air Purifier that you definitely need to download and read the online manual on what they do otherwise you are wasting you...r time trying to work out what they all mean. A great feature is that you can also download the Dyson Link App on your phone and control the unit directly from your phone. This includes even when it is off. I found this to be the best feature actually, because in this cold weather if you are not at home and know you will be coming home to a cold house, the app will allow you to turn on the unit and then programme away your heat settings (in this case). Brilliant! The fan can be directed straight or to oscillate from 45 to 350 degrees. It also manually tilts up or down to divert the airflow which all becomes preferential. We were a little disappointed in the top speed “10”, of this unit which isn’t very strong at all compared to our Dyson Cool Pedastal Fan we have which almost blows you away on full power, but I suppose we are used to very strong wind flow in summer. Upon initially using the unit, both myself and my wife found it quite annoying if you expect hot air to blow on you from a distance because all you get is cold air by the time it reaches you!

It’s what you’d expect from Dyson
Dyson strives for the top end market, so it’s always aesthetically pleasing to look at, I mean, who else would make a fan with no blades? Given the right circumstances this heater/fan/air purifier will do a good job, but it’s limited to an apartment or bedroom, because the average Australian open plan living room is too big for it to do the most efficient job. I was given it to try in winter which is not ideal. I have a big lounge room (60sq) that I can close off with French doors and usually I use a reverse cycle air conditioner but it does ge...t very hot quickly, even though it’s temperature controlled, this machine took quite a while to heat, about 30 minutes unlike the air conditioner, which takes about 10, so although we didn’t get warmer quickly it did warm us eventually and we didn’t get too hot overall, it did struggle to keep the room warm, but it is a big room with 3 metre ceilings, and it’s just about all glass, even though they are covered with blinds and thick curtains. So a normal lounge would probably be ok. I tried it in my ensuite which is 4 metres long by 2metres wide with an exhaust fan on and it was ok. Even though it’s winter, I’ve tried the fan just to hear how loud it is and to feel how far it would reach and I really think it would be great in summer, I like that the lights go out if you have it in your bedroom so that it doesn’t disturb your sleep and it’s quiet whilst it’s on the night setting. So I’ll probably use it a lot in summer. What I really wanted to test this machine out for though was the air purifier as my house is currently going through renovations and my lounge room has just had 100+ year old recycled jarrah floor boards put down and had about 7 hours of sanding done to them, so my house has had quite a bit of jarrah dust through out. In the last year, a bathroom, laundry and toilet has been replaced as well and we also found out that we had water damage in our roof, so I was interested in seeing how much the purifier picked up the dust and pollens ect in the air. My house has been thoroughly cleaned and cleaned, but I was curious as to how much dust or mould or anything was still lingering as I do occasionally get a runny nose when I enter my lounge room which is from allergies to the jarrah dust. Surprisingly the machine registers nothing in the lounge room, it stays a constant nothing even when I vacuum using (a Dyson) near it, so I’m guessing jarrah dust doesn’t register as a nasty even though it’s as dangerous as asbestos! But it does register in my ensuite which is where I have had a leak in my roof and was supposedly fixed by a roof plumber, so after winter, I will get that looked at again. I have one problem with the machine and that is it has no handle, it says not to carry it around through the round blade part, but it’s difficult to pick up cause there’s nothing to grab on to, so if you need to pick it up and take it to other rooms, how do you transport it? Clearly it’s meant to be just put in one spot and left there, but what if you want to move it as I did, it’s clumsy and this has not been thought through. Yes, it may hurt the aesthetic, but I’m sure they could design some snazzy bit to make it look ok instead of having to lug it from the bottom all the time.

Cool Unit, Brilliant App. At a Price!
I was given this Dyson Air Purifier by Product Review to test and review. I rate the Dyson H07 between 4 and 5 stars. So here's a comprehensive report:
The Dyson Air Purifier Heating and Cool is fun to use. Not what would instantly come to mind for a room purifier and heater/cooling fan. It comes with an expensive price tag, so it needs to be impressive. The HEPA and Carbon filters should last 12 months and list price for HEPA replacement is $99.
The unit is compact, stylish and stable (hard to knock over). The functionality of the phone a...
