chest of drawers. It was small so I still bought it. I saved $999 Sadly Artarmon is closing but if I need any more items I will either go to Auburn or buy online They also have lots interesting items. Go there as they are really good.

Faulty product but worse customer service – Rude instore staff. Misleading online delivery dates. Faulty product. Slow customer service. Delivery guys were great though. OZ DESIGN saved the day. was offered which wasn't a big deal. The table next to it had some black chairs, so we moved on black chair over to the table to see what they looked like together. We did this gently, no fuss or anything and it was met with a turce comment from the store lady "Are you right rearranging the furniture?". Hardly rearranging anything so while we decided we liked the table we didn't want to buy it then an there so I ordered it online.

The website stated an available from date. We needed the table by a certain date which fell within that timeframe so we ordered it. Then received a confirmation email with a delivery date 6 weeks later than shown on the site. After a few days of emails back and forth with customer service they told me that the date shown on the site is the day they get the shipment in rather than the day it is available to customers. The managed to move the date forward.

The delivery guys were great. The only positive in the whole experience. We put the table together. Followed the instructions to hand screw the bolts in but one of the bolts just fell out when we turned the table over. It had come away from the top. The table was also wobbly and rocked.

10 days of back and forth with customer service on emails and a few calls (when the phone would be answered) and the agreed the table was faulty and would have it picked up and refunded. They said they'd never had that problem before even though the instructions stated that the issue we had was a risk with the table if you used power tools to put it together so it is obviously an issue with the design. I had to chase the refund for 2 days after the picked up the table with no reply or answering the phone. Finally got it in the end.

Went to Oz Design. Purchased a new table and they had it delivered a few hours later.

Wouldn't waste your time and money with Early Settler if you're considering them.

Love the store! – Loved my shopping experience at Early Settler with a great range of affordable furnishings - lots of interesting and eclectic soft furnishings and fabrics, ceramics, art and decorator items and a different and very interesting selection of furniture styles. Junk for high price – Bought 6 chairs, 3 were broken, all 6 were of non acceptable quality, luckily checked in store before taking them home. Even the sale persons were not impressed by the products, and returned my money back. Will never buy from this shop.  Show details

changeable covers.. slouch couch – I went away on holidays and had some visitors staying and they washed my slouch couch covers through the wash without realising its a dry cleanable only item. I called the store i bought it from in Artamon hoping I could buy some new covers and they told there is nothing that can be done... surely this is not the case?!!!!!???.. if this lounge… Read more

comes with removeable covers can you really not purchase spare ones if something goes wrong with them... if No this should really be told to customers when making a purchase!!!! Although this was not a fault of the store just saying "sorry but no we dont do the buying..all the best" is not helpful at all!! Something must be able to do be in terms of purchasing some new covers!

Faulty and deceptive bathroom products – 2 years ago I bought a variety of products from this store for a bathroom renovation and have been bitterly disappointed. water tight and last week the shower head broke off. They paid for the cracked vanity to be fixed but have not taken any responsibility for all the other faults with their products and service. They are a dishonest business.
