Poor Process for Ordering items not in stock – Earlysettler, the companies ordering process gives customers poor service. Aileen – Very disappointed ordered the orchard oak extension table. 8 chairs and orchard oak medium sideboard order cost $2478. Paid a $720 deposit on the 19/5/2016. Back order so about a 6 week wait then a phone call to say further delay. Then we had a delivery date 22/8 then another phone call to say it wouldn't reach the docks till 28/8 so then 10 days… Read more

Delivery set for AM on Tuesday 23 must be am as I work afternoon shift no worries waited all morning still no delivery so I rang the store which is mitcham. Lovely young man who bad timing I was really annoyed by then sorry for being rude but Robyn store manager who had promised the AM delivery was away. Then 24/8 a phone. Call from Robyn to say the alleged table is damaged funny how she would unpack the table before delivery. SorryRobyn but I think you lied from the start and you are full of it. Early settler your service is sadly lacking if I could give you less than one star I would.

Good Customer service and even gave me an on the spot discount – I bought a small table ($79), they had to order in, they said it would arrive in a week, ES called me and left me a message to say that I could pick it up when I arrived in store. problems on the docks( I thought ,dumb , it was Australian made) anyway we were delivered a floor stock table for x-mas which was changed over to our fully paid for table in Febuary.yay. We haVe used the table twice since,but it looks like [censored word removed],totally faded on one side.
Trying to contact and get a response from place of purchase is an absolute nightmare,finally we did and "the guy" is on holidays ,you will have to wait!!!! [censored word removed], things are really slow, six months after first contact"the guy"came. Someone will contact you on Monday not I had to contact them! A very long story short the problem is not resolved,the product is faulty but they will not refund(just outside warranty but I feel the process was deliberately prolonged)they are happy to replace but admit there is nothing to replace it with(10 seater) but I can wait six weeks ( heard that before) and our new stock comes in...I'm sure there will be something I will like , meanwhile I should be thankful they are allowing us to use the table!!! ......what the!!!

excellent – we have bought several things from early settler ie outdoor setting and dining table and each time was assembled with no problems . I would defiantly use them again .Some of the items be bought 2 or more years ago and also recently and all is still in great condition.very happy customers. Show details
