Terrible company – After installation company was unable to contact with any issues and enquiries post installation. After calls and messages towards them I found out they are in liquation.

Dodgy company – Having problems with my 4 y/ o system and can’t get hold of anyone , all numbers disconnected . It seems my inverter may need replacing as it is inferior , very disappointed

After sales assistance was terrible – The salesman was exceptional... but he left! We signed up in November, wasn’t installed until feb, it was as if we were forgotten about. Do not bother to try to contact them via their email as I have sent 3 and am still waiting a reply. If they call they leave no message so you have no idea who called. to shop around On top of this the installers forgot to install the hot water timer so now that has cost me more and I have to chase that up. When I eventually spoke to someone they were great

Best thing we ever did – Econnect was really helpful from the start with Price and what we really needed , right from the sales people to the installors . We put a 40 panel, 10kw system and have not had a power bill since. We use power as useual , a/c’s and reverse cycle heat all really good.

To Kirstie in the office she was very quick to get back to us re the paperwork for the smart meter installation, and again very helpful. To the installers Tom, Emerson and I didn't catch the other guys name, they all were very friendly and helpful in explaining how the system works etc. Red Engergy supplied the smart meter on 3/9 and hope we can now start saving money! Since then we're generating approx 40 kw per day.

Even though the price was a little more I think we got quality with the better panels and are very impressed with the service provided by Econnect staff and will highly recommend them to our friends/family who are going to go Solar! Well done. Thanks again Chris Hochkins

honest... is better than I expected. I went with a slightly bigger system, as the value for money made sense, which I was a little hesitant BUT glad I did.

Normally wouldn't bother to much with such a positive post but I want to make sure others have the opportunity to experience what I have, and hopefully save as much as I am now :)

Dodgy! – Approached by Solar Company and advised on the immediate savings to electricity bill as a result of solar system installation. The company consultant will not disclose that the current electricity rates charged by Electricity Provider would be replaced with Smart Meter rates - with electricity charged at a higher cost! Tradesmen (cowboys with limited electrical qualifications) do not upgrade the meter system when undertaking the work. The installers did not bother checking to see only a 67-amp service was available to the dwelling; yet installed devices reliant upon a 100-amp service. Within 2 months of the solar panel installation the copper 67-amp service failed (luckily not overheating and starting a fire). I had to pay for a Level 2 electrician to upgrade the system.

Would not recommend.

Misleading salespeople – We got a call from eConnect to offer us a system that ‘pays for itself’. Salesman came to our house for a consultation and dodged questions about payments, turns out it’s a 5 year payment plan and includes interest. Quality – Had my system installed 2 months ago. Econnect done a great job, didn't have to do a thing. They kept me in the loop throughout the whole process great customer service. Pay a little bit extra but totally worth it

Product and performance review – I feel like the materials used have been of great value! We hadn’t heard of Risen until the specialist showed us a few articles regarding their solar farm in WA, Merredin and now we’re over moon with the results. We’ve saved over $650 per quarter since the installation a short while ago and jake and the boys who installed the system were really good value. Would recommend!

Very Expensive 2 x market price – After consultation and handwritten quote, I discovered econnect are charging about double the usual price for average equipment and warranty. Suddenly the ‘interest free’ deal looked awful at $11,000. Shop around folks, there are much better deals out there.

Well overpriced – Easy, but system not placed where we were told it was going to go. No “Issues”, but disappointed with results, still to be corrected I hope. We were assured we were paying for the best quality 6.4kw system but at close to $10000 the results were poor. Not once have we achieved more than 4.2kw although others in town who have paid under $4000 from another Company have achieved far more. Show details

Solar – I was approached by a young guy selling this product like it was cheap and the place to go with after signing a contract and getting other quotes I found out I was paying $10 500 for a system going for no more then $5000

Do your homework – Was approached by a polite young man from Econnect who asked if we were interested in Solar. As we were, we arranged to have a conversation with a consultant. Solar Products. After checking with other Solar providers, my son is in recruitment and has contacts in the field, it appears that the the "Ferrari" of Solar Products are in fact a "Kia" and are "entry level products". Stated that they have been trading since 2008, but in reality have only been trading as Econnect Solar since 2018. Econnect are selling a low range product for a high range price. Before signing up "do your homework" and see if that's the best deal. I cancelled my contract and have since gone with another provider.

If you are thinking of getting solar- call these guys... Why? – We shopped around and settled on Econnect Solar due to the great communication, offer to come to us and lack of pressure. and tidy. They helped us organise all change over stuff with Origin. The after sale service has been excellent - we had a glitch due to a power surge from the grid - we got sound advice after hours, as call back first thing in the morning and then a visit the next day. They even followed up with origin.

Our power bill has gone from $600+ a quarter to $65 !!! Our estimated bill for the current quarter is -$70 !

We could not be happier!

Cheaper electricity on the way – After a slow start, salesman initially door knocking while I was at work and wife only at home, came back at the promised appointment time when I was at home. System fully explained and costed, more pricey than others advertised but better quality and should be generating more power for longer. A few delays due to weather, unavoidable, customer service from the office staff was very helpful and welcome.
