This purchase was my second experience with the Bundaberg store. The first experience I would rate only marginally higher, if anything at all. The customer service is atrocious. I knew what I wanted, so just needed to view the item in the physical but constantly been told by the service person both on the phone and when I arrived to view it, how very busy they were, and therefore could not even spend the time to show me the item - I had to go look for it myself, was infuriating. 3 phone calls following up when it would be in store for pickup, no one could tell me except, "we will ring you when it is ready". Text message received to say it was ready for pickup. I phone the store to advise that I would be arriving about 15 mins before their closing time and told where to park the car. I park the car. Press the buzzer. Wait, wait, wait for 7 mins and then a service person comes out of the door and yells at me "what do you want?". I think the staff need a bit more training in customer service

Lovely looking sofa, disappointing quality, but very impressed with customer service! – EDIT: I was contacted by Early Settler and they have been extremely kind and considerate of our issues and have offered us a fair compromise, so we are extremely impressed with their customer service! A big thank you to your company for taking customer complaints seriously and making a sincere effort to rectify the problem. The team at the store is lovely and helpful, but the quality and comfort of our Dunaway leather recliner sofa with chaise is disappointing. It looks gorgeous, but we regret this expensive purchase (over $4500). Even 3 months after purchase and it supposedly 'wearing in', I still feel the springs in the hard seat if I sit or recline more than half an hour in it and miss our 16 year old leather sofa. Even though that was old and sagging, it was a lot more comfortable than this new sofa. The leather of the Dunaway sofa feels lovely and soft but seems to be very thin and already has a tear on the chaise section, even though we have no more children living at home. Our old leather sofa withstood many years with small kids, teenagers and pets without anything like that happening.
Mirror Mirror on the wall who’s the fairest of them all ??? Early Settlers!!! – Wow, just absolutely beautiful to browse through the Bundaberg store for the first time. The quality was exceptional; The staff very very friendly- Helen was full of good knowledge about the beautiful furniture she works with every day ( lucky lady) After three years of searching for a Mirror for my toilet I could not believe that I found one that fit perfectly in a small area above the hand basin and a wall cupboard, A plain one to be made was going to cost double the price of the one I got from early Settlers, and the one I got is white washed timber ornate so it’s beautiful and practical at a fantastic price!!! I also ended up buying a rug on sale ,so I’m impressed !!! It’s usually very hard for me to be happy with my Purchase decisions and end up procrastinating and overthinking everything I want and need. So to kill two birds with the one store is a first for me ! Early Settlers (E.S) is the “have it all” store at a fraction of the price. Really too many amazing pieces I adore, I didn’t want to leave on my last visit I was just sitting and feeling the quality. If you want something special without going to an exclusive furniture store with the ridiculous price tags. E. S is that place I Definitely will be looking first at Early settlers for anything else I want in the future. ( I have my eye on a 2/3 seater at E.S for the grandkids rumpus room)

Awesome Service – Over the phone service was amazing and only charged a $70 delivery fee to my home. Everything was securely wrapped and protected. Had only viewed the furniture online so when we unwrapped it we were amazed at the quality. It is just beautiful. Thank you.
