Don't use this business. I was quoted $69 but the worker demanded $180 when he arrived. He was very intimidating so I gave him all the cah that I had $135. He gave me a receipt for $120. He then demanded that I give him a 5 star review. When I said I would do it later he said no, get your phone I'll show you. He then reached over and gave himself a 5 star review. I am 70 years old and he was too aggressive. Avoid this business

My carpets were in FANTASTIC condition, NO odour, NO stains, we honestly just took advantage of the cheap deal online then when they have arrived they are telling me my carpets were in bad condition. We built this house not even 12 months ago & the carpets are almost brand new. They also told me that they have to add ‘extra GST’ if I bank transfer to them??? & there’s more costs if I use my card. How is this legal? Then they proceeded to tell me to use cash and it’ll be no higher cost knowing most people don’t carry cash on them & without telling us this prior to them attending. who arrived appeared to be a subcontractor — unprofessional, unsure how to assess the rug, and not confident in his work. He gave me a quote on the spot and insisted on payment via cash or bank transfer, despite the website clearly stating that all major credit cards are accepted. During the visit, he even asked inappropriate personal questions such as whether I owned or rented my home and how much I paid for my rug, which made me very uncomfortable. He charged me $200 which was supposed to be 109 according to the operator The actual cleaning job was rushed and carelessly done. He used what looked like a basic supermarket-style machine, worked for less than 20 minutes, and left my rug wet and smelling bad. When I contacted the company to report the issue, I was given contradictory information. They promised a callback and said another cleaner would come, but no one did. The next day, another person told me no one else was available and that they wouldn’t be able to fix the problem. I asked to speak with management and request a refund but have received no response since — my calls and messages are now ignored. This business is not what it claims to be online. The service, professionalism, and customer care are extremely poor, and I strongly recommend avoiding Ecobond Carpet Cleaning altogether. If I could, I would give zero stars.
